Hey! While I agree with your comment and what you meant, penultimate doesn't mean what you seem to think it does. It means the second to last in a series of something. So calling Celesteela the "penultimate" wouldn't exactly be a compliment unless you're saying it's at least better than whatever falls last. Lol

Actually, Zangoose and Seviper aren’t the only hordes where one attacks the other. Durant and Heatmor will do the same. I found that out the hard way when I ran into a shiny Heatmor in my Y version only for it to be promptly killed by the surrounding Durant.
Sorry my dude but I gotta go with Mandibuzz. Vultures, Condors, etc play an exceptionally important role in all ecosystems. Scavengers get such a bad reputation despite the contrary. Khen Gevana Rhynoceros beetle (kabuto) and Stag beetle (kuwagata) are seen as rivals on the Japanese culture so that's why they may seem to have a "counter" relationship. (basing this argument on their base stats)

Gamefreak is not running out of ideas. That’s not the issue. The issue is bad ideas. Honestly, it makes me so mad when people say that. To clarify, it makes me mad because it undermines the actually good new Pokémon. Yes, I can understand why someone would dislike klefki, garbodor, or vanilluxe, (I like these Pokémon btw) but just because they exist doesn’t mean gamefreak is running out of ideas.
What me drives me crazy with "gamefreak run out of ideas" is that most people who say this started with Gen 1. Geodude (Kleinstein in German, whhich means small stone) yeah... creative. Voltorb is just a Pokeball... so saying Klefki is just a key... yeah they are both not creative but... denying one and not both is wrong.
Rickert Urgen it’s literally impossible to run out of ideas. Look at the millions and millions of animal species to be inspired, or even inanimate objects pokemon (if done right, they look good). The problem is like you said, they come up with some really terrible and stupid ideas(like klefki, the ice cream and trash pokemon that I dont even remember the name, etc)
What people also don't think is that there clouded by nostalgia. If you look into the inspiration trubbish is actually based off of a a dust bunny that is made out of trash. If you look at the Pokemon world people saying that Pokemon are running out of ideas is like saying that all bird Pokemon are the same
Am I the only one who saw magmar - electabuzz - jynx as a trio in generation 1 and generation 2? :( All 3 gained a baby form in the second generation, only magmar and electabuzz gained an evolution in the fourth… :(
Since the whole Jynx/Blackfoot debacle, they've been deliberately keeping Jynx out of the spotlight. Same thing happened to Porygon when the anime episode "Electric Soldier Porygon", came out and gave Japanese children seizures, even though it was Pikachu's fault.
it would make sense since there's a lot of ice/electric/fire connnexions in gen 1 (blizzard/thunder/fire blast, jynx/electabuzz/magmar, articuno/zapdos/moltres...)
sounding really biased on that mandibuzz there... I don’t really feel like his reasoning focused on the items, he simply mentioned they existed. I’m pretty sure his main point was that they were highly distinct from one another compared to the other version exclusives to the generation.
You mean "she"; I've read that Mandibuzz are always female while Braviary are always male, and when I read that they're both warriors with an emphasis on battle pride, I figured that they were like latias and latios: they're gender counterparts to each other. So if you've read how Mandibuzz wear bones as a way to attract a mate, consider how that mate might be Braviary.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team/Blue Rescue Team has a hilariously bad version exclusive. Red gets Porygon, Blue gets Porygon2. Because of this, Red is able to get both by just evolving while Blue can't. It's baffling.
Oh my god. I've never heard that one before, but it's quite funny, though I agree it's sad. But technically a porygon could join your team as a mission reward in blue rescue team
I feel like a lot of your opinions are, “This thing is cute, I don’t like it. This thing is cool, I like it.” I’m quite bummed that your lists are so focused on cute = bad and cool = good.
I solved my Seviper/Zangoose horde problem. I had 4 seviper and 1 zangoose (I prefer Zangoose) so how did I make sure I caught the Zangoose? With Ominous Wind Knocking out all the Seviper and not affecting the Zangoose at all.
Your rankings are subject to way too much bias. Your Braviary vs. Mandibuzz discussion was basically, "I don't like Mandibuzz, so therefore it's a terrible Pokemon..." Not at all a compelling argument. As opposed to discussing what makes them stand out or not as far as the principles of being version exclusives. Everyone is in most cases going to have a preference over the two, so just because you think one is trash doesn't make them a bad duo.
Archer Steele he literally said that he was personal preference. Aka, his opinion which totally makes sense, If you're not using mandibuzz competitively, who would want one? No one. That's who
A point can also be made about his reasons behind Kartana and Celesteela; except that this time it was going purely by the fact that one pretty clearly has the upper hand against the other in a battle. Even hypothetically speaking, that's a VERY stupid reason to base such a rating on, since even if two people did each have one on opposing teams, there's no way to even say if they'd get to battle against one another. And that's not even getting into the fact that like with Mandibuzz and Braviary, his decision favored one over the other in the points made, instead of looking at them as being more so equals in some way like with every other pair listed.
Sorry dude I disagree with you on mandibuzz and braviairy. 1 it seems like you chose braviairy because "murica" even though vultures (which mandibuzz is based on) as also a common American bird. 2 I find they are very good for what they are both flying types one a bird of honor and the other a bird of dishonor. Sort of a ying yang thing there 3 mandibuzz is always female and braviairy is always male 4 mandibuzz is dark and flying and is in black, black 2 (dark colours) and moon (which is in a dark time of day) Whereas braviairy is normal (which is displayed as a white colour) and flying and is in white, white2 (light colours) and sun (which is in the bright part of the day) They are more ying yang then electrobuzz and magmar electrobuzz is in the grass game which has nothing to do with electric Not that I mean to have a go just I think you have it wrong
I do agree with your opinion seeing that I like mandibuzz compared to braviary and in the end this guy did just say he didn't like it just because of how it is depicted to him and to towards the game. But that's his opinion as well so eh
How is it not okay for Whimsicott and Lilligant to be two-stage "non-descript" Pokemon but Skrelp and Clauncher are fine? I get this is personal preference but your reasoning for the #6 worst is so bewildering. In play styles they're totally different, too. Clawitzer and Skrelp are arguably the same, albeit different abilities. As for the preference on Ludicolo: the only downside for Shiftry is needing a stone? Come on, man. These reasons are just downright whacked. Next time with these videos, can you look into the different play styles, or the stat matchups, or the move sets? Those are FAR better reasons to pick a side.
feedmetunes I totally agree. Whimsicott and liligant are very different. Whimsicott is an annoying as prankster mon that can do a lot of things, while Liligant is soley just a Quiver Dance sweeper. Also Shiftry was not even bad.
Funny, I always wonder what kind of person would pick the basic (and played out flying normal type) Braviary over the great design and rarer typing of Mandibuzz.
