One could make a comparison between this and No country. The way they portray subtext and its 2+2= information relaying for the audience and which sixes represent what, the wolves representing death and Anton representing death and each lead character representing how they are going to handle the next step in their death and time they have left and whether or not they can live with that or die trying, like Llewellyn. As well as not having a choice in what happens to you but how you go through it, both films are about that.
