This was the first time I heard this song before I ever even knew who WoodenToaster or what a brony even was. I have a lot of memories tied to this incredible arrangement, but those are what I associate most with it. There's probably like 1,000 people tops on the whole planet who even know what that was. Either way, I listen to this all the time, not even for the nostalgia of that. It's just an incredible homage to a phenomenal musician, and needs no context for fandom or anything else. Incredible stuff.
This needs to be in a movie. Would one movie be enough, I wonder, to explore the stories of all the songs? Maybe it would have to be a saga. I see this as an absolute win!

Where did all the music like this and brony metal medley go? Songs like these came out the time when I started in the fandom BECAUSE of the epic music output from the community. I love the Rainbow Factory song - the original and this symphonic version alike. but, I was actually really loving the Nightmare Night opening, and would've liked to hear it go on a little longer before Rainbow Factory usurped the next three minutes. xD Although, I was wondering how you'd transition from one to the next, so I suppose that was a big factor in how long Nightmare could go. :)

After about 2 years or so of being a closet brony, in fact I think I've been a closet brony longer than that, and that I have now declared myself a full-on brony, it's somehow funny and delightfully ironic. I worked so hard to keep it a secret and got so paranoid when I was in fear of being discovered for my strange passion of this show for little girls. Now that I am a full-on brony it seems easier than ever to hide it; except on the internet, of course. On the internet I'm not necessarily trying to hide it, though. In fact I'm already getting both praise and welcoming messages from other bronies online, and not I have been properly introduced to real haters xD. I had converted several haters into bronies back in my closet brony days, let's see what I can do about this one hater who just messages me...
This does not sound too difficult to transpose. the parts are all pretty distinct and there's quite a bit of repetition. I'd say this is good practice for anyone who might want to learn this stuff
