You cooked hard with this Trinity... although it pains me to not play terror incarnate anymore, I can't deny that having an entire throne combo off lotus is CRAZY. That combo was magnificent.
I think i will still plays terror incarnate i just love the yubel line and i cannot see myself playing without terror but great combos pretty clever use of rage, please shows us the decklist 🙌

I love your reasoning behind why you cut terror but like anyone! It comes down to person preference and what you feel you perform with. I try and push that meta envelope as best as I can but I still to this day run terror and ultimate for that grind game. I haven’t found too many inconsistency, and If I do draw both for some reason I just make a turn 1 phantom and carry on ☺️ But keep doing you my guy and keep exploring possibilities and I know there will be a lot here backing and supporting you 😊
EDIT: you caught it right after, never mind. 8:15 one thing to mention here is that you can trigger Necroquip Princess here. A lot of times people forget it actually has an effect. On res of adding tractus you get a free draw
Don't let the negative comments get you down man! Yubel as an archetype is an anime deck so it's naturally going to attract certain players who just want the deck to be as anime as possible... daring to say that's not optimal, triggers a very emotional reaction :') Clean combos as always!

I am ultimately sorry to hear, that you have to Deal with such terrible comments like the one you've shown. Its always possible to argue with the propper amouth of Respekt, but such comments are bullshit :( you are an amazing help in the topic of yubel, i am totally gratefull for what you do here, and after seeing whats possible here i am definetly willing to cut Terror Incarnate. I try to run a 46 Main deck cards list (including called by and crossout), so now i would have 45 which could run a bit smoother.
Yeah you can still do a lot even if you're not running Terror Incarnate but it's sooo worth to include in your decklist in my opinion. Even when you draw it you can contact fuse it for an early Phantom which feels super good to do. I think we can just argue that it's fine to side it going second btw. On the other hand I don't know how to feel about Necroquip and Aerial Eater. At the moment I'm not running Necroquip and I'm still doing super good, I think in Yubel is kinda win more since DBB and Gates are basically it. Aerial Eater is still good for me but I feel like Beatrice would be more flexible in the future, there are sure a lot of options right now for the deck
yep there are a lot of different variants of the deck! and i think necroquip is good because it does more than just help with the DBD and Opening combo! it transforms one Samsara into a full throne combo, which can be very helpful! :) and yea, here and there its okay to draw terror (If you go first!) the problem with that argument is, that you could use that on ANY Atk 0/0 fiend monster. even if you can go early into phantom of yubel from hand, its not optimal to do so since you lose a lot of card advantage! especially if you go second, terror is very bad if you draw it! here and there it can be useful, i agree! but im not sure if its worth it to run for that reason BUT : the most important thing about YOUR deck is that YOU have fun with it! :) so if you have success and you like terror, just keep it in the deck!

These are so great lines, i would never cook this on my own. You really scratching the ceiling of the deck, and i hope i can practice enough to see those lines in actual games. Although my take is on Terror incarnate: While the whole combo is doable without it, i still wouldn't be comfortable to cut it , because this is the combo when you are uninterrupted. It's so good to get +1 or +2 body early on, it really matters in the long run. If you get interrupted, and later on you pop the yubel and you get +1 body, that could make a difference between a fiendsmith combo vs nothing. You can basically say something like "you can do the full snake eye combo without Oak". And while this is true, it is a good extender, if you get interrupted.
It's very sad to hear that. From what I read in the community tab everyone (including you) was a bit sad to cut the only ULTI Yubel card or joking about it. While I do understand "pet deck logic" there is no way I would immediately dismiss something when it actually works and makes the deck more consistent. This is why I was telling you to look at Solemn's regional list in the first place (running junk for experimentation is a whole different topic I'm guilty of :) ) In my book you are a great Yubel player, competing with JadenBR as my favorites. Especially the small notes (yama 5th summon, recycle DBB since CSB is a brick, chain link orders) always make me smile. Your videos have actual competitive value (a friend going to EUWCQ watched every video at least 5 times when we weren't playtesting together, although he went with Tenpai in the end) in a sea of wombo combo unbeatable endboards that respect no handtrap and burn every resource. However about the current deck being "Yubel", in my opinion it's a nearly identical case to "Rokkets" and "Dragon Link". So I prefer to differentiate the builds by thinking of "Yubel" as the control build utilizing Protector, while the Fiendsmith version as "Fiend Link" (actually d*v*l link which sound soo cool/edgy but it gets deleted in the comments) "Best doggie he will never leave us" ALWAYS DRAWING THE UNCHAINED TRAP. This is 1000000% player bias but Terror was always hidden in the deck compared to how many times I drew the traps lol Can't wait to see a the more "traditional" version as well as the extra deck for 0 Terrors. I know you'll hate this but I also cut Apo (in addition to Varudras) for a going second option of Chaos Angel (swaps with Accesscode but popping 1 or banishing fiendsmith links hurt so I stick to Angel more often)

