The part where Slash talks about how he has to remember to stay humble and keep doing his best to get better is really fucking inspiring and makes me respect him a ton more.
Imo the day rock will die is the day there stops being you people who feel different, rebellious, and angry..... that will never happen and I'm thankful theres still bands telling those of us like that that it's okay to feel that way
I don't know how this can say this is Slash's third "solo" album. This is a fully collaborative working band and they're awesome! Love Myles Kennedy's voice. Hope they keep making music together!
Ok... so I can honestly say that I've heard of this group until about 2 weeks ago when I ran across this video. Since that time I have actually listened to all of their albums to the point that I've memorized them. This group is absolutely incredible. If you are an old hard rock guy, do yourself a favor and check them out!
I saw them live 2 times in Amsterdam and I've got to say, it really is one of the best bands of this time. Brent is a great drummer, Todd's bass playing is so spot on, Myles is a great singer and Slash just speaks for himself. They put on a great show without bs, just pure rock. And the atmosphere is great.
20:57 loved that moment from the very beginning when they first posted these videos last year. I've watched it a thousand times because I was so blown away. Myles is the reason why I went to study music and to eventually become a professional musician as well. His effortless mastery, the heart and soul he puts into the songs, the vibe, his movements - just like Elvis said, it's all dedicated to the craft! His lyric and melody writing ability not to speak of. Most amazing musician on this planet.. Most amazing.
A squished grape ay shut up man, maybe he/she is famous in another country, that You don't know about. Besides being a professional musician doesn't necessarily mean that you are famous, it just means that you can create and that you know the science behind music.

I'm coming back to this video once a day, mostly just for the vocal part at 19:30. It's so crazy, how he possesses his vocal technique, he never lacks anything, neither tone quality, pitch, overtones, placement (...) or emotions. Myles Kennedy became my greatest influence forever, in fact he's the reason I changed it all and began to study voice as well. I have never heard such an inspiring artist before.
Todd really is the perfect bassist! Like he said, the bass is the ambassador between the drums and the guitars. Pair that mentality with a great tone, great backing vocals and a great stage presence and you have everything you could ever ask for.
I'm so glad I grew up in the year 1981.. I grew up with the best music...from the 60-70 and 80's - until the 90's.. and btw, Slash, is GOD! been to 4 shows, and the reunion of GNR..he is still GOD! :D It's that simple...!!
I'm amazed at how underrated this album is. I guess the sounds have been done before, but every single sound on this album fits perfectly, The mixing techniques included panning the drums in a really cool way with blending and panning multiple guitars. I think Slash and Myles are a great combo as well. They are masters of their roles in the band and it seems like they don't step on eachother's feet. They are all keeping it real and I appreciate that. Myles is a much better singer than Axl IMO. They both have startlingly wide ranges for men though.
Bassists tend to be. They just don't really get the spotlight, and most never tend to feel they need it either. Most bassists are happy being a background character, and as a result the fame usually never gets to their head.
Erez Amir true slash is amazing but i don’t think using god status at a moral even if it’s a metaphor or an exaggeration is a good idea... think about it 😊
Fantastic doco. Great album and great group of guys in the band. Had the honor of getting my vinyl copy signed last year. The pic of it is my avatar. Best day ever :)

I feel like every band/artist should make videos like this no matter what genre they are. I really like the videos where they take you behind the scenes describing on how they make the music and recording it and the process and steps they go through. It's really neat.
Hampton Beach, Casino Ballroom. Can’t tell u how many shows I’ve seen there since 1971. So many bands from Boston that I’ve met and got to know over the yrs. it’s an awesome place to see a show and play a show. My first Led Zeppelin show was here. Was at this show also.

I never was a great fan of Guns and Roses but I did like the way Slash play the guitar but I really dig slash with Myles Kennedy and the conspirators I listen to him quite a bit I think they're a great band what makes to me slash a great guitarist he loves to play and that really shines through
This brings back memories! Reel to Reel is so cool. You guy's make it look so easy. SLASH you are so humble. I love "Battleground". Listening to Myles voice. Feels like home again. You guy's are amazing. Heading to Denver. I will be watching. Ty so much Elvis is so talented. Big ❤ to all. "Great One". You are so special. Ty, 💛

I love this. Thank you so much for sharing. I absolutely adore Slash, and as an incarnated GnR fan since my early teenage years, I always had a very hard time hear other singers attempt at any GnR song -until I heard Myles sing them. He is absolutely amazing. Such a great group Slash got together. I can't wait to see them live again -or a new album...
I just love how slash and the conspirators are one of the only few musicians who aren't in it for the publicity or the money. Of course the money comes in but they're mostly in it for the music and they keep putting great music out there. #lifegoals #musiciangoals

Well said
