Good morning! Holy shmolies, this was challenging, but much needed. Everyone should be doing this IT band yin. I did a 10 min thigh /hip workout ahead of this so maybe that had something to do with it. ❤️🙏❤️
Good morning! It's definitely a space that can get very tight and most people don't stretch it out much in their daily exercise. Would a short yoga practice for IT bands be useful to you? Maybe 15-20 mins focused just on this space?
This was a truly nourishing practice! I struggle with tight IT bands on both sides. I felt way more opening/space in my legs and low back after this practice. I truly love your videos, and thank you for making them! 💐

You really read my mind with this video! My IT bands have been super achy for the past month or so because I moved to a new house that has 3 floors with 2 steep flights of stairs- before I was living in a one-level apartment on the first floor of the building. Awesome practice thanks! Please add one for psoas/quads!
Thank you Aprile, that was just what I needed with information in the front of my hip / pelvic bone. This was a really nice practice and I will revisit it a few times.
Another great routine! I needed to try some IT band-focused workouts and thankfully this one appeared so I did it today. I found some older ones you’ve done so I will try those out this week too. Thanks Aprille!
thank you...was climbing SO many stairs, moving boxes, dismantling a home...and my IT bands were SO TIGHT!!! Question though...I noticed with the frog pose, left side, my left foot experienced severe cramping...does the IT band stretch down to the foot area?
Great job! The IT band only attaches at the knee going down the leg but everything is attached on some level. It could also be your hard work dehydrated you enough so the cramping occurred (this happens a lot when working super hard). Good luck on your new home and thanks for joining me! Peace, Aprille
