I love sublime with all of my heart, and Jack Johnson was another huge part of my childhood. His cover sounds different than the original (as it honestly should) but it has such good style and grace. This really did justice to my favorite song of all time. God bless this beautiful music.
Honestly, that’s what I love about covers. Nothing will ever compare to the original. There isn’t anything that can top it because, well, it’s the original. Covers are the evolution of music in its finest fluidity. It can’t be “better” but…. I think you understand lol

He should remake "YOU CAN DO MAGIC" by America. He should remake "SHE TALKS TO ANGELS" by The Black Crowes. He should remake "WONDERFUL TONIGHT" by Eric Clapton. He should also remake "PHOTOGRAPH" from Ed Sheeran.
actually listen to the Flaming Lips cover of the entire Dark Side of the Moon album its fucking sweet. Lips and Peaches do a kick ass cover of Great gig in the sky. worth a listen