@@jeffreygao3956 yea and HOW MANY normal flying types have we gotten? Braviary isn’t special, I honest saw it and just saw Staraptor but ‘MURICAN... woopie how exiting...
Yeah like not being able to tell the difference between Whimsicott and Liligant. Whimsicott has Prankster as an ability and Liligant learns Quiver Dance!
First off, Just because Celesteela haves a Movepool That is More Expandable than Kartana, that doesn’t change the fact that both still have 2 weaknesses, and Regardless of which version you play, You we’re still getting a Great Ultra Beast to use in competitive
Yes, apart from the Braviary/Mandibuzz entry, this had the weakest reasoning. Why would you suddenly compare how they fare against each other in battle but not do it with any of the other pairs? Besides, Kartana and Celesteela have entirely different playstyles, as does Bastiodon and Rampardos. Rampardos wrecks Bastiodon but they're on the Best list for some reason. He sometimes does things willy-nilly.
Dude, Lilligant is a really good Pokemon. I used one in my White 2 playthrough, and she was one of my favorites. The strategy with her is Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, then Quiver Dance until the opponent wakes up, and finally, unleash a flurry of Petal Dances. She had Own Tempo so she never got confused by Petal Dance, thus making her an unstoppable beast of a Pokemon. She could tear through teams in an instant and look really pretty while doing so
Emperor Cubone The biggest factors I'd think that Pinsir never got and evolution are both the existence of Heracross and even if it didn't exist I have no idea if Game Freak had any better ideas
Heracross is the most likely reason. I don't know if this is common knowledge or not but Heracross was originally supposed to appear in Gen 1 but ended up being cut. In Japanese culture, stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles are seen as rivals so my speculation is that the original plan was that Pinsir and Heracross were supposed to be the original version exclusives but when Heracross was cut, they made Scyther into Pinsir's version counterpart instead. As the Gold/Silver beta shows, Game Freak was considering adding a Pinsir evolution into the game alongside Scizor (another mon planned for Gen 1 before being cut) but opted to bring back Heracross instead.
15:40 Pinser has a big problem and that is that it's outclassed by heracross in pretty much every way. They both mainly use fighting and bug type moves but Heracross actually get's stab on it's fighting type moves. Not only that but while their stat totals are equal Heracross has more balanced defenses so it's much harder to counter. Scyther doesn't have this problem. There isn't much competition for fast bug/flying attackers.
I don't understand your logic with Kartana and Celesteela. So because Celesteela beating Kartana 1v1, that makes them bad as a pair? You bring up Kartana's pitiful SpD but not its amazing base 181 Attack and 131 Defense? This logic isn't used anywhere else in the video. They match perfectly: matching the smallest & biggest UBs with opposing homelands. I'm saying this as a person who doesn't even like Celesteela. Also, I think Mandibuzz is much better than Braviary. Thre personification of America is boring, and while a simple vulture isn't anything new, it's a much more fascinating animal
Emperor CuboneI disagree, but you just kinda ragged on Kartana and talked about how they're "not equal" but if you talked about the weak connection then I'd agree. A lot of version exclusives have little to no connection anyway. At least these 2 have a contrast that ironically ties them together. Great video nonetheless
Lol i thought the same thing about his comparison with the ultrabeasts kinda dumb since he made it about typing yet right after his pair he deems good one typing beats the other
Yeah, they fill entirely different roles, have totally different stat distributions, and totally different strengths and weaknesses. Avalugg beats landorus-t. Does this make Avalugg better than landorus-t?
Emperor Cubone also all eeveelutions should evolve from a stone Flareon: fire stone Vaporeon: water stone Jolteon: thunder stone Espeon: sun stone Umbreon: moon stone Leafeon: leaf stone Glaceon: ice stone Sylveon: shiny stone
Dominic Avallone They did make evolving for Sylveon easier with the rainbow beam automatically raising its affection a few hearts. However if you choose to use certain eeveelutions during a playthrough you may not have access to its evolution by the time you have Eevee. The one silver lining is that by friendship evolution you’re guaranteed to have access to at least two of Eevee’s evolutions by the moment you obtain it. However it would be nice to see certain evolutions change from game to game. Like when you get Rufflet and Vullaby early make them evolve at level 30-35 instead of 54. So far the only evolution they changed from Gen to Gen in main series games is Feebas
Sad part is that the only reason they changed Feebas is probably because some games didn't have contests, which meant there was no beauty stat, which meant it would be impossible to evolve.
PsiUmbreon Even _without_ having competitive knowledge, I struggle to see how anyone can call a Pokémon with near Deoxys-A level Attack and what effectively amounts to the Moxie ability a bad Pokémon.
@@keklypuzz1513 Especially considering that Steel/Grass is extremely solid, I think Ferrothorn alone is a big proof of what I am saying . This type combination has only 2 weaknesses, sure both of them are very common and one is even a quad weakness, but just look at all the rest : it is resistant among other things to Water, Dragon, Fairy and Electric (all of them are very useful resistances), it has a quad resistance to Grass, immune to poison (and by extension toxic), the steel weakness to ground is neutered by Grass while Grass' weakness to flying, bug and ice are nullified by steel. They complement each other very well. I'd argue that Steel and Grass is just as strong as Steel Flying, it just has other areas in which it is strong
Clawlitzer is a major reason I chosed X over Y. It's like mega Blastoise, but it doesn't need any mega evolution (and looks cooler.) The Magby and Elekid Line were also interesting in B2W2. You find them early on, and both have a place I your team. Magby compete with the Tepig, the Fire Starter ; and Growlithe. Elekid compete with Mareep and Magnemite. Those two are strong Electric Type, but they are bulky, relatively slow ones, so they contrast with Elekid's sheer power and Speed. Having both amazing Pokémon so early was truly great. Now one I really like is Reuniclus and Gothitelle. Two powerful bulky Psychic Type. Reuniclus is extremely bulky with two amazing abilities. Gothitelle mainly wins because of its hidden ability, Shadow Tag. There are a lot of Psychic Type in gen 5, but somehow they managed to catch our attention, and carved a place in competitive battles (I heard Gothitelle was a true pain in Uber) it's worth noting.
What? Grass/Steel is a good typing! Look at Ferrothorn! Besides look at Haryana's attack stat and speed stat. Get the right set up and you got a sweeper right there
O o F Grass/Steel is great defensive typing, but look at Kartanas defenses. And I know Kartana is one of the best mons in all formats, the guy in this video just really under sold his value
Colette Flaherty it's just his defense that you gotta worry about. His Sp. Def. Is pretty decent and what hurts him the most are fire types. Given that a lot of fire type moves are special moves, you'd just have to invest in some Sp. Def. EV's.
O o F Youve got it backwards, its Sp. Def is the bad stat. Investing in Kartanas Sp. Def is not a good idea at all. Most Special attacks, fire or otherwise, will destroy Kartana regardless of its Sp. Def investment. Its best to go full offense, thats just the kind of mon Kartana is.

