- And this video we are going to walk around a Chevy dealership and I encountered a Silverado for $109,000 with $42,000 dealer add-on pretty scary because LTV loan evaluation ratio will never allow anybody to resell that truck and get any sort of money out of those aftermarket parts Chevy also sales are down 6.4% and they got rid of the Malibuso a lot of stuff going on with Chevy

also any lender that would lend on that truck deserves to not get paid
Think about all the new cars that are going to need to be replaced in North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida. Prices might go up..

They discontinued the Impala which was a really nice car and sold well all the way to the very end. They had beautiful lines and were styled nice. Yet they discontinue it. Not everyone wants an SUV or Truck.

I recently submitted a Info request to Black Widow Trucks. It has been over 3 weeks and no response. Perhaps they are about to collapse like a wet taco.
So they are their own company that partners with the automakers for these packages?
What does the package actually cost vs. what the dealer charges?

No one has any money to buy cars. That's why sales are down. Its going to take a massive shift in interest rates and starting price for these dealers to start moving metal again.
I've bought new in 92 , 97 , 04 ,14 then I was priced out of new vehicle market . Too expensive and don't forget full coverage insurance per month.

I agree with you on the let it rot. Though the industry and market for those aftermarket upgrades are stupid. You can buy the vehicles better loaded from the factory and do the upgrades and options for less than what the upcharge is.

So... on the Black Widow trucks does the dealer give you the factory wheels since you already paid for them? Or do they quietly keep them and sell them? The truck left the factory with them.
I owned a 2012 Malibu for almost five years and put over 70k miles on it before I traded it in for a new Colorado. It was a good, efficient car that was reliable with a non turbo engine. It’s disappointing GM is canceling it.

All about GREED! Auto dealerships upgraded stock trucks with massive options to widen the profit margins. Firstly, the auto manufacturers already priced a substantial profits into the MSRP. Secondly, the auto dealerships tagged on their substantial markups by adding massive upgrades, which not much of a value to the resale market. Now they priced themselves out of the market. What a dumb strategic move in the decision making process. Knuckle-heads.

No one buys it, dealer sends it back to manufacturer for a full refund. Manufacturer takes it apart and puts the parts on brand new models.
