Do I understand this correctly? The first new tool is a phone and computer charger without a battery? For $79.00? Wow! I am having flashbacks to 2003! I can buy one now with a battery on Amazon or at a local convenience store for $25.00.
A note about the charger. They will also only charge as fast as the cable allows, so 100w charger with a 10w cable will charge at 10w. Companys like Anker are now making 240w cables that aren't too expensive.
Good info and good humor, cool channel, I definitely think apple ear buds are the way to go, ive even dropped mine and submerged in a bucket of water before and its still just fine and the noise canceling feature is a must for noisy rattling service vans on long trips
Unfortunate that the “power brick” is just an AC adapter. Based on the size, I assumed it was at least a 10,000 mAH power brick… especially for that price. Reminds me of iPod Socks 😂 a product strictly for DeWalt fans.
If you’re a contractor this are very good. We don’t carry cases in our pockets. A bigger case won’t fall in between your seat and console. You can toss this on your center console and roll. Plus that rotating dial is cool and useful
You missed the point. Workers wear gloves for hand safety. Guess what? Doesn't work so well with those capacitive touch control ear buds. Hence the manual dial. You also don't need to lose your small case like other buds, on a job site. These can easy be seen and found and are more rugged in a tool pack.
@@guardianali I am an industrial electrician, and I have no problem controlling my 30$ earphones with the gloves on (capacitive touch), I just don't see the advantages of this product for me and my work flow, as it doesn't solve any problems I need solving, but it creates a couple problems I currently don't have.
Wrong- I don't want them. I have a lot of DeWalt stuff- but all tools. Buying rebranded stuff at a higher price just to get the name on it does not appeal. I also prefer wired inserts- I do not lose them if they fall out, and there is a handy control by my lapel to control what and how loud. They are much lighter, too. For charging stuff, I have a DeWalt battery adapter module. Who needs a power brick when they are already in the tool box? This item is not actually DeWalt- the 'ripoff' was both cheaper and had a torch in it...
Even "20 years ago", connecting a device that draws 45watts from a 50watt source didnt require any kind of special "safety features". Here is a simple rule of thumb, current source (power supply) can be greater than current sink (phone in this case), but sink cannot be greater than source, and no amount of "safety features" in the sink device will protect the source, in that case.
As always, really like your videos. Entertaining and informative. I have made multiple purchases due to your reviews. I will definitely getting some of those in ears when they become available in Australia (hopefully not the usual 6 -12 month wait) ? Happy new year Clint, look forward to 2025 with the TRZ
I like the way they call them "jobsite." I've been doing construction for over 25 years and haven't seen a jobsite that allows speakers or bluetooth headphones. Not saying I never broke the rules, but "jobsite" is hilarious.
Thanks for the analysis! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
I’m a packout geek. I pre-ordered the Milwaukee buds. They suck. But I have found none of those types are good for work. I need something that wraps my ear. Nothing like fishing a $120 bud out of an oil drain pan.
Jlab epic sport 12 hours on earbuds and 40 hour charge on the case only 99.99 with app. Very loud with ear sensor to turn them on and off. With app you can change the sets on the ear buds. Like I have mine set for volume up and down only.
They seem AWESOME and just may have too buy me a set of them you got any discount codes for them please let me know anything helps thank you great job 😊
The nice like gimmick ain’t change the fact you are plugging a power bank battery that doesn’t have a battery and ear buds. Put them both in the plastic recycle bin and do your bit for the environment champ.
The headphones arent really new, just redesigned to match Milwaukee ones. I have the old ones in the flip case. They are OK. They were/are around $70 or so i think. Sometimes they dont charge for whatever reason cause they just slightly off the contacts in the case. I think the spin knob volume is cool but not so much practical. Seems like they could change easily with a winter hat on, or by accident some how. And for $129 no thanks
Gay. Fan boys just throwing money out for absolutely no reason. It’s a charging block and ear buds. Both of which you can get much cheaper for the same or better specs. For the man of ego and ignorance.
These products are made for Dewalt by a Chinese manufacturer. They just have Dewalt branding to justify an increase in price. I would stay away from anything Dewalt makes that isnt made in America. They don't have the same Dewalt quality.
Question: I only purchase "cheap blue tooth ear buds because (me) JimmyWarhorse is a cheap guy. You have me interested in the Dewalt ear buds. Will the dewalt brand work with just the "right" ear bud inserted? Reason being is my wife and I work side by side watching security cameras for businesses. I leave my left ear open so I can hear my wife speak to me. Will the Dewalt brand work for my set up???
Ummmm I already have power strips with usb and regular plugs, why would I waste any money on more charging port contraptions……and don’t get me started on what kind of a tool would be running around with dewalt earbuds in their ears. Way better and more compact options out there.
DeWalt has become like the Black & Decker of the seventies. B and D used to put out really good work tools but they started diversifying and selling their name until all their products are trash. I hope DeWalt does not go the same route.
Nobody:
Dewalt: Let's give people ugly massive bumblebee looking earbuds.
Nah u ain't get it, I bought the old version last year, and lemme tell u, they were danm great. And these are smaller and look better
@B1G_RED I'm not taking anybody seriously who says, "U ain't get it." Lol. Smaller or not, they're huge and hideous.
Do I understand this correctly? The first new tool is a phone and computer charger without a battery? For $79.00? Wow! I am having flashbacks to 2003! I can buy one now with a battery on Amazon or at a local convenience store for $25.00.