Hmm, so this is essentially just trading an easy varudras for a Desirae as well as a 2 mat apollousa instead of a 3 (I think) It looks very solid but I’m interested to see it in action and how it performs against different ht’s as while the endboards are similar, the lines are pretty different. I would caution against saying things like “this board is unbreakable / unbeatable” as we all know any board can be broken by the right cards. Looking forward to the deck list
You’re right! It was a hyperbole, I basically wanted to say "it can’t get much better than this“ But evenly/dark ruler + droplet for example beats almost every endboard! And you still can go for varudras if you want, it’s just that I like Caesar a bit better post fiendsmith :)
First combo loses to 1 ash on the spirit but logically no one uses ash there but i prefer to keep terror in its another body to help with my combo through hand traps

yeah sam and i talked about cutting terror a bit ago! and i watched it an hour ago, tbh - jesses hand was INSANE going second droplet pitch transaction rollback, a good target for it and a monster! and then unicorn was also insane, 1 of those cards not in the hand and it wouldnt be enough
I do like these combo videos that give alternative ways to play the deck. if there is a combo that works perfectly fine without terror I don't see a problem with it. I don't get why people in the TCG don't like to innovate that much for a deck that's supposedly "solved" due to the OCG when the deck has TCG exclusives that changes the dynamic. once the new TCG exclusive fusions were announced I was hoping people experimented more but a lot of people still try to copy OCG lists/combos. the new fusions are insane. I play through several interrupts on key cards i.e. Negated Dark beckoning (with veil/imperm) and yama but still ended on rage, apo, phantom and Pain. (this is with a Fiendsmith Engraverless deck that only uses closed sky and sequence) it's very hard to push for new combos if you aren't a very known name in the general YGO community. I'm still a huge fan of Chronicle plays, mostly to revive OG yubel but when ever possible I do like to search Super poly which is now pretty good against any deck that plays the fiendsmith engine. if I didn't go through aerial Eater on my turn I just super poly their sequence and engraver/lacrima/desirai. or go into loving defender since that card will never leave my extra deck. the deck is very Free style and doesn't have to go out of it's way to do other combos to change the endboard.

At the end of the day it's okay to disagree with someone's deck building choices. It doesn't mean people have to be rude about it. I really like the synergy with necroquip triggering off of the engraver. That was cool! I think the ceiling of boards you can make with terror incarnate to be slightly better, but at the cost of a brick. The endboards here are only slightly weaker, but seem much more consistent.

This is how ive felt this entire time, i am glad i have some assurances that you are not running it now either. my thoughts as well, do we need 3 engravers? or can we get away with 2. dropping terror and 1 engraver we could line ourselves up with a thrusts or some other type of hand trap, or any play really

Fair enough from a combo standpoint it much objectively better however let say worst case scenario ur vsing tenpai which is able to get their field spell out and summon the synchro that off ur entire field (can’t remeber the name of it) what happens then since no of they Yubel will float to the other?
@@partyboy1340 you’re right that can happen but that is very specific and usually they don’t play that, they go for samurai destroyer exactly to play out the fieldspell. I don’t think it’s worth it to run terror just for that case!

