On older mechanical injection systems the injection timing isnt variable. You set it a X degrees of timing and thats what the engine will always run on. In the competition world advancing the timing a bunch is preferable for high RPM performance, the lope and whatnot is from the really advanced timing.

The big ass injector holes and fuel set up required to fuel this thing just pours it in the cylinders so it doesn't burn and atomize as cleanly as a small hole injector at part throttle application (like when sitting and building boost in this video). A more common version of this is when a tuned street truck hazes at idle.
Absolutely a fine piece of engineering, miss the DT466 though they ran!!
Hell yes Got a love that 7.3
Almost thaught something happened till I realised it was only slowmo
And he has left the building
Сильная техника. молодцы
technically it's a dt444e the dt466 is a straight six
No. It’s a T444e
Choo choo!!!
Absolutely insane
I hate to sound stupid but why do a majority of these diesel sled trucks lope like they do? I never understood that.

Why does it lope like that? Is it because it is p-pumped
Brady *********** injection timing
That is the lunatic fringe
Wtf is a p pump and how do i make my truck a train 🤣
Git it!!!
all that for stock duramax power levels
1,500 horsepower is stock Duramax power? I thought the newest ones were around 450 to 500 horsepower.
@@cavemanjoe79 just a a joke man. I know this truck is stupid powerful

Air pollution
This truck shot about 0.00000000001% of pollutants into the atmosphere as a single factory in an hour or commercial jet.
