Well of you haven't already... look up the "up and down game" with Patrice. One is the full show for that day, another is Opie-cam in studio during the actual bit. It's got one of Patrice's (his words) "top 7 laughs I ever had in my life" moments, as they laugh at Bobo's magical penis alternating from hard to soft repeatedly as Norton switches between talking to him about fucking a girl and then baseball/the NY Mets. One of the greatest laughs ever

Ali G was a great character by Sacha Baron Cohen. I remember watching early episodes of the awesome "Ali G Show" and loving this weird sexist foreign guy Borat who used to make the occasional appearance. e.g. unsuspecting Animal Rights activists were protesting the fox hunts and Borat got amongst them doing interviews, trolling the shit out all of them, saying "in my country we shoot bears" and stupidly grinning at them as they got outraged. When Borat 1 was in the market for release, he did a lot of promotion work all around. Now he is cashing in on this. Money from blu-ray sales, utube, online is not so big money like box office but it helps out with his publicity for the upcoming this is America series.

Borat was actually incredibly brilliant as a satire and commentary on our society, but most people liked it because of "YAAASSS" and "VERY nice".

Brandon M Oh yeah, because there wasn't an entire movie before and after that scene. You fall under the category of only seeing the YAAASS, and VERY nice as stated by the OP. In between the sarcasm and jokes, there was great social commentary. It pokes fun at it, but points out the bullshit.

Brandon M If that’s all you took from the movie it shows your level of intelligence. I’ve found you can often tell people’s level of intelligence by how much they get the humour and satire. People who just focus on the few scripted scenes and the high five line tend to be dumb asses. If you had half a brain you would understand the point of the movie and the comedic genius behind the character.