Tbh this cooks hard enough to make me want to learn this formless yubel version over my theme deck style. I like all versions of the deck, but it's obvious that this one is far more competitive, if not a little harder to pilot in some niche scenarios, I'm not sure. I've gotten to Diamond on Dueling Nexus with my Yubel deck, and platinum on YGO Omega, finally figuring out how to play the game again lmao I've noticed that on recent tournament tops for Yubel, Archfiend Eccentrick is in many top 10 and higher player's side decks, what do you think about the card? It's spell/trap destruction searchable off Tract and is a light fiend. I think it's especially useful in the Runick matchup, but even having it in main deck for testing purposes, I haven't been given many chances to utilize it. When I need it I can't find it and when I don't it's just there vibing lmao I could see it shining really well in those hands where you draw Lurrie and Engraver/Tract though, the idea of a searchable S/T deletion that fits into the type and attribute of the deck seems good.

Okay, this is strong enough to cut TI in most matchups. The issue is Tenpai. TI is an important lynchpin in that matchup to enhance your floating. Maybe it moves to the side.
Terror can 100% help in the tenpai match up, the problem is that they can out the yubel on the field via ways that stop you from activating throne. Often times they go into samurai destroyer or go into the lvl 10 before going into the BP
So quick question regarding the nightmare throne one card combo. Assuming we played Terror, wouldn't having the extra body open up more plays especially if you already have grave squirmer to continue comboing like in the old combos? Also, I play Yubel in master duel which ofc doesn't have fiendsmith yet. Would the same combos be doable without Terror assuming no fiendsmith? Like earlier instead of going into closed heaven you coud go straight into Yama to get the best doggie.
Extra body helps you play through hand traps also terror can help you get to spirit in some weird plays but would need to test irl without terror in deck also
Could you compile all your Yubel FS videos into one mega combo video? I would really appreciate it, as it’s a little annoying going back and forth among videos. @@locotaco360 it's better to make a watchlist with the combos and compare the variations between different builds. This will help you not only deeply understand WHY he does the lines that way, but can also lead you to experiment with your own choices.

Is this the same ED as before? I like some parts but i still find it tough to cut chaos angel atm and to a lesser extent varudras, but mostly chaos angel since it's been pivotal in alot of situations for me.

Hey I wanted to ask you this since you’re the Yubel expert. I picked up Yubel due to the ability to Super Poly the entire board away and summon Loving Defender with Nightmare Pain. It’s a lot of fun for me. I’m currently running Fiendsmith Yubel with it and I like it but I’d love to see how you would do it. Is there a way to play Fiendsmith Yubel optimally with Super Poly as an option or do you think it’s not good enough? Thank you for your videos I learned everything I know about the deck from you. Short answer, I HIGHLY doubt it. Long answer, let's first think about extra deck space here. In order to run the fiendsmith engine optimally you'd be playing 1 moon, 1 requiem, 1 sequence, 1 aerial eater, 1 Necroquip, 1 desirae, 1 lacrima. That's already 7 slots. Now add in 2 phantom for 9, 1 Apollousa for 10, 1 S:P for 11, 1 Yama for 12, 1 soul of rage for 13, and 1 Varudras for 14. That's already 99% of your extra deck with very little room to budge... anything you take out would definitely hurt you, and super poly becomes a lot weaker if you're not playing garura and mudragon as well so you'd need to find 2 cards to cut in order to fit 1 loving defender 1 garura and 1 mudragon... I just don't think it's very realistic to have enough room in the ED to run the cards that make super poly good, not even mentioning the main deck as well. But at the end of the day, you should be the one deciding how you like to play the deck the most. It's always possible to find alternate combo lines that maybe prioritize setting eternal favorite and ending with an extra yubel on field instead of making a bigger end board with links and stuff.

I have ultimately decided to run SPoly with just Loving Defender due to its ease of summoning but I wanted to ask someone who is ultimately more experienced with the deck how he’d do it and what his thoughts are, since I’m not too good with the deck and I don’t have insane amounts of time to lab it all out.

