Rum Balls may be a holiday treat, but I like to make them all year round since they are so quick and easy. I experiment and have done everything from rum to bourbon, to whiskey and even wines. Plus with all the choices of things to roll them in , they are just fun. What alcohol would you put in these balls and what would you roll them in??

This is a no bake recipe, so the oven isn't needed. I didn't coat them with anything before the toppings, but if they dry a little bit before you get them all coated, you can spray them with a mist of water and they'll be fine.
I freeze them first (single layer on wax paper) before using a toothpick to dip them in melted chocolate. Place on wax paper to set. I place all in a freezer safe container and freeze for up to 90 days. Make in LARGE batches...

I like using Merlot Wine and rolling in cocoa powder. It then becomes and elegant chocolate truffle. 🍸
@@LetsCelebrateTV I will go for Wine and chocolate, not sure about wine in my chocolate.
@@billbaxter4858 Try it, you might like it!
What would be a replacement for vanilla wafers if I can’t find any?
@@RobA-YT Most any butter cookie or sugar cookie or shortbread cookie would work.
Yum!!! :)

What stuff did you coat them with before adding the toppings and did they have to go into the oven

Let's just say it's a good think I wasn't drinking while watching this! Cheers!
What - you don't like big balls 🍸🍸
How about dunking them in milk chocolate?
Sound good, I might then go for dark chocolate 🍸🍸

Not a fan of Spiced Rum - go for the Myers Dark or Bacardi Black rum instead that this recipe is perfect.
They both work - thanks for watching 🍸🍸
Why water?? 🥴 Put more rum instead of the water!!!! 151 rum for the water would be best!!!!
We want them to have a taste of rum, not go up in flames 😜🍸😜🍸
I use a cup of rum! Delicious!
It's very boring when you try to make a simple short video longer,
😁
