Hello from Dale Foley in Cincinnati Ohio. I’m 51 and just getting into leather work as a hobby and I really appreciate how informative you are and your willingness to actually teach the craft.
I’ve watched several of your videos and I hope to participate in your on line offerings in the future as well.

I hadn't thought of using vellum to transfer designs to leather. Great idea!

Wow your method is a lot better than mine ~😬 I’ve been using carbon paper and getting very annoyed with all the extra residue left on the leather 😭~👍🏾 for tip’s!! So VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Hey @joemeling, thank you so much for the video. I found it very helpful! Just curious what stylus you are using? It looks far more comfortable than the one I have! 😄

I use tracing film from Tandy. I buy it by the roll not the sheets. I take a paper pattern and transfer it to the film with a Sharpie. Unlike the method in the video, you can center the film onto the leather easily. Tandy also sells what they call printable tracing sheets. Overpriced crap in my opinion.

You seemed concerned about the pronunciation. Only trying to be helpful. Vellum like the word fell sound. I am not a word specialist by any means, but I use the stuff. That's the only reason why I know how to say it. Hope it helps.
