Cool idea, a way to improve it i think you might want to just get a bit longer pin and attach the pin with a string to the L bracket and when you need to take out the box you just take out the pin instead of having to unscrew it (or a longer screw and make the whole a bit bigger but then it'll wobble), i'm gonna keep this in mind myself =)

@@LykeArgy Thank you for the feedback! Although I don't plan on ever removing these, occassionally I've had to remove boxes for transporting gigs once or twice a year so a quick connect system would be ideal.

@@streetmarket3821 Oh, so you just use them as drawers, that makes sense

I have a lot of dewalt tools. I’m stuck between the tough system 2.0 and the Milwaukee packout. Which system do you like better?

@@619MMH If we are just talking drawers (Keep in mind I use a small 5x8 trailer), I prefer the tough system... overal, the milwaukee packout is more dynamic and lock much better to each other. The wall plates are amazing too.
People complain about how thin the tough system is but i think its a pro since it maximizes space.

One last thing... the packout drawers has a metal bar used to secure the drawers... I absolutely hate it, especially when I have a full trailer and don't have the space to pull out the bar... dewalt's drawers secure as soon as you close them and have not had any issues with them ever.

@@streetmarket3821 awesome I will take all that into consideration. I may start with the pack out and eventually get the drawers. Thanks for the reply!

it's a stupid idea to drill a hole in a box that should be sealed in order to make a fixing system.. when you have to remove the boxes, you have to struggle to undo that screw and after a few reuses that hole widens, it doesn't require another hole, why don't you use the yellow fastening system? you can make a removable fastening system to be fixed on this assembly so as not to destroy the box and to be able to dismantle these pipes as often as needed.

@@decartes666 I understand your POV but these are my experimental boxes that only cost me $70 a pop. I have put so much time & effort into the packout system that learning a new system doesn't really appeal to me... plus yellow's system is weaker than Red's... these are fixed because I don't plan on ever removing them, that's the whole point. As far as seal... these are drawers, they are not sealed.