I agree with sandstorm here! i dont think its optimal because we are VERY tight on the extra deck. the most you could do is eternal favorite and just put in 1 Loving defender if you like that card but i dont think with fiendsmith its possible to run super poly effectively sadly :(
@@DJStriker106 funny you ask this because I play a blind second Yubel Fiendsmith and make a side deck that can pivot to go first. I love the super poly aspect and cracking boards. In the extra deck I have the Fiendsmiths except Desira (that’s in side deck) along with Caesar & Beatrice in side board. Also I don’t play Apollousa in it because the goal is to win going second, and if I choose to go first I can set up a solid board with Beatrice + Blue Tears in addition to normal combo I’ve been playing it on and it’s seriously fun and got a lot of W’s!

So I have recently resolved to minimise my interaction with people on the internet at this point in my life because for the most part many people demonstrate that they are just maladjusted and discourse with them isn’t worth much more than a headache. @@Tonio924 You can still make varudras without terror because terror is lvl 11 anyways! but i think there are arguments to cut it post fiendsmith and instead run caesar! sometimes its awkard to go into varudras or to end on it :)

recently i started to play 3 and ending on more phantoms can make the endboard more annoying to deal with! but i try to go into a second phantom often times mid combo so if people hold imperm + Nibiru, it doesnt work anymore since now we have a second phantom on board!
@@jayfleming1177 due to Throne never floating into Terror, you just recycle Phantoms. For example in greedier lines (if Trinity had CBTG/Crossout in hand) he could have linked away the first Phantom then use Squirmer to revive Spirit and Sharvara pop would get Yubel + recycle Phantom so that he can summon Phantom again without draining the extra deck. The only benefit of Terror is that it gives you the +1 body to go into Varudras by not linking away Yubel that early, and more importantly a double Phantom play early on (as Trinity said for Imperm/Nib combo) but these cases are so situational that you will brick more times on Terror than doing those lines.
Please stop cooking ever since i added fiendsmith i cant keep up with all the new combos, so many different lines and builds great combo though you dont even waste a phantom on it

The advantage of Desirae is that's recyclable and easier to take something with it when the opponent removes it. In the past before Phantom I felt a lot of times needing a 2nd Varudras, then with Phantom the deck used it to secure the Accesscode OTK going second. Omni negates are generally very good, but Desirae is much more versatile. You can even negate your own Spirit to crash it then float into Yubel and OTK that way.
@@babrad thats the thing, I can summon both with a version of the deck Trinity was playing when we first heard about the fiendsmith cards. Along with dijinn buster, 3* Apollosua, and ceasar. The end board seems weaker now.
@@lilpimp994 if you play a hand alone sure. But this isn't happening in a meta that has shifted to Bystials, Charmy and generally 15+ handtraps. So the entire reasoning behind the use of Fiendsmiths is not only to connect every engine (even 2 Squirmers give you full combo) but more importantly to have a big push when you get handtrapped 2 times. At that point Fiendsmith will trade with 1 card in their hand (Desirae or Caesar), then Phantom can potentially deal with another (monster negate) and finally Rage into SP will deal the last 2. That's the "gameplan", with Apollo or Caesar/Desirae being the bonus interruptions BTW I would suggest against 3 material Apollousa, because not only Talent-take can be devastating but also people have shifted to boardbreakers so you either lose it to removal (Raigeki Storm etc) or worse it gets stolen (Change of Heart/Mind Control). 2 mat Apo gives you the opportunity to use it once, then the opponent having a single use only. Varudras has become very strong going second for me but still with 3 Phantoms it's a bit easier to go for early Chaos Angel and bait stuff. It's been a while I have noticed the deck struggling to clear boards and when Pain isn't available for the cheese otk, I just can't break a board enough to take control of the game. This however happens more against rogue than snakes.
@@babrad I was generally speaking about the strength of the end board uninterrupted. With Dies Irae on the field triple tactics/change of heart wouldn’t be an issue for 3 mat Apollo. But I understand the gist of what you are saying.
I can't do it. I suck and need the extra monster 😭😭 If I can make a decent end board with just one Engraver on the deck, since I only have one at the moment, I guess I can do this too.
I think even if the deck gets a hit it wouldn’t be too much to kill The deck also I would not be happy if they completely kill yubel it is just amazing terror incarnate as much as I love og terror it is a brick sometimes but then it’s not so even if it’s gone I agree that yubel will still be amazing
we have to wait and see for the banlist BUT if the banlist hits Tenpai and snake eyes equally (they kinda have to) i think yubel is still VERY strong, even if it gets hit. yubel is a deck that has a lot of different play-styles and is highly adaptive so the banlist is kinda exciting!
@@truekingmasteryu-gi-oh1447 don't worry Phantom is selling that Battles of Legends set since Magia was very badly received by the community and the deck is very new. But it is strong so I believe the Sacred Beast engine will be hit instead. About the next next list however (near December) I fear for Phantom going to 1 if we become the best deck.