I had the same experience with the gen 4 fossils. I kept on looking for the armor fossil, since I really liked shieldon and bastiodon. After hours, I decided to take a break. I watched a video about all of the version exclusives in each Pokemon game. Then it hit me
Isn't it Skarmory and Gligar that are the pair? They are both in route 45 in GSC and HGSS and also they are exclusive to the version u are choosing. If that is the case, then they are one of the best pairs.
Skarmory and Mantine have identical base stats swapped between physical and special, and learn moves on the same levels. They're definitely counterparts.
Luke Detering gotta lead with a Pokémon with intimidate, and immediately swap into a second with intimidate, and then possibly swap to a Audino to Heal Pulse the Zangoose... That’s actually how i got the Toxic Boost Zangoose, actually. Stupid hard to keep it alive
Okay, you and I are somewhat different trainers. I actually like numbers 4, 5, and 6 on your worst list. Whimsicott and Lilligant are some of the few Gen 5 Pokemon I actually like; they’re cute, I’m holding onto extra Sun Stones in Pokemon GO just so I can get them, and shiny Whimsicott is the mascot of one of my favorite PokeTubers. And while I’m not a fan of Aromatisse, I love Slurpuff; it’s cute, its shiny is one of my favorites, and I use it on two of my Showdown theme teams. (Totally agree with you on numbers 1-3 worst and all the best choices, though.)
@Emperor Cubone: Apart from both Whimsicott and Lilligant needing a Sun Stone to evolve, they really don't have that much in common at all when you break it down. Whimsicott is a fast, support based grass type, kind of like Jumpluff before it, even what they were based on (plants that use the wind to spread their seeds) are sort of similar, with Whimsicott being based on cotton and Jumpluff is based on dandelions. Lilligant, on the other hand, is a more offensive grass type, even if it's movepool is pretty limited.

