It has come out and turned out to be sh*t. Coz the removed a lotta features. There is no dying light vibe anymore. And yeah there is a energy bar for parkour. The story is worse . Feels like the made the story coz they had to make the story
Mirror's edge Catalyst was my first game on the ps4. I have played the original on xbox and I still have it. But I did kinda like the catalyst's storyline alot more than the original. And I liked that you couldn't have weapons. Like... your own body was THE weapon. I also liked the setting of a possible futureistic place visually. But that it also was kind of open world. Tho what dissapointed me with it was there were so little sidemissions while it was classified as open world. There were way more collectables than sidemissions in my opinion😅 And yes I also turned the runner vision off aswell. The quality was turning out so much better visually.
Nothing blows me away more than Assassins Creed Unity. The style of parkour is such with finesse and suave as if Arno learnt his parkour from a ballet dancer. The way he jumps changing the direction suddenly and jumps diagonally from one roof to another is just an eye candy to watch.. and play.
Unity had best Parkour animations but the controls were very unresponsive. Worst controls in the series But once I mastered the controls, Unity Parkour was just awesome AF. I couldn't go back to the older but better AC games cuz Unity's animations were just so sick

Ghostrunner is awesome. The atmosphere and music are great. Playing that game with cranked graphics at high framerates on an Ultrawide monitor looks incredible. The game is really hard and that's a part of it's charm. Once you finally beat that tough section you feel like such a badass. It's similar to Super Hot in that way. Would recommend everyone try both.

you have levels you could get a faster time breaking the animation like rolling from heights and jumping short on low platforms and not using trick markers via upgrades by pixel timing if you already have the upgrade. and yes it butchered it's predecessor Canabalt By Adam Atomic Saltsman in the I'm in a slave human robot office, run and takes of his white collar job suit. showing upper undergarment in the intro. Vector's sequel is paid I think so just search it. Canabalt is old and primative but the increase speed automatically the use boxes to slow down is an option especially in game breakdown mini modes of each gimmick like the worst in the paid version Defenestration (window jumping) too fast and hit the wall so don't take chances.
Imo Dying Light 2 is beyond everything atm sadly. Even with the "superhuman" mechanics they added. Everything unlocked, it is a blast just running around in the game. Never gets old. Really hope there is a Mirrors Edge 3 in the future. Maybe with more depth than just the parkour part to bring more people in. Got alot of promise imo. First person is the only thing that is really enjoyable imo.

You did some serious injustice to Warframe. It is one of the best most addictive F2P game with amazing parkour and shooting. Having Vector here but nor warframe? That is a little weird
@@limes_I vector without a doubt is a really good game but see the work they have put in Warframe. It has 100s of hours of content completely of cost with a really amazing story and graphics. Gameplay too is really amazing. I really consider it a crime to not put that game here in this list not that it matters to any of the developers. Lol.
watch dogs 2 isnt a parkour game,assasins creed as an example has a important aspect of parkour like in some missions u cant play without it however in watch dogs 2 u can play without parkour

Mirrors edge has better parkour mechanics and levels than all of them, especially titanfall and dying light. Very basic but obviously they have better combat

I love how you people just assume that mirror's edge catalyst was a "disappointing game" while I absolutely enjoyed the shit out of it, i did have low expectations I admit but I honestly was blown away by it plus on steam, mirror's edge has 87% positive reviews and catalyst has 85% positive reviews so..
most criticism of mirror's edge catalyst wasn't even anything mirror's edge was praised for and its parkour mechanics and world are really good and fun but people can't get past the voice acting in skippable cutscenes and collectibles in a longer game >:(

turning off runner's vision on mirror's edge catalyst made the game quite enjoyable. I'd recommend a replay without using runner's vision at all.

I feel like Mirrors Edge Catalyst was the last "good will" effort from EA. After poor sales, it was just down the loot box rabbit hole from there.

Mirror's edge catalyst is not too bad, thought it didn't surpassed or came equal to it's predecessor it's still a very worthy game to play.
What Catalyst surpassed the predecessor in my opinion was the storyline. I found the storyline more interesting and more... well... story.
