My experience with Hajj as a woman. The rituals itself are not that difficult. My biggest test is dealing with humans. You will be pushed, squeezed, stepped over, cursed at etc. by people (men/women) and through all that you still have to keep your cool not to respond or retaliate. For those who will perform Hajj "May Allah make it easy for you" 🤲
SubhanAllah, that is profound and makes me think of an ayah about Hajj which says: “…And whatever good ye do, (be sure) Allah knoweth it. And take a provision (With you) for the journey, but the best of provisions is right conduct (piety, taqwa). So fear Me, o ye that are wise.” Surah Al Baqarah, ayah 197 May Allah ta’ala accept your hajj and all those who have completed it and are seeking it, ameen
I fortunately grew up without religion, in a very Catholic Mexico ... but with information about spirituality, Buddhism and connection to infinity to a reality outside of this planet. Always since I was little I believed that Catholics were retrograde. and that seeing a crucified Christ was satanic, (of course without knowing the term at that time) religions in my perception are difficult to connect the heart with... now from an external point of view, I believe that definitely of all religions, Islam is the most located in the universe of a divine force. In my very humble and ignorant opinion.
Salaam alaikum sister. Please explore Islam more. I grew up catholic before exploring Buddhism and Hinduism. It's that universal divine force that really brought it home to me. Alhamdulillah I have fasted 3 Ramadans, pray regularly and have noticed my life become more peaceful. Inshaallah Allah wa ta'ala guides you further on this path.

For the year 2024, the first day of Dhul Hijjah will commence on Friday, June 7th. The day of Arafah will commence on Saturday, June 15th. Eid al-Adha (Day of Nahr) will commence on Sunday, June 16th. Don't forget that the night precedes the day in the Islamic calendar. So the first night of Dhul Hijjah will commence on Thursday, June 6th, at sunset. If you plan on offering sacrifice (Udhiya), make sure not to clip your hair or cut your nails after sunset on Thursday, June 6th. May Allah allow us to reach the ten blessed days of Dhul Hijjah with good health and faith.

It was narrated from Aws ibn Aws ath-Thaqafi that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: *“Whoever does ghusl on Friday and cleanses himself, and sets out early, and comes close to the imam and listens and keeps quiet, for every step he takes he will have the reward of fasting and praying qiyaam for one year.”* Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 496; classed as Saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, 410. Also, give Adhan or Iqamah or both if you can because you will have a reward like that of those who pray with you( According to the hadith Narrated by al-Nasaa’i, 646; classed as saheeh by al-Mundhiri and al-Albaani). So imagine the reward when giving Adhan or Iqamah (or if you can both) on Jumuah, where there are many people. Share this knowledge with others so Insha Allah you will also get the reward.

How ironic Saudi Arabia has become. They permit concerts by Western non-believers but prohibit dua for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, deeming it political. How sad.

For critics of the ram sacrifice for Eid Al Adha: you can just point out to the them that they eat meat! Where do they think their meat comes from? Factory farms that the majority of their meat comes from are so inhumane whereas the way Muslims sacrifice the animal (if done according to the Sunnah) is very merciful and humane. And Allah knows best.
The book of Genesis, chapter 12 is mentioned about migration from his home land to Jerusalem (Masjid Al Aqsa). Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihissalam) was migrated with his wife Sarah & his nephew Prophet Loot (Alaihissalam). This was happened after his dad & the people threw him into the fire. Same incident mentioned in Quran 21:71 Al-Anbiyaa وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَلُوطًا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا لِلْعَالَمِينَ “And We rescued him and Lout (Lot) to the land which We have blessed for the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns).”

Most 'jemaah' while performing hajj will face a different trial. Some by losing money or properties, some was hit by a feeble during stoning to the 'jumrah' (a jemaah from M'sia recall when he was hit by a feeble which bounced back told us that he used to throw stones to the chicken at his village). Some 'jemaah' fall sick. All came from all over the world. Few jemaah unable to see the Ka'ba eventhought they standing infront of it. I remember my untie and her husband were so loving but because of she said how to feel argueing with your husband? She experinced it during her hajj argueing and yelling to one another with her husband while the crowds watching them. She thought its finished once the plane touched down back in S'pore. Thanks to Allah, both of them remember its a test from Allah.

Ameen My son made Umrah. He told me the same thing. I can't imagine how it is during Hajj with so many more people.

It was narrated from Aws ibn Aws ath-Thaqafi that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: *“Whoever does ghusl on Friday and cleanses himself, and sets out early, and comes close to the imam and listens and keeps quiet, for every step he takes he will have the reward of fasting and praying qiyaam for one year.”* Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 496; classed as Saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, 410.
Also, give Adhan or Iqamah or both if you can because you will have a reward like that of those who pray with you( According to the hadith Narrated by al-Nasaa’i, 646; classed as saheeh by al-Mundhiri and al-Albaani).
So imagine the reward when giving Adhan or Iqamah (or if you can both) on Jumuah, where there are many people. Share this knowledge with others so Insha Allah you will also get the reward.

For critics of the ram sacrifice for Eid Al Adha: you can just point out to the them that they eat meat! Where do they think their meat comes from? Factory farms that the majority of their meat comes from are so inhumane whereas the way Muslims sacrifice the animal (if done according to the Sunnah) is very merciful and humane. And Allah knows best.
The book of Genesis, chapter 12 is mentioned about migration from his home land to Jerusalem (Masjid Al Aqsa).
Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihissalam) was migrated with his wife Sarah & his nephew Prophet Loot (Alaihissalam). This was happened after his dad & the people threw him into the fire.
Same incident mentioned in Quran 21:71 Al-Anbiyaa
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَلُوطًا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا لِلْعَالَمِينَ
“And We rescued him and Lout (Lot) to the land which We have blessed for the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns).”

Most 'jemaah' while performing hajj will face a different trial. Some by losing money or properties, some was hit by a feeble during stoning to the 'jumrah' (a jemaah from M'sia recall when he was hit by a feeble which bounced back told us that he used to throw stones to the chicken at his village). Some 'jemaah' fall sick. All came from all over the world. Few jemaah unable to see the Ka'ba eventhought they standing infront of it.
I remember my untie and her husband were so loving but because of she said how to feel argueing with your husband? She experinced it during her hajj argueing and yelling to one another with her husband while the crowds watching them. She thought its finished once the plane touched down back in S'pore.
Thanks to Allah, both of them remember its a test from Allah.
