  • Jim Wooldridge, former Kansas State basketball coach and current Texas State University Major Gifts Developer explodes after he's had enough with the refs during the 2001-2002 KU-KSU game. KU would win, 98-71 coached by the greatest coach in KU history, Roy Williams

    That was one of the few times I was happy about Wooldridge. That game's officiating was an absolute joke.

    1. Good! I hope you call the "displacement" EVERY time. You can do your part to make the game better.
    2. Did the defensive player flop or was he really displaced in this case?
    3. If that is a bad non-call, which I'm not sure if it is, but I know the center official could not have gotten a good look. The lead official should have rotated over. Since the lead did not put the crew in a good position, the C official was straightlined so there is no way he could have seen the play.

    When did KU lose to Butler? Do you even know what sport you're talking about? Get outta here, queerbait.

    I love the look on Collison's face. At least it gave the kstate fans something to cheer about for once.

    It makes me sick seeing Nick Collison just stick his tongue out at 0:16.

    @TheAiDaN2110 The ksu fan who 'doesn't care about bball' shows up on a video of his bball team getting stomped by his school's far, far, far, far, FAR more successful 'rival' to get upset and whine? Riiight. Along with the 'biased Big XII refs who give KU ALL the calls', ksu fans also use 'no one cares about bball in the Big 12 except KU' in witless attempts to pass off their jealousy and resentment at the success of their far, far, far, far, FAR more successful rival. THAT's what pathetic.

  • @scottinkansas

    @TheAiDaN2110 Ha ha, who's reduced to referencing FOOTBALL on a video of their BASKETBALL TEAM getting stomped on by their far, far, far, far, FAR more successful in-state 'rival'? Ha Ha. 'Living in the past'? Who won the Big XII title LAST YEAR? Who won the Big XII Post-Season Tournament LAST YEAR? Ha ha. Is that recent enough for you? Trying to re-write the history of their far, far, far, far, FAR more successful in-state 'rival', like all ksu fans do. Or are reduced to having to do. Ha ha.

    Simply hilarious. Kansas State is getting humiliated on their home court on national television and their fans give Wooldridge a standing ovation after he gets kicked out. Just to show what a 'fluke' this game was, Kansas beats these clowns 103-68 in Lawrence a couple of weeks later.
    31 straight wins over Kansas State and their fans try to blame every one of 'em on biased officiating. Pathetic. Pitiful. Typical.

    Coincidence, yes that he was part of a great team. The Lakers and Mavs didn't win championships with him on the roster. But you're missing the point. The question was, "Who would you build your team around at PF?" You're telling me, Rodman would be THE GUY, to build around? Give me a break! He's good, and a very valuable member of those teams that won rings, but you are lying thru your teeth, if you say he was the foundation of it all.

  • @sammytu
    @sammytu 17 ปีที่แล้ว

    Where would you start then? And I'll take Duncan over Rodman any day. Heck I'll take Malone over Rodman any day. Why would you even bring up highest winning % of any player in NBA history? Robert Horry has 7 rings, so what? He was on great teams. It's easy to have claim to have the highest winning % if the guy has been on great teams. John Salley is probably up there! Damn Luc Longley could also fall into that category.

    Roy, the greatest KU coach? HAHAHAHAHA!
    Here you go, here's the correct list:
    1. Phog Allen (1907-1909, 1919-1956)
    2. Larry Brown (1983-1988)
    3. James Naismith (1898-1907)
    4. Roy Williams (1988-2003)
    5. Ted Owens (1964-1983)
    6. Bill Self (2003-Present) (He will move to #4 if KU wins tomorrow)
    7. Dick Harp (1956-1964)

    this video jus pisses me off. ku players thot it was funny that they got away with YET ANOTHER call. then all of these ku fans get on here and defend their team saying they are the best team ever. im sorry but the best teams need skill to not jus the name "kansas" on a jersey.

  • @14691
    @14691 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah, FIVE years ago. Stop living in the past K-State fans, your football team is a joke with no sign of becomming a force anytime soon. And sure, you may have a decent basketball team now, but where will you be after Beasley and Walker leave and Frank Martin is put on probation?

  • @sammytu
    @sammytu 17 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'll give you the fact that Rodman is a GREAT PF, especially considering his size. He is all that you say he is, but would you build your team around him? Is his winning % because he's so awesome, or was it because he played with the Bad Boys of Detroit, who was led by Zeke, and Da Bulls and Jordan?

  • @dahawkfan17
    @dahawkfan17 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    let's see you out there with a whistle. Also, how is this an example of "all levels" of basketball. Seeing it on replay, you could see it was an offensive foul. At first, it looked like a block since the defensive player was not set.

  • @14691
    @14691 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    haha, you're joking right?! Most of the videos that fatty posts relate to KU. They come up when we search Jayhawks. K-State fans are obsessed with KU. KU fans don't even really dislike KSU, we hate MU. We're indifferent towards KSU.

  • @bobolob
    @bobolob 17 ปีที่แล้ว

    You know, I see the 30 point differential on the scoreboard and just laugh. On senior night I remember Nick Collison saracastically referring to the "time we beat K-State." Sure it was a bad call, but did it really matter anymore?

  • @14691
    @14691 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    KU got the worst call in college basketball history in 1966 when JoJo White's would-be-game-winning shot against Texas-Western was said to be out of bounds, when it wasn't.
    Duke gets calls, Kansas doesn't.

  • @cdzmo1972
    @cdzmo1972 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    Where's your proof that Crawford was "convicted" - there is none, he was accused. You signed a player two years ago who was convicted of much worse, then Monty Burns Snyder dropped him when the proof came out.

  • @bobolob
    @bobolob 17 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think he was just saying it as more of an opinion, I mean some people think Karl Malone was the greatest basketball player of all time, doesn't mean it's factually true...

    Wow what was the Coach doing?? Must have been tryin to rev the troops up, 'cause no way was it a charge! Big flop- refs got the no-call spot on!

  • @Jhawk275
    @Jhawk275 18 ปีที่แล้ว

    They got hosed the entire game because of KSU's classless coach and fans. Heckling the refs isn't going to earn you any respect.

    If they call traveling or charge on Nick, the score ends up 96-73...who gives a rats a**, KU kicked KSU's a**, as usual.

    KU’s fight song sounds like it was stolen from a circus troupe and no accomplishment in basketball will ever erase the worldwide laughingstock their athletics program became in the highest revenue sport (only one that really matters).

    KU gets these calls in the conference but not in the tournament. Which is why they lose to Butler, etc.
