I'm trying to find an effective tracing paper/film to use. Yours looks like a pretty good one. Would you be able to provide a link to the exact product that you used in this video?
I want to trace a design onto a leather jacket. And then use leather paint to make it permanent. Your video is great for leather that is thicker and raw. Can it be done for a jacket that is already colored and thinner?
Yes and no. You won't be able to transfer the image like you would to Vegtan leather. Leather that a jacket is made out of is called garment leather or chrome tanned leather. a design can be embossed using a form or mold but it can not be tooled.
thank you!

Sorry for the delay. This is standard art paper bought at Michael's. Its on the heavier/thicker side.

Can you not just use the original paper if your using the indentation to get the result you want.
Normally no. Usually the leather is going to be wet so the paper will just tear.
