I still can’t believe UNC didn’t call timeout with 20 seconds when they had 2! That’s so crazy to me, they threw up two wild 3s when they could have gotten a plan together. Still crazy that they got the ball back after Kansas stepped out! Love was the wrong person to shoot given the night he had. Congrats to Kansas, a great championship game!
Two things i took from this matchup: I, The Heels had no answer for McCormick. None whatsoever. And 2, those Jayhawks had rheir way, literally, in that 2nd half. They just knocked out the lights, burned the hardwood. Kudos to North Carolina, for an 8 seed to have come so far, their fortitude tested game after game, they had one helluva run. We probably wont see another one like that for some time to come. But the Jayhawks, they did not bend, even at 16 points down, where most teams would have come up short, or just folded up, these guys hung in there, stayed focused, kept their cool, and the rest, as they say, is history. Congrats Jayhawks.
@@katietaylor5062 true. But again, no answer. Katie, like i'd mentioned, we will probably not see another 8 run the table like the Tarheels. Gotta give those guys credit, kudos all around. It was one helluva run.

I didn't see the stat sheet, but UNC didn't shoot over 40% in that 2nd. It's how u FINISH! Not always how u start! Hats off 2 KU. They earned that championship.
So proud of the Tar Heels, they really played their hearts out. No one expected them to beat Baylor, UCLA, or Duke(for the second time this year). The “Iron 5” gave it their all but just came up 3 points short. And a depressed spot on the floor may have been the difference.
UNC fans still spreading clown conspiracy theories about loose floorboards being the reason they lost. They even showed all angles, and there is no “depressed” floorboard visible. Sorry you don’t know what light refraction is buddy.
Very well executed... The live version is better than the recorded one Kansas might not have a ton of national championships, but it's tradition like every other blue blood one
This Brady did NOT wanna take last shots. His actions proved by that out of bounds pass & his exaggerated flop fall that took him too long to get UP LoL!
WOW Just Wow This was the greatest March Madness Championship Game that I ever seen . How about that Kansas Jayhawks LETS GO I LIKE THE TRIPLE 3:3, 30 and 33 were all of them were great in the second quarter
As a Tar Heel fan since 2004 when I first found out about them as a little kid (NCAA March Madness 2004 video game), I’m just happy they eliminated Duke and ruined Coach K’s retirement. (I feel bad for Coach K but not really the Duke organization)
Glad Heels didn't fold after their collapse early in the 2nd half. They continued to fight, but came up short. Kansas brought up their defensive intensity and cut the passing lanes. Made RJ play on an island by himself, which led to TOs. The only time the heels faced a defensive team like this in the tournament was Baylor; UCLA was close but their players aren't as built.

