@@Valence3D very promising. But if yiu need to fund resources to continue Valence 3D and stay, i’d pay for the core plus security as a one/time. Are you planning an update for iOS 18? Are you planning for add-on plug-ins from you or others? Well, thanks for this tutorial. Meanwhile I have started Nomad Sculpt.

I mean it seriously, this app is simply amazing. For only $35, it's a gift for modelers. It does almost everything you want; it's like hard surface modeling on the go. Thank you for putting effort into developing this. I'm quite satisfied with the app so far. Unfortunately. I wonder why it hasn't gained more attention. thank you

I hope when the app is more stable and there are more videos people will tell their friends about it. I'm planning on making more tutorials and a whole series of quick tips to help people get started!

Ok, in my first impressions with the app (since there is no discord channel or forum at the moment) I place here the observations that I think would be interesting to add in a roadmap of relevant updates for polygonal sculpting:
    -loop selection
    -boolean operations!
    -bevel modifier
    -solidify modifier
-left-handed interface or possibility of rearranging icons
-redo and undo buttons on the same side
    -palm rejection option
-better recognition of 2-finger gestures for undo, it has a strange operation where you have to press it several times to undo a change (maybe its interpreting steps as camera movement or something like that)
-establish order in selection of face, edge or vertex without being able to immediately move it (I found myself moving vertices many times by mistake without meaning to)
The application in general seems quite stable and the amount of work done by a single person is admirable and notable, congratulations! It has everything to dominate the space that no other occupies!

Thanks for the feedback Julian. There is a discord, but its limited at the moment to a handful of beta testers and users (happy to have you there). Hoping to open it up in May while I work through the initial issues, bugs and questions. BTW the manual went live this weekend: manual.valence3d.app/ (loop selection, better undo & redo is there now)

@@Valence3D Hey, I just noticed today that we have a manual now! Thanks; it's very nice so far. I do think we could use a better explanation of how to work with submeshes. Right now, I'm getting some weird results when I try to separate a group of faces to form a new mesh. I think it's a bug, actually, but it may be a workflow issue on my side. But the manual is definitely a welcomed addition and is excellent overall. By the way, I can't wait to join the Discord server. Please bless us with access soon.

Looking forward to following The development of the app.
    Perfect combination with Nomad.
I had to update my iPad to 17.0 but luckily it’s still usable..
I would like if you don’t make every future app update be linked to the newest versions of iOS (if that is possible) (maybe just make The updates optional)

That's really nice. What you have done with the IU is really good. My biggest problem with Nomad is the messy IU (reminds me of older Blender 2.79). And my problem with Forger is the weak rendering and post processing options. If you can make an app that can join these two worlds, that would be my app of choice.

I’m excited about this, but it’s definitely a bit rough around the edges at the moment.
-I can’t seem to get snapping to work at all. Turning snapping on, or using the extra touch has no effect.- Snapping works now after a reboot 👍🏻
Editing a mesh with subdivision and mirror also seems quite buggy. I tried selecting faces at one point and they appeared to be in a completely different location than my model.
Also, it doesn’t seem to be possible to select ‘through’ a mesh, i.e. I can’t select the back verts/edges/faces of a model in x-ray mode like I can with Blender.
I’d love to be able to preview the effect a loop-cut has on the subdivision while editing - right now it’s only when you commit a change that you can see it.
Would be nice to have the option for multiple cuts, too.
Some blender-friendly options like z-up would be nice.
