- Well, the Sabine and Ezra reunion was extremely underwhelming, but there were some cool elements to appreciate in this episode.

As a veteran, i don't think people understand the dynamic between comrades in arms. Sabine not only cares and loves Ezra, but she has a special connection with him. They've been through shit that, most civilians, wouldn't understand. I know it's a show, but you have to take that into account. So as you see her being whiny and annoying, i see it as she can't deal with the fact of leaving her friend/brother/lover? behind. There is nuance everywhere.
Don't try being logical and nuanced on these numb skulls.
You guys are forgetting how much guilt she is carrying for betraying Ahsoka, and then thinking she's dead. I can see how that ruined their reunion.
Then don’t make stupid decisions like that, doing all wrong to see Ezra, and then you’re not even truly happy when you finally see him after 10 years, why I love Thrawn, he makes objective, rational, and selfless decisions, to save his own people, but still, and Sabine is sacrificing an entire galaxy for one person, like Anakin killed everybody for Padme, human emotions are truly one of the worst thing in exsistence.

The Sabine bashing is disappointing for this wonderful reactor, granted Melissa and Matt are somewhat right about the the poor direction and writing for Sabine. That said, off screen complaining would be better served. Being annoyed and continuously complaining is annoying and a disservice for this channel. Constructive criticism.

Idk how y'all can say Sabine hasn't added anything. Almost everything that has happened so far is due to her, for better or worse. I'm frustrated with her actions, too, but I see where she's coming from. She's desperate for family because hers was killed on Mandalore.
Its clear from the way they refer to her character what it is that bugs them.
Idk if u guys paid attention to the fact Sabine brother father and mother died in the night of 1000 tears when the empire destroyed mandalore

No, Enock is a completely new character, he was part of the leaks for this show. Also, I’d love a behind the scenes documentary, with Dave explaining Sabine’s character at this point in the timeline, so people can at least understand the choices made, even if they still don’t agree with his choices. But George’s star wars wasn’t flawless and perfect either, just saying.
@@ncard00 But, at this point, parts of the Star Wars community don’t need, care or want an explanation from anyone from LucasFilm/Disney. That includes Filoni. Those types of fans want what they want. No amount of explanations they will accept or understand. Every Star Wars fan has seen those other fans.
Yes, Star Wars isn’t perfect. Original Trilogy isn’t perfect. Prequels and Sequels are far from perfect. I remember the Clone Wars were mocked because “who wants a Star Wars cartoon”. Rebels wasn’t “Clone Wars”. To deny that those fans are there, which I don’t accuse you of denying, would be delusional. But those people are usually the loudest in the crowd. They put so much effort to look for a negative and when there isn’t a clear cut negative. They will create one.
I’m a Star Wars fan. Bad or good. I rather more Star Wars than no Star Wars at all.
@@TheBongReyes Well said. No project in Star Wars is perfect. The only time we have ever had perfection was with Empire Strikes Back. Enjoy Star Wars with all its faults, the good and the bad. Too many nitpick things like "Hera looks too human", "Ahsoka doesn't have long enough lekku". Please...

"Golden face" as this lady calls him is the most metal StarWars has become and I'm here for it. I think Sabine is on point... This show rocks. The more creative Star Wars gets, the more snobby fans hate it and the more by the book they go, they hate it the same. These people will never be satisfied and this reaction is truly annoying. Sorry.
If you had focused a little more on the episode, you would have catched that Sabine actually got coordinates from Thrawn for the last, supposed, position of Ezra, and thus it was not a coincidence of dimensions that caused her to meet the Notes ;-)
"Magick" has historically been spelled with a "K" to distinguish it from regular "magic," as in the kind performed at birthday parties.

They are already biased against her character for clear reasons. I'd advice you not to waste your time checking any more of these reactions, they're all pretty trash, with the analytical level of a toddler. They just like to explosions and shiny lights.

I literally am clueless what you don't like about Sabine. It's the way Dave wrote it. It's fine. She's being shown as a conflicting person who is leading to issues that must be resolved.

I like your reactions but this was annoying! Really? Thrawn's hairline? Also, Ezra meeting Sabine was perfect, they just picked up where they left. Weren't they always teasing each other? Why would they try to find a beach so they can run to each other's arms like in a romantic drama from the 70s?

