My sm-26 arrived a couple days ago and I am genuinely blown away by the quality. I'd seen your videos, and others, a few months ago when searching for a mill, but I never thought I'd get this level of quality for this cheap. I understand this is what it should realistically cost to make, but the quality of the components is still honestly shockingly high. So much more substantial than I expected. I was able to get a bundle with the mill, a 6ft extension, a decent cant hook and 5 spare blades (6 total) with a SECOND extension allowing me to cut beams up to 20ft long for only $3250 shipped. Amazing. For anyone else thinking about it? Go for it. It's really impressive.
I also went with mechmaxx because of you. I was just about to order a woodland mills but when i went to order it they wanted me to pay for shipping even though 3 day's earlier i got a quote from them that said free shipping. So it made me start to second guess the company. That night i stumbled upon one of your videos and that night i watched about all of your sawmill videos. And i ordered my mechmaxx the next day. Im happy with the way everything worked out that day. Thank you for makeing your videos. Also when i ordered i used your discount code so it saved me some cash.
Awesome! Glad to hear it! I take the influence seriously. I don’t want people to spend their money and then be unhappy. Thanks for sharing your experience. 👊
You are the reason I went with mech Maxx. I have not had mechanical issues yet and I agree, the issues you have had seem to be minuscule. My only issue was the packaging and some missing nuts. I do believe that was an issue with the delivery company.
Thanks for sharing! Delivery companies are for sure damaging some shipments. Ultimately MechMaxx has to make some packing upgrades to get ahead of that. 🤷🏼♂️ Best of luck in your milling!
Got my MechMaxx 26 put together and sawed 2 Hickory logs this weekend. I made newbie mistakes but recovered fine. Worked good and I enjoyed it. Look forward to getting more logs cut, want to make a shed for it.
I think anybody that has watched your videos for any amount of time has figured out that they can trust your reviews. I have learned that youtubers are going to have the haters. I think, just keep doing what your doing and pay no mind to all of the negative commenters.
I appreciate that! I just try to be transparent and if criticism seems to be something I can use to improve, then I listen. Otherwise I brush it off and move on. 👊
I ordered my mill September 12 and received on the 20th. During that time i received an adequate amount of text and emails. While i was putting the mill together i realized for what you spend, there is real value. No complaints here.

@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomesteadThanks! I recently purchased a Kioti CK2620, ordered the flail mower from Mechmaxx, it should be here next week, looking forward to it. Also purchased the stump grinder from them. Love your videos!!!
Well I have been trying to contact MechMaxx for the last two day I ordered a new sm32 with exaction 6’.5 sent e mail Tex and called got recording not one response starting to loose my warn and fuzzy feeling all I wanted to know was the footprint to build foundation ❗️not starting out very well.
Well, I can tell you there is a good chance they don’t even know the answer to that. As soon as I finish mowing my yard, I’ll go up and measure mine for you…
Ok, I have the SM-32 with extension. The feet measure 18’8.5” from the outside edge of each foot lengthwise. They measure 37.5” outside to outside width wise.
I'm still on the fence with these mills I've been looking at them to put on my 30 Acres I've been wanting to Mill These hickories and Maples I just can't make the decision
I'm wanting to get one of the 22" mills (it's all I can afford) to build a cabin for my wife and myself but it's been a fight with her LOL. She thinks we can buy the lumber cheaper from Lowe's than it would cost to buy the mill. We also plan to build a chicken coop and a small outbuilding or two. Other than the cost of the mill she's been told you can't build with green wood. I was raised in a house built from green wood and have seen many houses that were also. Hopefully I'll win this battle and get to put one of these mills to work. Love your videos and honesty.
Good luck! I’ll be honest, she could easily be right about the actual dollar amount of lumber vs savings milling yourself. However, there is nothing like looking at walls that came from your trees and your work to make the boards. It is just the most rewarding feeling. It also gives you the story which to me adds so much to a cabin… I have built everything I’ve built using green lumber. No issues. Best of luck! Don’t forget to use my discount code and save a little more money if you decide to buy a mill! 👊
Free mill. Yeah sux for the rest of us. It showed up damaged and poorly packed. They wouldn't replace it. But because I refused it at delivery, they had to refund my money.
When you get something for free like Peeks did, then this is the greatest product in the world BUT ! . I have been a mechanic and fabricator all my life and I'm 67 years old now. If your a mechanic and can fabricate and work on stuff then you can save some money on these mills and do fine. But if your ability is limited, I would advise against it... This mill is not made for the average person. These are cheap China mills that are similar to the Woodland Mills. Don't expect things to go smoothly and cut straight wood without a lot of knowledge of how things work. If you have the extra money get something better and you will be a lot happier.

We appreciate that! 👊
Mech maxx looks like they make a solid product. There up there on my list when the time comes for me to get a mill.
I think it’s the best value on the market at the moment…. 👊
great job. I bought the sm26. I will assemble it soon and find out if it's what I expect. BTW where is it built at?
They are built in China. Same place the Woodland Mills and Frontier machines are made. I hope you are satisfied. Keep us posted on your progress! 👊
Lucus, because of your youtube videos I have subscribed to my first youtube channel. An SM-26 is in my future. Keep the content coming.
Right on! If you do buy one, use discount code Lucas 5%Off to save some money! 👊
Hey Lucas. I’m looking to buy an SM-32 and was hoping to use your code to get the 5% off. How do I do that again?

I've looked at the price for these mills, and they aren't that bad. I wish I had the time to do it.
Yeah, it takes some time to mill lumber. Sure is a lot of fun though! 👊
There is 2 plugs one is motor oil what is the second one on other side ?
Same thing…
Hi Lucas.
Hello!
Are these made in the USA or are they made in China? Looking to buy one and was wondering. Thanks

I love mine! I’ve milled a lot of lumber with it.
Range Road is a hell of a lot better and they have several distributors right in America that speak English.
