Shoe Care Academy Saturday?! Yes, this week we're hitting you with a bonus video! Mr. RESHOEVN8R made our guy Pretty Boy Rob work overtime this weekend to clean a customer's pair of Louis Vuitton trainers using our Signature Kit.
As always, Rob started this cleaning by removing the laces and inserting shoe trees. Fitting sizes 6-13 in men's, our shoe trees come included in MOST kits, and are a vital part of the cleaning process - especially when you're working with a customer's designer sneakers!
Once the tree fit snug inside the kick, Pretty Boy broke out his favorite brush - the soft bristle - and gave the uppers a quick, but thorough, cleaning. Hitting the uppers with the soft bristle first will help get rid of that surface-level layer of dirt, allowing you to see if a scrub with the medium brush is necessary. In this case, the LV needed some deeper love, so Rob hit the remaining stains located in the mesh panels, tongue, and midsole with the medium brush, followed by an outer sole scrub with the stiff bristle! At this point, the shoe was looking much better, but still not where we wanted it, so Rob dropped the kick, laces, and a pod into our patented laundry bag for a cold water spin cycle. After a few hours of drying in the sun, the shoe looked as good as new! We still don't know the name of this sneaker - what should we call it? wrong answers only

Is it necessary to use your special laundry pods, or can I just use regular tide pods for sneaker cleaning?
You can use any at home detergent as long as it is 100% natural and dye fee like ours.

Just clean them like you would clean any normal leather shoe! You shouldn't have any issues with bleeding or anything.
when its time to put the shoes in the laundry machine, do you have to put one at a time? or can you put both shoes?
You can put both, we just do one for before and afters.