Still crazy that they got the ball back after Kansas stepped out! Love was the wrong person to shoot given the night he had. Congrats to Kansas, a great championship game!
Great comeback. Congrats Kansas.
They had no answer for McCormack because UNCs best big man was playing on one leg
@@katietaylor5062 true. But again, no answer. Katie, like i'd mentioned, we will probably not see another 8 run the table like the Tarheels. Gotta give those guys credit, kudos all around. It was one helluva run.
@katietaylor5062 McCormick had an injured foot all year. They were both playing hurt. And both played amazingly this game in spite of it.
Yes…..Kansas Jayhawks!!! Congrats!
Thanks to Kansas for accepting this great gift and ultimate loss by UNC as a win for them. No doubt who had the better team and was deserving of a true win. This is sometimes the nature of sport and life and many lessons to be learned, as always.
No, this isn't a gift. It was taken.
@@Lostjayyhawk that's usually what the weak , less talented losers do, TAKE what is not earned. It is good you are able to see this so clearly.
Unc didn't deserve to win. They deserved a 2nd round loss based on their regular season
@@morongene Ignorant comments that also make NO SENSE are hard to respond to.
Great title game between these 2 blue bloods of college basketball!
Thanks Kansas!👏 the absolute last thing us non Carolina fans in the acc wanted was to listen to obnoxious UNC fans gloat for a whole year! Rock chak Jayhawk! Go Pack!
I know what you mean. Carolina has oboxious fans.
Darren Gaines. 👠 HEELS' fans have kinda EARNED! their abrasiveness! when hanging banners on tobacco road, as well as their decorated alumni, which r 2 many 2 list here. I didn't say it's proper! But hey.
@@petegobeckli1386, they got so cocky at the half.
@@petegobeckli1386, they have. They got so cocky at the end of one half. They forget about the second half.
@@derekmathews1557 OK. But give credit where credit is due. That KU team got reminded just why they were the only #1 team remaining in the 2022 NCAA MENS BASKETBALL 🏀 TOURNAMENT: DEFENSE! what did the Jayhawks score in the second half? 46 or 47 points, while holding the 👠 HEELS to 2 28pts. I didn't see the stat sheet, but UNC didn't shoot over 40% in that 2nd. It's how u FINISH! Not always how u start! Hats off 2 KU. They earned that championship.
Coaches and the teams' role models taught them good sportsmanship. They learned and obeyed their role models. Thumbs up to these fine young men.
I’m here after we just OUTRIGHT WON the Big 12 in 2023!! Thanks TCU! KU, lets go Back 2 Back shall we??? 😏
10:51 Coach Self at his most frustration; 11:17 at his most angriest.
One of the players said that Self was essentially foaming at the mouth in the huddle when Harris accidentally stepped out of bounds.
13:31 Legend has it that shoe is still on the floor after all left.
Congrats KU , from a Duke fan, how sweet to see the Tarholes get Rock Chalked 😁
Cheers, Bro! Always a Duke fan, but always a KU fan first.
@@gamewizardks Happy for your program and Coach Self, wish his father could of seen his son win it tonite
Hey we are happy to help you feel better! Sorry tarholes!
Absolutely 💯Correct! As a Wolfpack fan carolina winning would of been dreadful! Wolfpack fan but also an ABC fan! 😀
You mad cause Duke lost to UNC that's ok😅😅
Congrats kansas especially kabayan remy martin.....

Chills when the band plays "I'm a Jayhawk!" On national television. Everyone heard it.
Very well executed... The live version is better than the recorded one
Kansas might not have a ton of national championships, but it's tradition like every other blue blood one
@@otaviofrnazario any chance you can find a live version?
@@johnwesleyhuss2327 there are some on YT but from the First and Second round, from the final four I've not found one yet
What a team effort !!!
Rock Chalk we did it 🥳🏆 I’ve waited 14 years 🥺😭 was emotional for me and this team so glad we did it
I hear you.
Rock chalk ‼️🔵🔴 2022 national champions
Still the Champs to this day!!!

The body language "just won my 2nd after being dwn 15 at Halftime!"
if brady didn’t trip i just knew when he got that ball he wouldve made that
Highly doubt it, would be tough shooting over those giants. #RockChalk
It looked like he was tripped by #30's foot.

This Brady did NOT wanna take last shots. His actions proved by that out of bounds pass & his exaggerated flop fall that took him too long to get UP LoL!

@@cwebed-stuy9951 Was it? Haha it's been a looooong time I can't remember exactly. It's still safe to say KU waited 65 years for this. ✌😁
march is right around the corner again boys!! Rock Chalk
WOW Just Wow This was the greatest March Madness Championship Game that I ever seen .
How about that Kansas Jayhawks
LETS GO
I LIKE THE TRIPLE 3:3, 30 and 33 were all of them were great in the second quarter
Kansas was bound to come back and win.UNC exceeded expectations getting past first weekend
Great Basketball all around! Respect to both teams! Congratulations 🍾🎉🎈 Kansas
As a Tar Heel fan since 2004 when I first found out about them as a little kid (NCAA March Madness 2004 video game), I’m just happy they eliminated Duke and ruined Coach K’s retirement.
(I feel bad for Coach K but not really the Duke organization)
ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK FOR ETERNITY 😭❤️💙
Glad Heels didn't fold after their collapse early in the 2nd half. They continued to fight, but came up short. Kansas brought up their defensive intensity and cut the passing lanes. Made RJ play on an island by himself, which led to TOs. The only time the heels faced a defensive team like this in the tournament was Baylor; UCLA was close but their players aren't as built.
@lodaya go away
MVP should've been Caleb Love. He took 24 shots 5 for 24.....lol. Brutal.