I love your reasoning behind why you cut terror but like anyone! It comes down to person preference and what you feel you perform with. I try and push that meta envelope as best as I can but I still to this day run terror and ultimate for that grind game. I haven’t found too many inconsistency, and If I do draw both for some reason I just make a turn 1 phantom and carry on ☺️
But keep doing you my guy and keep exploring possibilities and I know there will be a lot here backing and supporting you 😊

8:15 one thing to mention here is that you can trigger Necroquip Princess here. A lot of times people forget it actually has an effect. On res of adding tractus you get a free draw

I am ultimately sorry to hear, that you have to Deal with such terrible comments like the one you've shown. Its always possible to argue with the propper amouth of Respekt, but such comments are bullshit :( you are an amazing help in the topic of yubel, i am totally gratefull for what you do here, and after seeing whats possible here i am definetly willing to cut Terror Incarnate. I try to run a 46 Main deck cards list (including called by and crossout), so now i would have 45 which could run a bit smoother.

Yeah you can still do a lot even if you're not running Terror Incarnate but it's sooo worth to include in your decklist in my opinion. Even when you draw it you can contact fuse it for an early Phantom which feels super good to do. I think we can just argue that it's fine to side it going second btw. On the other hand I don't know how to feel about Necroquip and Aerial Eater. At the moment I'm not running Necroquip and I'm still doing super good, I think in Yubel is kinda win more since DBB and Gates are basically it. Aerial Eater is still good for me but I feel like Beatrice would be more flexible in the future, there are sure a lot of options right now for the deck
yep there are a lot of different variants of the deck!
and i think necroquip is good because it does more than just help with the DBD and Opening combo!
it transforms one Samsara into a full throne combo, which can be very helpful! :)
and yea, here and there its okay to draw terror (If you go first!) the problem with that argument is, that you could use that on ANY Atk 0/0 fiend monster.
even if you can go early into phantom of yubel from hand, its not optimal to do so since you lose a lot of card advantage!
especially if you go second, terror is very bad if you draw it!

BUT : the most important thing about YOUR deck is that YOU have fun with it! :)

These are so great lines, i would never cook this on my own. You really scratching the ceiling of the deck, and i hope i can practice enough to see those lines in actual games.
Although my take is on Terror incarnate:
While the whole combo is doable without it, i still wouldn't be comfortable to cut it , because this is the combo when you are uninterrupted.
It's so good to get +1 or +2 body early on, it really matters in the long run. If you get interrupted, and later on you pop the yubel and you get +1 body, that could make a difference between a fiendsmith combo vs nothing.
You can basically say something like "you can do the full snake eye combo without Oak". And while this is true, it is a good extender, if you get interrupted.
It's very sad to hear that. From what I read in the community tab everyone (including you) was a bit sad to cut the only ULTI Yubel card or joking about it. While I do understand "pet deck logic" there is no way I would immediately dismiss something when it actually works and makes the deck more consistent. This is why I was telling you to look at Solemn's regional list in the first place (running junk for experimentation is a whole different topic I'm guilty of :) )
In my book you are a great Yubel player, competing with JadenBR as my favorites. Especially the small notes (yama 5th summon, recycle DBB since CSB is a brick, chain link orders) always make me smile. Your videos have actual competitive value (a friend going to EUWCQ watched every video at least 5 times when we weren't playtesting together, although he went with Tenpai in the end) in a sea of wombo combo unbeatable endboards that respect no handtrap and burn every resource.
However about the current deck being "Yubel", in my opinion it's a nearly identical case to "Rokkets" and "Dragon Link". So I prefer to differentiate the builds by thinking of "Yubel" as the control build utilizing Protector, while the Fiendsmith version as "Fiend Link" (actually d*v*l link which sound soo cool/edgy but it gets deleted in the comments)
"Best doggie he will never leave us" ALWAYS DRAWING THE UNCHAINED TRAP. This is 1000000% player bias but Terror was always hidden in the deck compared to how many times I drew the traps lol
Can't wait to see a the more "traditional" version as well as the extra deck for 0 Terrors. I know you'll hate this but I also cut Apo (in addition to Varudras) for a going second option of Chaos Angel (swaps with Accesscode but popping 1 or banishing fiendsmith links hurt so I stick to Angel more often)

