TheDailyWoo Nice glad you decided to get back on Instagram! It was your TDW that made me want to start documenting my home schooling my daughter with DS on Instagram!! Thanks Adam, safe travels!
Just glad to see you posting again and although I miss the daily- this is good. You seem much more relaxed and having fun. Loved the Batman memorabilia. 👍🏻
My childhood hero was Batman. I had a blue bath towel that I would saftey pin around my neck and blue denim shorts were my tights. Dad painted an old phone red so Gordon could call when the villains were up to no good. 45 years ago. Thanks for bringing back some of those memories in this video. Absolutely enjoyed it.
I love BATMAN as I love TDW. This is great Adam. I’m excited to watch this. Thanks for taking us inside. Hope you and everyone has an awesome day. The costumes look amazing so far
they do look amazing i hadanother fried who also liked batman and i would watch the reruns have some great actors there adam west and roddy mcdowell whome i liked as peter vincint in fright night an burgess meradeth in rocky
I was six years old when Batman came on this brought back a lot of memories my brother and I both loved Batman I had the color forms he had an original Batmobile matchbox and I remember when the theater put out his first movie they were giving out free stuff I always wanted to be Catwoman and I had a crush on Robin lol that really brought back many fond memories yeah Batman was a real crazy back then and I think I had up Robin puppet too
Good Morning, Adam! Last January my oldest son bought me the complete original Batman series for my birthday. Little did anyone know that only a few months later, Adam West would pass away. I remember being two years old and hearing the opening music of Batman coming on television and running off the potty chair to go watch it, much to the dismay of my exasperated mother whom I left screaming in my messy wake! To me, Adam West will always be the one and only Batman! Thanks for the memories! Have a wonderful day!
This is great! I met a childhood hero, Frank Gorshin (The Riddler) here in Orlando years ago. We got to talk for a bit and he was such an appreciative, nice guy. Thanks for uploading this.
Great video as usual Adam! I wasn't born until '85 and I remember watching this particular Batman. It was classic! I loved watching it with my dad growing up.
🦇 ZOWZERS! That Collection is Amazing! If anyone is looking for the original Batmobile, the very 1st ever built aka (modified 1955 Lincoln Futura) you can find it at the Gold Strike Casino in Jean Nevada. Admission charge is zero!
Thank you Adam!!! My favorite show back in 1966. Had a lot of batman stuff back then. Now all I have is a 1966 Batman bank. But I love it!! It's the same one in your vlog. Cool.
Thanks for this Adam. I was lucky enough to meet Adam West and Burt Ward about 3 years ago. Super nice people and the 66 Batman is my one and only BATMAN.
Nanananananananana... SPIDERMAAAAAN! Man George Barris was lucky he got that car for such a steal. To steal a line from Robocop... "I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR!" and George did. It will forever be immortalized along side the DeLorean, KITT, the General Lee, and Ecto-1 as most awesome movie cars. Punching the thumbs up button on this vid as respect to Adam West and George Barris, may they rest in peace.
I was a little kid in 1966 and let me tell you, when I saw the first Batman episode it was a huge revelation of a whole new kind of television show...!!POW!!
That is the Batman that I remember watching as a kid in reruns of course cause I too was born in the 70s. I watched whatever my dad and brother were watching. Love the batmobile😍
Hey Adam!! I got excited when I saw you had posted another vlog this morning. I loved it. Thanks for the fun tour. "Batstinguisher" lol lol I also remember watching the reruns growing up. I was born in the seventies as well. There are so many great events and attractions to see there in Hollywood. Loved your shirt!! Love you Adam!!
I loved batman 1966 on tv, and the movie. I had lots of those toys. Utility belt, plastic flyer, viewmaster, colorforms, model kit, kite, great memories, thanks!
The tv Batman series was a cultural phenomenon. It had two episodes per week on prime time (there would be a cliffhanger in the first episode that would be resolved in the second). The Boston Pops would play the Batman theme in their televised concerts. Interestingly, Burt Ward’s father-in-law at the time was the band director on the Merv Griffin show. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for sharing your visit to the Batman '66 exibit. I owned that lunchbox back in 1966, and it made me feel like I was floating on air... with the "cool" factor. The metal was molded so the characters were raised, and stood out. It brough a matching thermus, to keep my "Bat-drink" cool... and a compartment for my "Bat"-ham and cheese sandwich. I also remember collecting and trading those flicker rings with my friends . "Holy Collection of Wonderful Memories... POW !"
That Batmobile will always have a place in my heart, my grandfather designed the 1955 Ford Lincoln Futura Concept Car (and other known cars) that was used for the Batmobile. He just passed almost exactly a year ago so seeing it again was kind of like a little hi from him. Thank you for showing us.
Just got notification adam posted a new video. Checked it out and already almost 200 views. You have a great following of fans adam. Great seeing you put out new content. Keep up the great work.
I was about 9 or so when this came on TV. I remember they had costumes for halloween and everyone wanted to be Batman except me, I wanted to be Robin. I wore that costume for every episode, It really has brought back great memories. I can still hear Frank Gorshin's laugh in my head, Thanks...
Nice presentation Adam. I remember this well as I was 23 in 1966. What was so groundbreaking about this program in 1966, was the color. Color television was in it's infancy, and the colorful, POP, WoW, and ZooM, as well as all the colorful outlandish costumes, had a great impact on television viewers. Television sets transitioned to color in 1965. 1966 was the first all Color Prime Time Season.
I use to get up early and eat my breakfast while watching Batman every morning before I went to school! That display brought back alot of memories! Great vlog Adam! 👍
Thank you very much for posting this. As another comment stated, I would never have been able to see this were it not for you. I was born in 66. I watched Batman with my Dad when I was a kid. Now, thanks to the series on dvd, my 6 yr old and I watch it together.

That Big Ben Distillery Total Dehydrator looks like the vacuum cleaner we had when I was a kid!
The original prop was made from an Electrolux vacuum cleaner.
Great show with a great cast of characters.
