defAngel No scope for Borat part 2. So SBC and his PR team releasing these videos on the net, BD etc now. When Borat 1 was in the market for release, he did a lot of promotion work all around. Now he is cashing in on this. Money from blu-ray sales, utube, online is not so big money like box office but it helps out with his publicity for the upcoming this is America series. Borat is his best work and lot of people out there are big fans of this, and additional videos like this just increase his fan base.
Jesus, you can really hear it here. I used to love Opie, and stuff like this didn't really jump out at me back then. He's really into Andy Kaufman, so I suppose he felt that this was a special day just for him, instead of letting Cohen work his magic for the audience.
The saddest part was Opie saying "We'll never see you again." Little could he know how true it was, that comedy would never return to such a strong and vibrant state as was on display here. Breaks my heart.

Borat was actually incredibly brilliant as a satire and commentary on our society, but most people liked it because of "YAAASSS" and "VERY nice". I am pretty sure Opie was one of those people.
