Thank you for the Drink Safety portion. We've seen way too many accidents happen from irresponsible beverage behavior in the gym. One more spilled drink is too many.
the major thing you missed. No one cares what you are lifting everyone started somewhere, and if you need help ASK someone. (how to use a machine, how to do something, even to put something away/get something out). Most gym people are super helpful and love to help.
I'm ok with gyms requiring shoes (their space their rules) but the reasoning that a little strip of rubber/canvas is going to make any difference when dropping 45lbs of iron on it is not compelling. Cleanliness yes, stubbing your toes, yes, stepping on a lego, yes, no one wants to see your ugly a$$ toes, yes, but dropping a weight, no, not gonna matter at all.
Everyone starting out should watch this. Especially the part about drink safety.

One part I love about workin out at home, being shoeless 😅
oh same, totally. Weight training in bare feet makes a HUGE difference. (esp in squatting and dead lifting and variants)

First like!!! 🔥
You said 30inch diameter for 30mm
Stupid question here: why J-cups with the "stops" on the outside and not inside?
Looking like a noob is part of being a noob. Don't sweat it.

Curse gyms that have hexagonal plates and don't allow chalk!!
Grant, you can say woman and man. We aren't livestock.
I left that crappy velcro belt behind by mistake. Got me to buy a real belt.
