It's been a year since the incident. All the charges against the store owners were dropped and the court found him not guilty. Here's what the owner said about the incident, minus all the points that you've pointed out in this video. The owner used 14 inch barrel Benelli M4. The first shot from the owner was a warning shot. He wasn't so sure if he should just shoot them right away or not. If he just shoot randomly outside, it could hit a pedastrian around there or another employee, but if he let them in, they'd sure get to him and his wife. So he pressed the pistol grip against the floor and fire the shotgun into the ceiling. Either it would hit the ceiling, or the dude that's using the saw. While the robbers were running away, he walked out of the backdoor and guard the shop from behind the counter, trying not to shoot at them since it would get him into trouble in the court later with excessive force. Suddenly the guy who shot the glass door at the beginning shot back at him once. The owner then retaliated by shooting at them 4 more times, aiming at their legs. He said he didn't know and didn't care which guy it would hit, but just enough to stop them and catch them in their track, hopefully that they won't die, just enough to not be able to rob anyone else. The first two shots were birdshots, the others were buckshots. The reason why he load birdshots first is because he thought that he might need to fight at such a close range like that and hopefully the windows would catch the shots before it would hit random people on the street. 2 defendants (the robbers) are probably gonna be sentenced to 10 years and 9 months in prison, while the other defendant will be 6 years and 8 months. God bless the M4 lol

The more I see these videos, the more I understand that bad people thrive mainly because good people are trying to repay evil with good. If more good people re-payed evil with maximum penalty, lots of evil would disappear in the world.
It's interesting how you had to parse your words on that. I think the issue is that you are matching action to intent with the whole good and evil thing. Basically what you are saying is that if more heroes ended more villains than evil would go away, but it fails to recognize that sometimes villains are ended by other villains. For example just a week ago, there was a news story about two brothers fighting over Christmas presents, the sister tried to break them up and ended up getting shot by one of the brothers and the other brother shoots him in response to his sister being shot. In addition to this being the tragic consequences of single motherhood on the world, it also shows that good and evil is a terrible metric to judge things. because shooting your brother to try and defend your sister can be considered to be a good act...but a 15 and a 14 year old who are armed while opening Christmas presents in their own home are OBVIOUSLY both evil people. The mother possibly being the most evil through her indiscriminate procreation and failure to properly discipline and educate her children that produced this situation. But notice that her evil was not countered basically at all and she had no part in the violence of the situation.
other than having the shotgun ready and available as they came in, this is perfect. They were obviously well prepared with a very serious cage, rocking the 12 gauge with buckshot like anyone who really means business, kept in cover/concealment (we'll never really know which) while putting accurate enough fire down range. What would you want to bet this business is built from the ground up? That owner is having none of it.
@@ajprudence6235 Not really. You go in there, you'll get new friends and skills. Even with life imprisonment, you'd still have a chance of getting your sentence reduced to 20 years. I've seen a dude who goes to prison over and over again and he doesn't seem to care. Even with more "Sacred" tattoos each time he comes out.
Just hearing the gauge rack is enough to make a perp produce unsweetened Hershey's. And the whole "justified conduct" thing is a US Law consideration. Not sure if it applies overseas or specifically in Thailand.
The amount of times I have seen gun fights on here and people miss each other from a few metres away . I suppose the shot gun gives you more chance of hitting something . How that guy could not hit al 4 perps from that range though I can’t understand. Maybe he didn’t really want to kill them .
I’ve had people tell me that a shotgun is a terrible weapon for home defense. I just look at them like they’re a small child that still believes in Santa or the Easter bunny. It’s a great home defense tool. That’s why I have 3 of them ready to go. I also have my ar and my pistols ready too.
I have 2 12ga shotguns A maverick 88 & 930 mosburge Simi-auto . I first shot a 590 at the range about 20 years ago. After see the damage to the target I had to have one. I got the 930 a year ago after seeing John with his 1301 and worried about the riots
Out of all the overseas smash n grab videos I’ve seen this shop was the most prepared. Glass wall then a vanity cage not to mention a shot gun. These robbers definitely chose the wrong spot
I love them as well! I especially love the IWI Tavor TS-12 Tactical Shotgun! It’s my favorite and it’s amazing! If this shop owner would have been better trained none of those robbers would have left alive!
Absolutely a great tool in this scenario. A 12 ga loaded with 00 buck shot should be required by law as a requirement for acquiring a business license. This kind of thing would stop.

I was impressed with the store security, the windows not withstanding. Those guys brought a metal saw to get through the bars in broad daylight. How long do you have to rob a place in Thailand?
they came prepared four guys with guns and a grinder to cut the bars but didnt expect the shop owner to be packing. Also good job thailand keep that right to bear arms . from the looks of the gun he has a spas 12 he should have hit the selector and went semi auto no pump needed

Damn, that sucks man. Sorry to hear. Can that much muscle grow back or is it just PT and try to get as much movement back as possible?
@@freehand.underhand I was shooting pigeons with my pellet gun with my friend at a abandoned barn back in the early eighties, a old man with Alzheimer’s shot into the corn field as we were running away. He got both of us with one shot, lucky he shot low, I can walk with no problems, it was a pretty tight grouping so I lost about a baseball size piece of my calf, my friend just got pellets, let’s just say it’s not the prettiest thing to look at, have a good day.
@@oxyfee6486 don't you hate when you have to attempted murder the neighborhood children shooting pigeon on your property. Silly kids.