Hmm, so this is essentially just trading an easy varudras for a Desirae as well as a 2 mat apollousa instead of a 3 (I think)
It looks very solid but I’m interested to see it in action and how it performs against different ht’s as while the endboards are similar, the lines are pretty different.
I would caution against saying things like “this board is unbreakable / unbeatable” as we all know any board can be broken by the right cards.

droplet pitch transaction rollback, a good target for it and a monster!
and then unicorn was also insane, 1 of those cards not in the hand and it wouldnt be enough
I do like these combo videos that give alternative ways to play the deck. if there is a combo that works perfectly fine without terror I don't see a problem with it. I don't get why people in the TCG don't like to innovate that much for a deck that's supposedly "solved" due to the OCG when the deck has TCG exclusives that changes the dynamic. once the new TCG exclusive fusions were announced I was hoping people experimented more but a lot of people still try to copy OCG lists/combos.
the new fusions are insane. I play through several interrupts on key cards i.e. Negated Dark beckoning (with veil/imperm) and yama but still ended on rage, apo, phantom and Pain. (this is with a Fiendsmith Engraverless deck that only uses closed sky and sequence)
it's very hard to push for new combos if you aren't a very known name in the general YGO community. I'm still a huge fan of Chronicle plays, mostly to revive OG yubel but when ever possible I do like to search Super poly which is now pretty good against any deck that plays the fiendsmith engine. if I didn't go through aerial Eater on my turn I just super poly their sequence and engraver/lacrima/desirai. or go into loving defender since that card will never leave my extra deck.
the deck is very Free style and doesn't have to go out of it's way to do other combos to change the endboard.

At the end of the day it's okay to disagree with someone's deck building choices. It doesn't mean people have to be rude about it.
I really like the synergy with necroquip triggering off of the engraver. That was cool! I think the ceiling of boards you can make with terror incarnate to be slightly better, but at the cost of a brick. The endboards here are only slightly weaker, but seem much more consistent.

This is how ive felt this entire time, i am glad i have some assurances that you are not running it now either. my thoughts as well, do we need 3 engravers? or can we get away with 2. dropping terror and 1 engraver we could line ourselves up with a thrusts or some other type of hand trap, or any play really

if its optimal, im not sure - engraver can be crazy strong but with droll, it can hurt a lot

Fair enough from a combo standpoint it much objectively better however let say worst case scenario ur vsing tenpai which is able to get their field spell out and summon the synchro that off ur entire field (can’t remeber the name of it) what happens then since no of they Yubel will float to the other?
@@partyboy1340 you’re right that can happen but that is very specific and usually they don’t play that, they go for samurai destroyer exactly to play out the fieldspell.
I don’t think it’s worth it to run terror just for that case!
If you open throne beckoning you can use throne to make phantom and do the full combo off beckoning

Tbh this cooks hard enough to make me want to learn this formless yubel version over my theme deck style. I like all versions of the deck, but it's obvious that this one is far more competitive, if not a little harder to pilot in some niche scenarios, I'm not sure.
I've gotten to Diamond on Dueling Nexus with my Yubel deck, and platinum on YGO Omega, finally figuring out how to play the game again lmao
I've noticed that on recent tournament tops for Yubel, Archfiend Eccentrick is in many top 10 and higher player's side decks, what do you think about the card? It's spell/trap destruction searchable off Tract and is a light fiend. I think it's especially useful in the Runick matchup, but even having it in main deck for testing purposes, I haven't been given many chances to utilize it. When I need it I can't find it and when I don't it's just there vibing lmao I could see it shining really well in those hands where you draw Lurrie and Engraver/Tract though, the idea of a searchable S/T deletion that fits into the type and attribute of the deck seems good.
They should make retrained versions of terror incarnate and the ultimate nightmare

