THE SUMS! the greatest band of all time. I've seen these dudes live 20 times. When they release thier canadian tour dates ill be taking a leave of absence from work to follow them around the country and see every single show! Sad to see you go, but stoked to see you go out with bang!
Such a crunchy tune. My Word, Sum41 you have no clue how you're helping an entire generation world-wide hold onto their youth which makes this world suck a bit less.
I'm gonna miss these guys. They were part of some awesome times which sadly came to an end rather quickly. Not many of those bands are left today, but Sum 41 definitely aged the best of them all and 27 years is one hell of a run!
blink 182 is right there with them. blinks new album is one of my favorites. I jam out to it every day with my kids. Landmines by sum41 is my 2 year old sons favorite song and he requests it every time. I feel blessed to still be making new memories to new songs by these bands
Sum 41 has been my favorite band for 23 years now. I’ll miss them so much when they hang it up, but I’m really grateful for this final double album and tour. Killed it tonight! 🤘🏻
I've been listening to this band since I was a kid. The music they put out has resonated with me and evolved along with my age in life. I'm 40 years old now, and it brings a tear to my eye to know that they are ending this journey. However I'm very grateful for all the amazing songs that they have released, and also very excited to see them only for the second time when they come to Atlanta. Godspeed gentleman.
I "discovered" these guys at the age of.... wait for it..... 41 😀 (Remembered them from back in the day but it didn't click with me at the time). Since then I've bought all their albums and seen them live probably 10 times. They are a great live band!
Similar story here. I dug the singles back in the late 90s but lost track of them until they played a festival I was at about 7 years ago. Blew my mind how energetic and tight they were, and I've been following them since. This tour will be my third and presumably final time seeing them. I wish I'd caught on sooner.
Sum 41 was the first band I ever heard, still waiting was the song and I heard it on a Pokémon amv video from over 15 years ago, I was maybe 4-5 when I heard it and I immediately fell in love, a couple years later I heard the hell song then I found out who the actual band was and my love for punk was born, I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for these guys and listening to them and even being lucky enough to have met the entire band in person, I would give anything to see them play one last time live and it breaks my heart to see them break up but I’m also so happy for the literal decades that they blessed our ears and our hearts, I Love you sum 41! SCUMFUCKS NEVER DIE✊
Even if their new pop punk single ain't exactly the same as the classics, their blasting energy & performance get to live up to the hype. 10/10 still rocking on top notch, nice one Sum 41.
@@dylanr.7760 Yeah sure, I mean it barely scratches the grandiose level of pop punk that the Underclass Hero album achieved, but still they got it, and they rip it live
I’m really gonna miss this band. They aren’t my favorite, but they are the band that I’ve seen live the most. I’m gonna see them one last time in New York this year. They will always hold a very special place in my heart
Respect the hell out of this band. They are professional and act it. Been listening since the beginning. (Yeah I know they were goofy in their early years) rather blink break up forever and keep sum 41. But excited to see what deryck does next.
This album will be such a bittersweet one. Grateful for one final album, but sad that it's gonna be their last. I was in my late teens when they came on the scene, but I feel like I grew up with these guys. I've loved every album, and I was so sad when Deryck nearly died of alcohol poisoning. I thought that was gonna be the end of Sum 41. But thankfully Deryck got better, and stronger, and came back with a bang, and has given us 3 more killer albums. I will miss looking forward to new music from them, but I'm grateful to all the music they have given us, and all the good memories that were made while listening to that music.
That's cause he is lip syncing to a pre-recorded vocal track. It didn't take me 3 seconds of vocals to know it wasn't him singing live, I'm genuinely shocked by all the compliments from people that somehow missed that.
This song and its music video , kinda helped thousands of the fans of sum 41 , bringing back the nostalgia in it and letting us feel that young youth feeling again . I bump the new album daily along with everything else they’ve made !
Hometown Proud! Love you guys!!!! ❤🎉 Congratulations on such an awesome career! Who would've though, just some boys from the Shwa, Ajax, Whitby would've become one of the biggest bands in modern music worldwide. They've been together since 1996 ... that is incredible. Almost a 30 year career of producing high energy music. Personally I don't think they should officially end, they should just continue to make music when they feel like it and never make anything official... but at the same time I understand, 28 years is a long run.
Reading some comments; geez I'd never heard of them before this came on the radio just the last couple weeks. I had no idea they've been around so long. The drummer has some nice fills...
They were coat-tail riders of the Blink 182 popularity in the early 200s in the 'flash in the pan' sense. Mostly appealed to teenagers with terrible taste in music.
