Wasn't the last big screen Batman suit modeled almost exactly after the Dark Knight Returns batsuit? Even the bat-armor design was straight out of the comics. Batman's looked hundreds of different ways in the comics.

Not impractical. The Batman Begins showed how come all the pieces have a purpose. The reason in TAS he got a larger belt, was most likely similar to no man's land when the Batman decided he needed to carry more contents.

Unfortunately for me, they were in paired episodes. The first episode of each pair would always end in a cliff-hanger, with Batman and Robin in all sorts of trouble. Then at the start of the second episode, you would see how they managed to extricate themselves. My prob was that there was always a show on another channel that my parents liked to watch at the same time as the second Batman episode, so I would never get to see how the "Dynamic Duo" would get out of their predicament... And that sucked big-time, let me tell you 😁

He didn't have body armor in the 50s-60s and no one bitched about it when Adam West played him without any. For all I know he's switched to body armor since those years. I did check Dark Knight out of the local library a few years ago and I don't recall him wearing it then. These days I'm also out of the loop with Marvel - is Spiderman now body-armored too?
Whatever the case, realism isn't a factor; this is a comic book superhero we're talking about. Batman got me through gradeschool, highschool and college with nothing but fabric between him and the bad guys.

When “ twins are not” by Microsoft came out. The first thing i tried was giving it pictures of Clark Kent and Superman for example. Microsoft wasn’t fooled. However Microsoft couldn’t match batman and Bruce!!
You know. In the adventures of Superman there are at least two episodes where Clark does not wear glasses in front of the other characters and they didn’t recognize Superman

The real reason the Batman costume was a complete disaster, was that it did not allow the actor to actually fly. All of the flying scenes were accomplished through camera tricks, and by the third season, they abandoned them altogether. To this day, many people, including comic book writers and producers, portray Batman as not having the ability to fly, despite the fact that he does wear a cape, and in comic books, having a cape denotes the ability to fly. Also, the Robin costume was designed to pinch the gonads in such a way as to lend a high pitch to the scenes where he used his famous "Robin's Song" to intimidate criminals. Dick Sargent, who played the boy wonder, suffered terribly in the costume, and was eventually unable to have children of normal height because of it.
This has been _made up facts from the Encyclopedia Brianticca._ Thanks for watching.

    Adam west will always be
    BATMAN!!
I saw him in an old WW 2 movie. He played a Nazi officer that was trying to stop the underground resistance. He was always getting chewed out by his superiors. His part was an excellent one, better than the head of the resistance that is known for playing the part. It is a shame that Adam West was "labeled" so. He really was a great actor, he just wasn't given the chance. But a lot of children looked up to him over the years.👍👍👍👍

I've recently been watching these on my 4k television and I never realized on the 1st season cowl Batmans ears look as though they were attached lower and pulled off and raised. But by doing so left a permanent outline where they used to be. I just put the movie on and there's no line like that so it definitely wasn't meant to look that way. Great video

Even when I was little and I watched Batman on TV........I always wondered why he was so stiff. It was like he had a body cast on. I think it did help with the Batman character though, because he needed to differentiate Batman from Bruce Wayne, and it actually helped him do that.

    That was not all.
Every example of the shiny hood West wore in costume was stitched around a plastic bowl-type cap that had no give. He told Jeff Rovin that every time he pulled any of them on, he was convinced that they were all hastening male pattern hair loss!
