Cartel story line has aged terribly , just too many flaws in this show. Like Juice was really in it for the club, he would of just said that his father was different race, Kurt Sutter terrible writing at works here.

11:50 there isn't "anti black sentiment" in the big 4. They dont sit around plotting on or thinking of Blacks...Blacks dont generally exist in that world, if they do they're in Black clubs which dont accept White members. It is what it is. The Outlaws, Pagans, Bandidos and HA will likely never accept Black members. For one thing it makes a mess when you go to jail. Is a Black biker going to remain loyal to his MC and click with White gangs in jail..no, and the White gangs arent ganna open their books to minorities...it has less to do with racism(whatever that even means anymore) and more to do group cohesion. I'm just seeing this now even though your video is over a year old. I have to say I've seen a couple of your other videos but this one was particularly intense because you delve into every facet of Juice completely understanding not only his actions and reasonings but also his mental state in each situation. You're so precise and spot on that only a person who's dealt with similar situations, feelings and darkness can see beyond the superficial to the core issues. As I said, I know this is more than a year old and you make a disclaimer at the end of this video about you having a difficult time. I hope things have gotten so much better for you and that you've come through any struggles successfully, finding, if not joy, at least peace of mind and contentment. Thank you for an excellent video.

i lvoed the video, but have to disagree on your take on season 3 Jax being less Jax when it came to his son, he saw the life and violence that john mourned about in his book, Jax read it, and he even saw john after the belfast bombing, the entire time he was in Belfast he was living in the flesh what John claimed to be the club's downfall, he understood it therefore hes doubts on what to do about Abel, and the Priest as shady as he looked at the start he was the ONLY ONE actually commiting to Johns last wishes, wether he had any right to do so or not.

This was amazing. I just started teaching TV & Film at a local high school and I showed this video at the beginning of our class as I'll be teaching more about black storytelling. Thank you for this!

Damn i never thought about that, but that Juice betrayel was the thing that gave Jax the idea and was the stone that brought it rolling, to take black members, shows some respect for Juice from Jax He was a traitor, but Jax understood from where it came. You could say that Juice left a legacy in SAMCRO, that he will never know.

I cried like a baby when Abel was Kidnapped. My wife was pregnant with my son at the time. It felt so close to home. I named my son Jaxon. We call him Jax ❤ SoA is my all time favorite show. I was 19 back then. I’m 26 now. The show helped me grow into a good man and a good father. Great video man!

She's either an angel or a reaper. Sent to guide/watch over Jax. The fact that she's tied to JTs death makes no sense that Jesus would embody her to appear to Jax and Gemma. I think the wine and bread is just a red herring. It's open to interpretation, I'm sure. I like to think it's Gemmas guardian and Jaxs harbinger of death.

I think God Tier is a bit overrated. The wire, Sopranos are God their. Sons is B tier. They made it seen like street gangs or MCs control prison gangs, or give orders to then, when in reality it's the other way around.
