No. If u are getting no spark or weak spark, test your coil packs. Or unscrew each spark plug boot (counter clock), cut 1/4" off each wire ( black wire under red skin). That'll give you a good new clean connection. www. Greenhulk.net for tons of free help on that ski

How do you remove/disassemble that assembly where the switches are?

If the engine cranks will this stop me from getting spark to the plugs ?
