Wow! That's a gorgeous result! I'll have to dig mine out and use them! Thanks for the techniques as well as the hint about gilding embellishments! Hugs, Kris
Thank you for the video. I love Gilding flakes but never knew about using the double adhesive to go with the flakes. Looking forward to making things now.
I'm really enjoying your January techniques series, Ann-Marie! You reminded me that I have a tub of gilding flakes from a series of classes I took years ago that haven't been used since. I like your idea of using adhesive sheets and think I'll try putting the base layer through my Xyron to see if it works. The class used a stamp pad which became sticky when heated (to gild a stamped image). Interesting that you said you like "clean crafting" -- me too! Hugs, Gaila
Thanks Gaila, I am glad you are enjoying the month long series. You can indeed use your Xyron with them. Yes definitely a clean crafter.. most of the time!! Thanks for watching and commenting, please share if you can xxx (check out my new super-blog at annmariesdesigns.blogspot.co.uk )
Love the idea of using a die cut piece instead of using a stencil and the embellishments - wow, not something I have seen or even thought of :) Thanks Anne-marie.