The Clerk whipped out that Saturday night special.
One advantage of the breakable glass was that it made for a very slippery get away path. The dude that slipped may have also been cut.
Shotgun is my absolute favorite defense gun!!! I have a youth model .20 gauge with 00 buckshot and love it for defense.
This is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen on this channel, that was some real payday ass stuff they just did. 😂
*Highest probability of stopping a threat in 1 shot*
I'll take a shotgun.
I can see it now. Mom comes to the hospital. "Tell me what happened!" dude tries to lie and then she sees the tape. Mom then says why did you do that? dude says I don't know! She then shakes her head in shame. So sad.
In the US: He was just doing his job...robbing...way did they shoot him back???
What?
The street howitzer is always a great option for self defense in the hands of people who train..
The more I see these videos, the more I understand that bad people thrive mainly because good people are trying to repay evil with good. If more good people re-payed evil with maximum penalty, lots of evil would disappear in the world.
Yes, it's called eye for an eye.
2 takeaways: 1) Leave the moto running and, 2) Don't bring a pistol to a shotgun fight.
The owner of the store is a shooting champion in his area. It was a John wick shotgun.
other than having the shotgun ready and available as they came in, this is perfect. They were obviously well prepared with a very serious cage, rocking the 12 gauge with buckshot like anyone who really means business, kept in cover/concealment (we'll never really know which) while putting accurate enough fire down range. What would you want to bet this business is built from the ground up? That owner is having none of it.
Damn it. I was hoping to see four bad guys checking they're temperature. Lol
Unlike the US, Thailand police/legal system is so tough that criminals wish they died instead of long prison time.
Its that strict? Wow! Singapore is the same, right?
@@maxahissou7574 Singapore is very safe because of the draconian legal system.
I was really hoping the shotgun owner knew how to use it to please a crowd!
Dude is now one legged for the rest of his life. Love it.
Close but no cigar!
That shotgun up close is so fuckon deadly
Love the shotgun for home defense, but cringe at the people always say "just rack the pump and that'll send em runnin"
I love these feel good stories.
I thought the first guy falling on the glass was satisfying but it was nothing compared to the second guy limping off his scooter.
Guy on the bike's CV reads ' I love working under pressure '
The amount of times I have seen gun fights on here and people miss each other from a few metres away . I suppose the shot gun gives you more chance of hitting something . How that guy could not hit al 4 perps from that range though I can’t understand. Maybe he didn’t really want to kill them .
Yes, love my 12 gauge. Probably the most versatile firearm I own and one of the most versatile in general.
I tried to buy a shock wave but they told me I needed a government stamp
@@SA-yz3kj I have both of those shotguns as well as the 590 shockwave

Pistols poke holes, Rifles destroy organs, Shotguns remove body parts.
One of the many golden rules; You don't want to be executed when on the ground, so don't become an executioner for yourself.
Out of all the overseas smash n grab videos I’ve seen this shop was the most prepared. Glass wall then a vanity cage not to mention a shot gun. These robbers definitely chose the wrong spot
I love a shotgun for defense, but I definitely cringed at the thought of him sending all of that buckshot out into the neighborhood though.
was it actually buckshot?
@@leemyers1015 He said that the one guy was struck by buckshot.
I love them as well! I especially love the IWI Tavor TS-12 Tactical Shotgun! It’s my favorite and it’s amazing! If this shop owner would have been better trained none of those robbers would have left alive!
We’re going to have audio, let’s listen in to a language 99.9% of viewers won’t understand. Lol?
Everyone can speak shotgun.
I don't care about the spoken language...I just wanted to hear the language of the shotgun booms. 😁
Absolutely a great tool in this scenario. A 12 ga loaded with 00 buck shot should be required by law as a requirement for acquiring a business license. This kind of thing would stop.

Yes, I LOVE the gauge!!

No one messes with someone wielding a shotgun. I have a Citadel boss 25 for defending my home.
:) take for reviewing for Thailand I was born & raised in SE Asia 4:00+ "They include 911 or 191 for emergencies, fire, or unwanted intruding animals; 1699 or 1669 (or 1646 or 1554 in Bangkok) for medical emergencies; tourist police, 1155; car theft, 1192; a taxi refusing a trip, 1584; road accidents, 1146."
I was impressed with the store security, the windows not withstanding. Those guys brought a metal saw to get through the bars in broad daylight. How long do you have to rob a place in Thailand?
I rented an apartment of a friend in Thailand and the site security carried a .44 Magnum.
they came prepared four guys with guns and a grinder to cut the bars but didnt expect the shop owner to be packing. Also good job thailand keep that right to bear arms . from the looks of the gun he has a spas 12 he should have hit the selector and went semi auto no pump needed
One shotgun against four perps; scattered 'em like pigeons and got two. Love it when the 'gauge' is used as a defensive equalizer.
Man they came prepared with a saw and all. Like, they clearly planned this, but never considered "what if shopkeep is armed?" Nuttiness!
Shotguns are king for closed spaces, can't miss.
Once again, 12 gauge buckshot for the win! It just DOESNT fail. The gospel of the gauge. 👍🏿👍🏿
Love it when the good guys win