You monster. ...you dare citizen Lilligant But for real...Lilligant was on my team. Mostly because of its moveset and design Sleep powder .giga drain . Petal dance (which goes well with its own ability :Own tempo) and quiver dance. By far the best move introduced in gen 5
In another video of his, he makes it clear that he doesn't like Lilligant at all; even going so far as to compare it to being a weaker version of Bellossom, of all possible things. I don't think it's as bad as he'd lead others to believe it is, and it certainly is NOT inferior to Bellossom, either.
In regards to the Zangoose and Seviper rivalry, while it's not *quite* the same thing as both sides going at each other, in the Alola region, Mareanie/Toxapex will attack Corsola in an SOS battle. Which is kinda neat since it says the former prey upon the latter, and considering how weak Corsola is, even in game, I thought it was kinda cool how Corsola didn't fight back against it, though, even though I would have hated it if I was trying to catch one, I think it should have had the ability to run away should it's predator be around.
Whimsicott is an incredibly valuable Pokemon for competitive battles. Leechseed/Substitute/Protect/KnockOff with leftovers is capable of taking out loads of tanky Pokemon with chip damage and stalling
I encountered one of the horde battles with Seviper and Zangoose. The Seviper was Shiny, the rest were Zangoose. You can imagine how well that went for me.
I still call Mr. Mime, Pinsir, Magmar, Scythe, Jynx, Electabuzz and Tauros "The Rare 7". They all were very hard to find in Gen I (without glitches). And I also love the fact that they all "proceeded" together (with pre-evolutions and evolutions).
Electabuzz and Magmar... We had Jynx too, having a baby-form in gen 2 too, going after the ice-fire-electric thing we had with the legendaries... but it didn't get a third form in gen 4, possibly because of the problem with jynx in gen 1

So, I speedran X, White, OR, and White 2, and I seemed to like Mandibuzz more than I liked Braviary (mostly because I don't think the sprites or models do the Pokemon justice, Braviary looks way cooler in the artwork for the game). So, I really wanted a chance to try out using Vullaby on my team. So in Moon version, I did just that. I was not disappointed. Primarina and Mandibuzz were my two aces in that playthrough. So, I respectfully disagree with your worst #1 choice, though the fact that you don't encounter them until after the 8th badge in the game they were introduced in, and they both evolve at level 54 doesn't help things and makes it so people aren't likely to give them a chance. But all in all, I feel like there is a compelling choice between the two of them.
Prankster Whimsicott and Quiver Dance Lilligant are both amazing. And in ORAS Hurricane Shiftry is great! Also Craniados is way superior to Shieldon! Maybe not versing each other but just in general.

