What you get in the box actually looks like the picture on the box ! Considering the strong winds this little RC jet was huge fun. Highly recommended for those days when you don't know what weather to expect down at the park or flying field.
Filmed by Trevor for the Essential RC TH-cam channel using the Panasonic HC-X2 Pro 4K camcorder at our local model flying club.

I have two of these, one brushless and one brushed they have definitely improved over the years
Flew mine today for the first time ; I've never had someone walk up and ask for the online link to purchase said beastie .
The dead band in the controller does take a minute or two to work out , but , whatever ...
I have 2. The updated 2s brushless version is the way to go. Great semi scale fun.
It sure is
Hi would u have the link for the 2s version thanks

@@EssentialRCthanks for that does your one have led strip lights under the front wings.
No. Just afterburner effect at back.
Got maiden mein few days ago. With one vertical stabilizer, because left one was not in the box. My was ordered from Aliexpress. Plenty of power of this brushless version. In the air it looks so real especially on the slower speed. Already printed out my own left vertical stabilizer from lw-pla.
Looks like a Ton of Fun in the Wind ;-) Nicely Done!
Thanks! 👍
I got caught in the price wars the past fall, culminating in several of these types of models. First, a $16.00 two-channel and an elevator-diff thrust only 3-channel. The two-channel is the only one I can fly at the school gym consistently. I squeeze in a 3-channel F-22 flight, but short ones primarily because of speed. After many walls/bleachers, they hold up well. I have flown once outdoors, along with two more, not to mention. All have performed well. Surprised as I am.
Looks like a very good flyer
Happy New year to u all thats coool can u maybe put a 30mm edf instead of the pusher propeller.
Would be a lot less efficient and powerful though
Dom did you ever find out what the button called the fine tuning midpoint button does? The manual makes no mention of this and I’m not sure how it works or what you’re supposed to do with it.
No. Only been out once with it and weather has been terrible ever since. It's ready to go for next time out. Sometime next week I hope !
@@EssentialRC cool Dom. This button has been confusing a lot of people in the QF0009 community, so if you figure it out, please share. Thanks!
Supposed to bring the trim buttons back to their midpoint ( think central / neutral point beep wise ) while saving the trim for next flight ; assuming of course it needed trimming ...
I'm going to check this out this week , if I can work out a legit way ( believable ) way to test it .
@@jeffwhite9392 Thanks Jeff, that would be appreciated.
@@goldenmanuever1176Since these little toys with their fiddly little control rods/horns are hard to shift electrical trims onto mechanical trimming, it is a "learn radio" function.
After you do your maiden flight in 3D and trim out the plane to fly level with centred sticks that will cause the plane to head off in odd directions when you switch to 6G self-levelling and the flight board sees the trims as stick inputs.
So you land in 3D, switch to 6G, press that button (with sticks resting at centre) and then the electrical trims will be seen by the plane as centred in 6G. Thus you won't get the jump when swapping between 3D and 6G.
Very nice
Thanks
Can the radio be switch to Mode 1 ? on the BangGood site they show a mode 1 radio?
Nothing in the manual to say how to do that. On website does infer there is a mode 1 version of the radio but seems banggood only sell the mode 2 version.
Do you find it under powered? Anyway as cool as it looks, I found it hard to own a Russian plane atm
Underpowered? No. Not in that wind.
Any way you could help me I got mine today and I could only fly it in the “expert mode” because my gyro isn’t working right any solution? Thanks.
Only flown mine once and was a few weeks ago now. From memory it wasn't entirely obvious what each of the buttons did as they were not labelled. No doubt I'll do another video on this when (and if) the weather ever improves.
@@EssentialRC thanks that really helps looking forward to the video
What exactly do you mean by "my gyro isn’t working right"? Could you describe the complete symptoms?
Can you bind this plane to a TX16S Dom ?
Not normally on these lil ones you need to gut them and add ya own stuff. That is easier said than done because they have the small pin 5wire servos normally
Not that I'm aware of. Nothing in the manual about the protocol or binding
Did you wash your jet too hot?
I wish you and your family a Happy New Year 🎉🍾🥂👍

I don’t wash my jets. I keep them very clean thank you.

Wind to much for this model waste of time
Huh?! Huge fun in the wind
Landing of this plane is not possible when ever you land this rc Prop will hit the ground don't Waste money on this
Land on grass rather than a road and it won't break 🙄
@@EssentialRC brother always grass not possible