Okay, this is strong enough to cut TI in most matchups.
The issue is Tenpai.
TI is an important lynchpin in that matchup to enhance your floating.
Maybe it moves to the side.
Terror can 100% help in the tenpai match up, the problem is that they can out the yubel on the field via ways that stop you from activating throne.
Often times they go into samurai destroyer or go into the lvl 10 before going into the BP
So quick question regarding the nightmare throne one card combo. Assuming we played Terror, wouldn't having the extra body open up more plays especially if you already have grave squirmer to continue comboing like in the old combos? Also, I play Yubel in master duel which ofc doesn't have fiendsmith yet. Would the same combos be doable without Terror assuming no fiendsmith? Like earlier instead of going into closed heaven you coud go straight into Yama to get the best doggie.
Extra body helps you play through hand traps also terror can help you get to spirit in some weird plays but would need to test irl without terror in deck also
Could you compile all your Yubel FS videos into one mega combo video? I would really appreciate it, as it’s a little annoying going back and forth among videos. Is this the same ED as before? I like some parts but i still find it tough to cut chaos angel atm and to a lesser extent varudras, but mostly chaos angel since it's been pivotal in alot of situations for me.

Hey I wanted to ask you this since you’re the Yubel expert. I picked up Yubel due to the ability to Super Poly the entire board away and summon Loving Defender with Nightmare Pain. It’s a lot of fun for me. I’m currently running Fiendsmith Yubel with it and I like it but I’d love to see how you would do it. Is there a way to play Fiendsmith Yubel optimally with Super Poly as an option or do you think it’s not good enough? Thank you for your videos I learned everything I know about the deck from you. Good luck on all your future endeavors and I hope you continue making Yubel videos and having fun with the deck!
Short answer, I HIGHLY doubt it.
Long answer, let's first think about extra deck space here. In order to run the fiendsmith engine optimally you'd be playing 1 moon, 1 requiem, 1 sequence, 1 aerial eater, 1 Necroquip, 1 desirae, 1 lacrima. That's already 7 slots. Now add in 2 phantom for 9, 1 Apollousa for 10, 1 S:P for 11, 1 Yama for 12, 1 soul of rage for 13, and 1 Varudras for 14. That's already 99% of your extra deck with very little room to budge... anything you take out would definitely hurt you, and super poly becomes a lot weaker if you're not playing garura and mudragon as well so you'd need to find 2 cards to cut in order to fit 1 loving defender 1 garura and 1 mudragon... I just don't think it's very realistic to have enough room in the ED to run the cards that make super poly good, not even mentioning the main deck as well.
But at the end of the day, you should be the one deciding how you like to play the deck the most. It's always possible to find alternate combo lines that maybe prioritize setting eternal favorite and ending with an extra yubel on field instead of making a bigger end board with links and stuff.

I have ultimately decided to run SPoly with just Loving Defender due to its ease of summoning but I wanted to ask someone who is ultimately more experienced with the deck how he’d do it and what his thoughts are, since I’m not too good with the deck and I don’t have insane amounts of time to lab it all out.

i dont think its optimal because we are VERY tight on the extra deck.
the most you could do is eternal favorite and just put in 1 Loving defender if you like that card but i dont think with fiendsmith its possible to run super poly effectively sadly :(
@@DJStriker106 funny you ask this because I play a blind second Yubel Fiendsmith and make a side deck that can pivot to go first.
I love the super poly aspect and cracking boards. In the extra deck I have the Fiendsmiths except Desira (that’s in side deck) along with Caesar & Beatrice in side board. Also I don’t play Apollousa in it because the goal is to win going second, and if I choose to go first I can set up a solid board with Beatrice + Blue Tears in addition to normal combo
I’ve been playing it on and it’s seriously fun and got a lot of W’s!