While Delibird was a version exclusive, it wasnt partnered with Gligar. Skarmory was the Silver exclusive counterpart to Golds Gligar, as they were even found in the same route. Mantine and Delibird were version exclusives that had their own locations not "counterpart" to anything.

Even if its crossgen, I feel like Heracross and Pinsir are more related, because Scyther evolved.
True, even in the beta, Pinsir was supposed to have an evolution, but was scrapped. Which ultimately broke the pairing since Scizor exists
Khen Gevana they even released their megas in the same event
Khen Gevana Rhynoceros beetle (kabuto) and Stag beetle (kuwagata) are seen as rivals on the Japanese culture so that's why they may seem to have a "counter" relationship. (basing this argument on their base stats)
Which then just ruined the match-up, because the only thing Pinsir had going for it was being easier to get, Heracross was just better than either Pinsir or Scyther until you found a friend to trade with to evolve to Scissor

Geodude (Kleinstein in German, whhich means small stone) yeah... creative. Not at all a compelling argument. As opposed to discussing what makes them stand out or not as far as the principles of being version exclusives. Everyone is in most cases going to have a preference over the two, so just because you think one is trash doesn't make them a bad duo.

Seth mhm i actually liked mandibuzz :(
Same, Mandibuzz had a more interesting design in my opinion. Therefore, some people would indeed use it.

Also, Steel resists Flying.

She could tear through teams in an instant and look really pretty while doing so
Pinsir was actually supposed to have an evolution in Gold & Silver, but it was cut for unknown reasons
Emperor Cubone yeah, I have no idea what was going on with that one.
Emperor Cubone The biggest factors I'd think that Pinsir never got and evolution are both the existence of Heracross and even if it didn't exist I have no idea if Game Freak had any better ideas
FreezeFlame22 it's hideous that's why
FreezeFlame22 baby version? I mean, it looks smaller, face and all.
15:40
Pinser has a big problem and that is that it's outclassed by heracross in pretty much every way.
I got a shiny seviper in a zamgoose hoard... I cried.

Lol i thought the same thing about his comparison with the ultrabeasts kinda dumb since he made it about typing yet right after his pair he deems good one typing beats the other
-I think they're a better pair because celesteela is huge and Kartana is tiny-

Dominic Avallone Yeah I wish they'd just alter their evolutionary methods for future games to using stones for all of them
Bakugoat Is Angery yeah because lets face it the other ways to evolve eevee are too specific and annoying, stones would make it unified and easier
You don't really have any knowledge of competitive Pokemon if you think Kartana is bad.

It's like mega Blastoise, but it doesn't need any mega evolution (and looks cooler.)
The Magby and Elekid Line were also interesting in B2W2.
You do know that Kartana is really, really good right? Seems like you dismissed it based completely on its bad typing