I have silent releases quite often…😂
Silent and deadly.
😅

Saw the thumbnail and thought Dewalt started making vapes.
Unfortunate that the “power brick” is just an AC adapter. Based on the size, I assumed it was at least a 10,000 mAH power brick… especially for that price.
Reminds me of iPod Socks 😂 a product strictly for DeWalt fans.
It’s not a powerbank and does not include a battery so 10,000mah isn’t valid on this. This is a 100 watt power brick
I agree. A 100w charging block can be had on Amazon for $19.
These products are dumb
Thanks! However what is the hearing protection on the pods? Can I take them on the gun range?
I would not, over the ear muffs are far more effective. Unless these magically have a noise reduction rating in the 30s.
Dude discovered fire 20 years later with the buds sheesh
If only Canada got these at the same time. Thanks again Clint.
some nice features on the headphones, I hope Milwalkia updates theirs
MILWAUKEE
@matthewdevries2972 mil-walk-i-a
The SYMIK blows this away.
It's huuuuge, a whole brick, makes no sense to carry while there are options literally 4 times smaller and lighter.
As well as much cheaper.

Four times lighter would be minus three times the weight. So you have to tie them down, to stop them floating away?

Trying to make believe anything Dewalt is better than Milwaukee is mad work.
Would have been a sweet product had they included wireless charging. I do like the modular power cable.

Dewalt has the neck band earbuds, but I'm not if fan of them because they stick to my neck and pull out of my ears when I turn my head
Thanks as usual Clint!!!!!!
And thank to right back Leonard!!!
Dancing with the stars will be calling.
Hahaha, I guess I have the moves like Jagger
Super excited about the headphones. I think they are even cheaper than ISO Tunes too.

Love the headset with speakers
Is it bad on the appliance batteries though to supercharge?
Volume jog wheels is a nice touch but I could see accidentally blasting the volume all the way when trying to remove.
😂 how! Just pinch 🤏🏾 the sides and pull
dewalt got you covered.
Is that over mold going to become sticky after a couple of years.
I guess it depends on what you are doing with itn🤔
I only watch if you've got a blue light string running across your work bench.
I'm gonna have to check out the ear buds
They seem AWESOME and just may have too buy me a set of them you got any discount codes for them please let me know anything helps thank you great job 😊
All about that bass! 🤣

The downside is that they can't tell your ear from the boss, if he pops it in his ear, BUSTED lol

SYMIK 100W Charger & 145W Power Source for Ryobi 18V Batteries.
Who's VCG Construction 🤣🤣
He loves vegan cookies
Not so naas like.
The brick is 5yrs behind.
The earbuds are huge and clunky and black and yellow like carpenter bees 🐝
❤Charging watts of phone and brick dont mean shit because the charging cord limits you.
Kinda like using 16 gauge extention cord on a desk heater
Has DeWalt gone "Caterpillar"😅
Opening “the first one” followed by “the second one…” Clint! You damn trend-setter! We can’t keep up!
Not all heroes wear capes Eddie 🫡
I gave up on wae buds a long time ago... comment for engagement
Now if they slap a battery charger on that power brick I will be buying that combo quick like and in a hurry!! Good vid as always 👏

I'd buy it if it was a "BINFORD" brand....
Really really nice like !
Sorry my friend both DeWalt and Milwaukee need to just make tools leave the ear buds to the music pros
Attn all Dewalt Fanboys! 🏳️🌈
