Toyota Land Cruiser 2024 "Moroccan Adventures"

- In January, I had the wonderful chance to create and direct the launch ad campaign for the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser alongside two amazing adventurers, Eva Zu Beck and Alex Stead.
Rather than just creating another ad, I wanted to embark on a true adventure. So, I reached out to full-time travelers and put the new Land Cruiser to the test, exploring remote locations and discovering new terrains. With a relatively small crew, we followed Eva and Alex through the landscapes of Morocco, uncovering the beauty of this magical country and its incredible people.
We were there for two weeks, and each day was special, either because of the trails we got lost on or the people we met along the way.

Excellent commercial all around, The storytelling is out of this world, the cinematography did the Moroccan landscape justice. The color grading so subtle. Adi Chifor could be a Moroccan name. Adi is a comment Amazigh name and Chifor means "driver" in Moroccan dialect which a distortion of the French word " Chauffeur". By the way I did a behind the scenes for Casbah Films 8 years ago. Great production.

This was very well produced. I enjoyed the content as well as the videography. It didn't feel like a commercial for the Land Cruiser but at the same time it was evident the presence of a machine that's been around for decades and has proven to be a trusty explorer companion. LONG LIVE TOYOTA!

I am a big toyota fan and love Eva! I have a sequoia that had to have the hybrid motor replaced, and a tundra with a recall on over 100,000 engines. I want a Land Cruiser but my faith is shaken I haven’t wrote toyota off yet. I want to see if the land cruisers will have failures like other current models. The commercial is a home run and it does make me remember about the flawless ownership of my many 100 and 200 series land cruisers. My hope is this new one will give flawless ownership to its new owners as well. Time will tell

Well I think that is the diesel one, if it was the crappy hybrid we get in north america they would have spent more time pumping gas than actually driving....
Toyota, bring diesels to NA and stop it with the hybrids for an overlanding vehicle!!
It wasn’t the diesel, it’s not sold in Europe either. I loved the petrol engine though, smoother, more responsive and very capable off road, I do wish they could pack a bigger one, like a 3.4 V6, but regulations….