So I have recently resolved to minimise my interaction with people on the internet at this point in my life because for the most part many people demonstrate that they are just maladjusted and discourse with them isn’t worth much more than a headache. But I really have to say something here. Please ignore people talking nonsense to you. I hadn’t played since the event we aren’t supposed talk about from 2019. Friends convinced me to come back to the game recently and I can confidently say that without this page and your content I wouldn’t have the proficiency I do with this deck. Am I the best player? recently i started to play 3 and ending on more phantoms can make the endboard more annoying to deal with!
but i try to go into a second phantom often times mid combo so if people hold imperm + Nibiru, it doesnt work anymore since now we have a second phantom on board!

@@jayfleming1177 due to Throne never floating into Terror, you just recycle Phantoms. For example in greedier lines (if Trinity had CBTG/Crossout in hand) he could have linked away the first Phantom then use Squirmer to revive Spirit and Sharvara pop would get Yubel + recycle Phantom so that he can summon Phantom again without draining the extra deck.
The only benefit of Terror is that it gives you the +1 body to go into Varudras by not linking away Yubel that early, and more importantly a double Phantom play early on (as Trinity said for Imperm/Nib combo) but these cases are so situational that you will brick more times on Terror than doing those lines.
1 card combo shouldn't have 8 interruptions while being nibiru proof..

i mean you could still go for varudras, i just think that post fiendsmith it can be awkard sometimes to go into/end on it, so i try to adapt every combo to end on caesar instead!
The advantage of Desirae is that's recyclable and easier to take something with it when the opponent removes it. In the past before Phantom I felt a lot of times needing a 2nd Varudras, then with Phantom the deck used it to secure the Accesscode OTK going second. Omni negates are generally very good, but Desirae is much more versatile. You can even negate your own Spirit to crash it then float into Yubel and OTK that way.
@@babrad thats the thing, I can summon both with a version of the deck Trinity was playing when we first heard about the fiendsmith cards. Along with dijinn buster, 3* Apollosua, and ceasar. The end board seems weaker now.
@@lilpimp994 if you play a hand alone sure. But this isn't happening in a meta that has shifted to Bystials, Charmy and generally 15+ handtraps. So the entire reasoning behind the use of Fiendsmiths is not only to connect every engine (even 2 Squirmers give you full combo) but more importantly to have a big push when you get handtrapped 2 times.
At that point Fiendsmith will trade with 1 card in their hand (Desirae or Caesar), then Phantom can potentially deal with another (monster negate) and finally Rage into SP will deal the last 2. That's the "gameplan", with Apollo or Caesar/Desirae being the bonus interruptions
BTW I would suggest against 3 material Apollousa, because not only Talent-take can be devastating but also people have shifted to boardbreakers so you either lose it to removal (Raigeki Storm etc) or worse it gets stolen (Change of Heart/Mind Control). 2 mat Apo gives you the opportunity to use it once, then the opponent having a single use only.
Varudras has become very strong going second for me but still with 3 Phantoms it's a bit easier to go for early Chaos Angel and bait stuff. It's been a while I have noticed the deck struggling to clear boards and when Pain isn't available for the cheese otk, I just can't break a board enough to take control of the game. This however happens more against rogue than snakes.
@@babrad I was generally speaking about the strength of the end board uninterrupted. With Dies Irae on the field triple tactics/change of heart wouldn’t be an issue for 3 mat Apollo. But I understand the gist of what you are saying.

The deck also I would not be happy if they completely kill yubel it is just amazing terror incarnate as much as I love og terror it is a brick sometimes but then it’s not so even if it’s gone I agree that yubel will still be amazing
we have to wait and see for the banlist BUT if the banlist hits Tenpai and snake eyes equally (they kinda have to) i think yubel is still VERY strong, even if it gets hit.
yubel is a deck that has a lot of different play-styles and is highly adaptive so the banlist is kinda exciting!

@@truekingmasteryu-gi-oh1447 don't worry Phantom is selling that Battles of Legends set since Magia was very badly received by the community and the deck is very new. But it is strong so I believe the Sacred Beast engine will be hit instead. About the next next list however (near December) I fear for Phantom going to 1 if we become the best deck.
