    I love seeing custom built equipment that actually makes sense; nothing cobbled together and everything done for a good reason.

    Knowing what I know now and having gone through the program myself I wouldn’t hesitate to join one of these gyms were it not for the fact I have my own equipment and I’ve learned the lifts pretty well on my own. Well worth whatever they are charging. The mileage I got from reading the blue book and watching the starting strength content on TH-cam was pretty astonishing on its own. Having access to a coach and being a novice would be a game changer.

    • @xmoogoox

    • @xmoogoox
      @xmoogoox 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nickt3169 no problem. Gyms charge between $315-455/month depending on the city. Most gyms cap out at around 100 in-person members (depends on the number of racks) plus a couple dozen online members.

    • @xmoogoox
      @xmoogoox 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jd0879 Not quite that much on the top end because most coaches are working low 30-ish hours per week. There are coaches getting close to six figures with ~30 hours in the gym plus online coaching. A high quality experience requires high quality people and high quality people must have real earning potential to keep them around. Check out an upcoming interview I did with Michael Jones and another one with Jordan Burnett. These guys LOVE their jobs and are grateful they can earn a real living. Luckily we figured out the right blend of incentives between member/coach/franchisee - a tricky balance to get right.