0:53 STOP BASHING THE PRECIOUS FLOWER BABY!! Liligant is amazing and you can’t change my mind
You monster. ...you dare citizen Lilligant
But for real...Lilligant was on my team. Mostly because of its moveset and design
Sleep powder .giga drain .
Matthew Kuscienko if they were to fight lilligant would 100% win plus vileplume better choice then bellossom
YEa i think lilligant is a really decent Grass type Pokemon i even caught a shiny lilligant.
Matthew Kuscienko 👍
Oh wow I came back to this to watch the playlist for background things, and I never noticed that your videos and their quality has come SO FAR
It still a fable
Same with Sableye attacking carbink during an sos
Braviary and Mandabuzz represent the clash between esthetic and usefulness, they are a perfect duo
The Digimon references are everywhere and I love it.
Wow, you've never used a Lilligant.
"I don't now who started this feud.."
Clearly Zans shot first.
Whimsicott is an incredibly valuable Pokemon for competitive battles. Leechseed/Substitute/Protect/KnockOff with leftovers is capable of taking out loads of tanky Pokemon with chip damage and stalling
I personally love Slurpuff
Me too! I think it's adorable
Me too!
Me to i have shiny named cake
I encountered one of the horde battles with Seviper and Zangoose. The Seviper was Shiny, the rest were Zangoose.
You can imagine how well that went for me.
This was an interesting topic that surprisingly hasn't gotten too much attention. Good job!
Well..... tauros kinda got left in the dust there, huh.
Sorry, what exactly did Pinsir and Tauros get?
@@Chloe_Zana Pinsir got a Mega Evolution. Tauros, unfortunately, still got nothing.
@@DrSlasher Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that lmao
@@DrSlasherI suppose Tauros’s paldean forms count?
Another awesome video... I just cannot believe that you grew so fast
Thank you!
Ragıp YILDIZ your a bot
Electabuzz and Magmar...
We had Jynx too, having a baby-form in gen 2 too, going after the ice-fire-electric thing we had with the legendaries... but it didn't get a third form in gen 4, possibly because of the problem with jynx in gen 1
Scientifically speaking, ice is a stone.
...what? It's just frozen water.
@@emperorcubone ice is a mono-mineralic rock. Rocks are agglomerations of minerals, and minerals are naturally occurring crystals. And since ice is a naturally occurring crystalline substance, it is a rock. And since rocks are made out of stone, scientifically speaking, ice is a stone lol
How dare you! Whimsicott is cute! And liligant.
YEa DOnt bE HaTiNg On ThEm lOl
I like whimsicott cuz it’s so fluffy, it’s one of my favorite grass types!
Heracross is your favorite bug Pokémon? You are one of the best poketubers out there :D. Also, I found the horde battles with Seviper and Zangoose to be an excellent added detail
Kartana is one of the top Pokémon in OverUsed, which is the top tier that is official rules, it can sweep any teams
WillCM I wouldn’t say ANY team because you need to clear any possible Fire type threats that could at least take a hit which there are a few
I would side with the vulture they are my favorite animal on earth
I agree with maractus being forgettable, i always forget it exists, i got one in a wonder trade once and it made me question whether i actually had completed my living dex
This man doesn’t like lilligant. CHARGE!
Personally, I love Mandibuzz. I missed out on gen 5 and got back into Pokemon at the end of gen 6.
Yas
I love Whimsicott and prefer it it Lilligant. And I prefer Cranidos because I find its ability (Mold Breaker) much more useful and it's one of my favorite abilities.
I only buy one game (I don’t have unlimited money, you know), so I only choose my game depending on which game has my favorite Pokémon, (Alolan) Ninetales. My favorite version exclusives are either Ninetales and Arcanine or Alolan Ninetales and Alolan Sandslash.
the amount of contradictions in this video is surprising
i was expecting something about my favorite pair Lunatone and Solrock
Lilligant learns quiver dance, petal dance, and can have the ability Own Tempo so it doesn’t get confused. It’s SO GOOD
What about skarmory and mantine there Version Exclusives.
While Delibird was a version exclusive, it wasnt partnered with Gligar. Skarmory was the Silver exclusive counterpart to Golds Gligar, as they were even found in the same route. Mantine and Delibird were version exclusives that had their own locations not "counterpart" to anything.
Vullaby literally wears a SKULL and Vultures are incredibly useful creatures that prevent disease, and they can be some of the coolest looking birds on the planet.
Meanwhile...Rufflet and Braviary are just AMERICA!!! The Pokemon...It doesn't even seem that good. Also Mandibuzz has lore, making it out to be an utter savage that eats CUBONE....what kind of in-game lore does Braviary have? Not very hecking much that I can remember. Also dark type is better than normal type. 99% of Dark type pokemon are awesome.
I've never used either of them. I have had more exposure to Braviary and I still don't like it as much.
For the ultra beast duo, they are polar opposites, one is a heavy tank, the other is a glass cannon
Nah, I like Lilligant and Whimsicott! Lilligant was my MVP in my game
EDIT: I should mention I'm not a competitive player. I just go through the game on my own, and the only online stuff I do is trading to complete the dex
Same
I love the amount of spare digimon imagery you use. Finally, remembering Airdramon's name pays off in my adult life.
Honestly Airdramon is probably my favorite Digimon!
personally lilligant was my favorite of the two.
The Whimsicott slander makes me sad since it carried my through my play through in. gen 5 and 8. Also they are the only exclusives u can get each of without needing a friend or online since there is a one for the other trade in both versions of the game.