The soul of this episode is about Sabine's 1) temporary reprieve from the consequences of what she has done, and 2) not just her physical journey to Ezra, but her spiritual one. This is accomplished by her gradual exposure to where he has called home for maybe thirteen years, and the extended family he has had all those years-a family which is very Ezra in the first place. That journey was a delight to watch, and I am grateful and relieved Filoni, et. al. showed artistic restraint by not rushing it.
This is not to argue against her having been weakly written earlier in the series. I am honestly ambivalent on that right now. I suppose later episodes could put the earlier rendering of her in context. But whatever my previous irritations were, I loved this so much.
Should've put some of those GTA online/Subway Surfers clip while watching the show cuz I swear your attention span & the way you pick up information on display are horrible.
I mean there all great and written great dont really see problem unless you try to make it a problem lol cause way she written makes sense and way she delivers fits, also you need these things to happen to get an actual story going saying "oh skip this no one cares" is where you get actual bad writeing and alot ppl like sabine cause she doesnt make perfect choices which is human, also her find those creatures with symbols makes most sense unless you wanna spend 3 hours of her walking around lol

Thrawn & Ezra's introduction scenes were a sight to see!
After every Star Wars episode airs I come to this channel excepting to see your immediate reaction and I've always enjoyed them, until now. What's going on? You picked on it too much.
It's because they think they can write a better show with the knowledge in media producing. You could tell by how they nit pick on the writing of every character. They think they know so much. But why don't they try to make a show to better the show that they are trashing on.
Enoch wasn't in the Thrawn trilogy if memory serves.
It is always interesting to watch people with different points of view. Personally I love the show. But your constant criticism is soooo annoying. The two of you should get married so you can be miserable together.

Hiding their feelings with a joke is what Ezra and Sabine did 99% of the time for four seasons of a show. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinions, and pretending to like something would not be cool--but it seems like you go into every episode "annoyed" and choosing to be negative. It's not the differing opinions that is making me stop tuning in to your reactions, it's the pervasive negativity and hypocrisy. Your descriptions of Sabine here really fit these reactions. Also, a decent amount of the things you two question and criticize were explained in the show/episode and you had just missed them. I'll check back when the next SW show/movie comes out.

sabine is a waste of screen time. don't let the softies get to either of you'll. Sabine contributed nothin? lol. The enemy wouldn’t be on perridia without her,. Not saying that she’s good for the show just saying she has played an important roll as half antagonist and half protagonist. Looks to me like she’s conflicted after she thinks Ahsoka is dead… and she will play a larger roll later when she convinces the mandalorians to join the war that’s coming . Thrawn will return,, it’s inevitable. And when he does he will unite the remaining imperial factions

Glad you guys gave an honest reaction. The other reactions on youtube are laughable. Grown men crying when fatty Thrawn walked on screen. The fat smurf is not remotely scary. Some of the worst writing I've seen in a TV show. Why didn't they just kill Sabine and leave Ezra on the plant? Were there no script editors to point out plot points which don't work or make any sense.
If you actually knew how Thrawn is you would know he sent Baylon and Shin after Sabine and Ezra to be sure they’re either killed or distracted so Ezra doesn’t mess with his plans to leave. Thrawn doesn’t leave wildcards on the table if he knows about them. Thrawn also isn’t supposed to be physically imposing other than his eyes. His danger comes from what he can do. “Worst writing on a TV show ever”? I’m curious to how many times you l’ve said that about a show because the dramatics behind it are extreme. There are definitely worse shows with worse writing out there. Maybe stop throwing a tantrum long enough to realize this show isn’t that bad or maybe this show isn’t for you.

Umm, Obviously he has yet to find Ezra and is using Sabine to flush him out and kill him. How did you miss this? Your thoughts on how the story should go would not only make no sense, but wouldn't be worth a show.

No searching, no deductions. No intel. Just randomly wandering around. Laughably bad writing. He could have left Ezra on the Planet and killed Sabine as he is leaving the Galaxy and doesn't care about either of them. Guess they didn't emloy a script editor to point out daft writing.

Endless walking and walking and walking. Dead air (nothing happening). Idiot plots. Trying to make Sabine a Jedi, when she clearly isn't. Light sabres not killing someone when there are stabbed in the stomach with a 25000C plama sword, again. Annoying character in Sabine. Thrawn being as scary as a fat smurf. Finding Ezra within 10 minutes when Thrawn couldn't find him in 10 years with a whole battle fleet. Need I go on.

Thank you guys for being honest and genuine about your reaction, while every other youtuber is reacting to this hot garbage like it's the best SW thing ever. A complete shame on Disney for ruining SW turning it into a Netflix and chill show. Also, no creativity, pulling straight from Samurai warriors all season long, light saber choreography, armor, etc. Rock guys like Jawas and Samuraiesque people like Tusken raisers.
