Went to Wittmundhafen AB Germany to try my luck for filming some A-4 Skyhawk flying activity.
It turned out to be a great day with 4 different A-4 Skyhawks flying on a sunny day and even more German Air force EF2000 Eurofighters were active also. They will be seen in my next video.

@@sidv4615 , Hi Sid, He passed in a tragic accident on the Coral Sea in Nov.1967. His name was Bill Searfus.
Great jets, RNZAF had A-4Ks until 2001. They used to fly super low over our farm. RNZAF A-4s now flying for Draken in the USA.

Awesome video of the A-4 Skyhawks mate! It's not a beauty, but very rare. Great painted tail on the first one, and nice tailhook check at 4:00. Great view on the takeoffs too! BIG Like! :)

@@32tfs If I were The Sultan of Brunei I would have my own OA-4M and an F-5F for joyriding on Sunday.
My father flew these while he was i in the US Navy. He loved the A4 like many pilots did and said it would be around a good while
.The Navy used them over 30 years. Only the B52 was used longer

Another outstanding video! Excellent stuff! Do you possibly have any more footage just after 2:39 showing the two pilots climbing into the cockpits? If not, could you try and get some at some point in the future if you get another chance? Keep up the fantastic work! Your videos are spectacular!

excellent plane. My uncle was a4B argentine pilot during the Falklands War. where these planes were taken to the extreme limits and for which it was not manufactured fulfilling most of the missions.

@@32tfs Used to go to Soesterberg regularly in the 1980s. (aafes contractor) Also Spang, Bitburg , Zweibrücken, Ramstein. Miss that world a bit.

@@sidv4615with the extended exhaustion, the heat-seeking missile does not destroy all the moving parts for ascending and descending the elevator and directional rudder.

I was there that day. Did the 98+08 caught perfectly in the middle.
Ah Ok, don't know how to reach that spot in the middle of te runway position but can see in your videos that it's a good position, will try that spot a next time.

un avion de ataque esta hecho para atacar, no para ser bonito, lleva obsoleto 30 años, con alas muy ineficientes, radar pesimo y sin motores actuales capaces de propulsarlo sin tener un alcance menor a 500km. Lo unico bueno que tenia eran los mavericks y los que pudieron llevar las paveway, a dia de hoy los peroes entrenadores ya destrozan en vida a esta pieza de museo, que es bonita, pero entrenar a pilotos de Eurofighter enfrentandolo contra un ladrillo con alas es inutil, deben comprar f16 y reemplazar a los a4

@@sidv4615 TA-4F'sand OA-4M's at H&MS-12 in Iwakuni and A-4F's in VMA-142 at NAS Cecil Field.

They are from the canadian company Top Aces and some of their fleet are deployed to Wittmund. Thanks for watching.
They provide services for training of the German Air Force. They are used as air targets for example.
