I am a 51 year old man. I have been playing video games for most of my life and I can confidently say that Horizon ZD and Horizon FB are the most incredible games that I have ever played. Simply magnificent in every aspect. Guerilla has created a phenomenal gaming experience and a wonderfully inspirig female character in Aloy. I say this as a father who has always wanted a strong non-sexuallised lead female protaganist in the gaming world for my daughter. Aloy almost feels as though she really is actually flesh and blood. I will remember these Horizon games for a long long time.

The feeling of mystery and beauty i get from hearing this theme when roaming around the map, is hard to explain, but definitely touches deep in the heart.

The part in Second Chance, where Aloy's theme kicks in, took my emotions to another level in that fight. It's right at the 1 hour mark on the soundtrack.

I'll say, In the Flood, Whatever comes and especially Aloys theme and Look Deeper are the soundtracks that did it for me. I remember when talking to Beta just before Gemini, hearing that build up of music and going "I need to find that song." Aloy's theme is a classic emotional one for me tho.
Unity (18:58) is one of my all time favorites I remember hearing it in the game and crying because it was just so beautiful! Horizon ZD and Horizon FW will always have a special place in my heart

I’ve been playing my newly purchased PlayStation for three months now. I started with Astros Playroom, then Stray, then Inside, and now the impressive and addictive Horizon Zero Dawn. I’m not very good yet, but I’m getting better. And I’ll often let Aloy roam the hills for long periods of play, just so I can enjoy this music accompanying the sounds of her feet crushing the grass.
I played ZD recently. It was great but felt a bit outdated. When I started FW I was thinking "hope it will be at least slightly better". And quick enough, I was climbing a huge tower, then "The world on her shoulders" began. And it was such the perfect timing, gosh, I still have goosebumps !
I havent played console games since the ps3 era and now that i finally got my ps5, I am amazed at the graphics and how smooth the gameplay is. Imagine in 10 years how games will look ? Beautiful story, music, and characters. Masterpiece 🙌🏻

So glad they kept in the vocals from Aloys Song. That style. I loved that song in the first game. It almost made me cry. And I think they put that song in again in the main menu.

HOrizon Zero Dawn changed that. not only that, but my love for gaming was increeced 100x times after meeting such protagonist that Aloy is! and in Horizon Forbidden West, seeing how much she has grown, not only as a woman, but as a leader of an new great world. not only did the story and Aloy make me fall inlove with those games, but the music is one of a kind, both futureistiv and classical. Julie Elven surely did a wonder on Aloy,s theme as vocals. it was wise of Guerilla to hire her to be that vocal of Aloy, and Ashley Broch as her voiceactress.

Dear Guerilla, Keep your devs, keep your writers and director, but most of all KEEP ASHLY BURCHHHHHH oh my god I love anything this woman is in and she makes Aloy as a character for me. Aloy is near the top for not only my favorite female protagonists in video games but favorite protagonist, period end of story. I just finished the game but no spoilers here. In the first game I thought she was a little too whiny at times but she's just fantastic in this one. She is who I always point to when I talk about strong female protagonists that are done right in games. She doesn't just know everything, she isn't good at everything at the start, she's socially inept in scenarios she's unfamiliar with, and she's just very likeable overall in my opinion. This second game did not disapoint me in a nightmarish way like a certain OTHER Sony exclusive sequel did in 2020. It has totally and utterly whiped the taste of that from my mouth. This is how you do a sequel ladies and gentlemen. Improve on the gameplay and enemy variety, make the open world more enjoyable by making the side content stuff you want to play through instead of just fetch quests, and place all of the lore in the world. My god I have never wanted to just go through and collect lore about the past of a world like I did for this one when it came to the Faro plague.

They even put in electronics with rumbling deep bass etc (like Built To Kill). @@NegativeNazzy Unfortunately that’s not it. It’s calmer than that segment, and in the segment you referenced the main theme is played with a flute, but in the part I’m looking for it’s played with a muted electronic sounding instrument, almost like a piano

I know exactly what song… I can’t find it either. It’s a calming song that typically plays when you’re out in the wilds. It is a violin playing, and sounds like the middle of Solace, but isn’t. Ugh I want to find it it’s so beautiful.
