Thank you Devi. I am really enjoying your videos and this sequence was no exception. The selected poses are very complete and precise, and I really appreciate that you allow time and create the vibe to get into them.
This was such a beautiful flow! I was in deep need of releasing the tension in the hip. As well as relieving soreness in the glutes and quad and this helped me deliver in all areas! I was so anxious, and grumpy at the beginning of the flow and came out relaxed and back to being in the present moment, As opposed to fretting about my future. Thank you Devi for sharing your work. It helps people in more ways than you know!
Wow! First class I have taken from you and it was so moving and soothing. I am looking forward to more, although I usually only have time for 30ish mins or less so I will look out for more. Thank you!!
I chose this class today because I only recently have taken up rebounding and my quads and hamstrings are quite worked and feel a little sore ( who ever thinks rebounding is easy think again😅). These stretches were just the right thing, and the word that always comes to my mind when I enjoy one of your classes is “delicious”. It was another delicious time with you and your soothing voice on the mat. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻, Devi. Have a joyful weekend😘.
I have been doing your yin practice for several months. Yesterday I did a 50 minute HIT 1000 calorie workout..jumps to squats, running in place, high kicks and low lunges. My fitness level surprised me. I did not struggle at all through the workout and never was out of breath or fatigued. I finished drenched in sweat and the next day I had no muscle soreness. Is this a side effect of a yin practice?? So appreciate your yin sessions.. BTW thanks for visiting Tucson!!
You go, Chinwe! Yes, yin yoga definitely benefits your recovery time. It reduces muscle soreness by stretching and relaxing the muscles, improving blood flow and promoting a sense of calmness, all of which benefit recovery.
Hi Devi, today is not my rest day, but I worked out hams and glutes this morning, so your class comes on point 😀 And I confirm : we use our glutes for almost everything (walking, sitting and standing up from a chair/couch/toilet, carrying smg from the floor, etc). Great class, very relaxing music, thank you 🙏🙏
Devi, may I ask you a question please ? I'm craving doing a yoga retreat in Poland, but there is only an ashtanga one (I'd prefer going to the dentist one week long rather than doing ashtanga. Sorry ashtangi people here !). I've also seen there is a 30hr (5days) yin yoga teacher training. I don't have the purpose to be a yin yoga teacher, but I'd like to know if this kind of formation can be useful for me, to deepen my knowledges (anatomy for example), and if it seems to you like an intense program (they write we'll have the certification at the end of the 5 days). I just want to go to Poland, do yoga, and, after the retreat, visit what I want with my car😉 Thank you so much for your answer ! !
A teacher training retreat will typically be more intensive time-wise than a regular yoga retreat. But the experience may depend more on who the teacher is. Can you find anything out about them? See if they have any videos on TH-cam or elsewhere, to see if you feel a residence with them? That’s what often really matters the most.
@@DeviDalyYoga it seems my previous answer disappeared 🤐 One of the teachers is Vinay Jesta, he has a YT channel but ....I have a very hard time understanding him (he's and has a STRONG accent). Ooopsie🤐🤐. The other teacher is polish, both are certified E-RYT500. I can't find much more ...
