I would have used my black powder 50 caliber rifle but that's me. That blade worked fine though lol.
Now it's just long enough to go through a leg or an ankle but Funny. Wood pricey? Sheetrock, sinks,toilet,cement,let alone the tools the list goes on and on. It took me the last 3 years to get my house livable and that was me, my wife,and a buddy working on it. If you have to redo the water lines check out PEX I'm glad I spent the money.

How is your dad? Hopefully it's not too serious, but for him to not be working, says it ain't just a scratch. I ain't a religious type, but let him know that I am praying for a fast a total recovery for him and am wishing him the best.. you're a good kid looking out for him and taking care of what hurt him.

how to teach a tree. Step one wrap a chain around it. Step 2 use a fork lift or wrecker to pull out of ground. Step 3 leave it to die.
