And she really disliked her Grandma Gertrude. Aunt Mary is over 70 now.
OP remind stepmom, unlike your mom, she'll get to see your child grow. She'll be apart of the first's and every birthday. If that isn't enough, then you step mom has a major main character problem.

If you want to limit grandparents visiting a newborn that is a parent’s right but don’t expect them to do a lot of childcare for you later on.
