    I’ve had the Arroyo Grand Sport A/S tires on my MYP for six months now. As a budget-friendly option, I’m quite satisfied with their performance. They provide good traction on dry surfaces and have performed well during the intense atmospheric river rains in California. Noise-wise, I believe they’re comparable to the original Michelin A/S tires that came with my car

      These Arroyos are excellent tires and they are identical to American Roadstar Sport A.S.

    I've been very satisfied with the Hankooks over the factory Continentals. Ride seems smoother.

    Great tire test. I like the Sailun tires for as cheap as they were. I got Vredestein winter ones also. If I get new tires I will put show then off and review them also.

    If you're taking requests, can you do the Cross Climate 2's? I hear they get actual 40k+ miles on a Tesla, superior traction, less hydroplaning, even good in snow, but slightly more road noise and less efficient.

    Great video. Thanks for the info. I am on my second set of cheap all-season Chinese tires from Walmart Tire Center. About $380 installed for 4 new tires with free rotations and flat repair. I love them and have had no moderate or major problems. No noticeable increase in cabin noise. The range is a little less so what did I do?? I dropped my freeway speed from 74 mph to 72 mph and I get the same range. The first set of cheap tires lasted 33k miles (I could have used them for another 5-6k miles but I normally switch out a little early for peace of mind). In my opinion, no need for $1300+ installed tires for my 2018 Model 3 LR RWD. I do not take it to the track and I live in SoCal so no bad weather.

    Ben, as others have said, these tire reviews are outstanding and it's difficult to find anything in comparison to other Tesla content on YT. I'm in Tempe and always appreciate your local recommendations too and have used them. Dynamic Tint and also worked with Luca on my Tein shock install. Thanks!

    Already at 1,12 test goes off as there is cars around you at highway when you measure noise readings.
    Was one or two tire set tested on gemini wheels, I think that should be mentioned and with wheelcovers on or not?
    Where are temperatures of the test day, sunny, cloudy, wind readings etc

    I just put a set of Goodyear electric drive 2 tires on my MYLR. I came from the factory Goodyears, for reference. There are very few of these on the road right now apparently as the Goodyear dealer didn’t even know they existed and they were just released in May. So far, they are MUCH quieter with noticeably better ride feel than the old ones. I live in Ahwatukee btw. Your reviews are always helpful and funny.

    • @davidmitchell1920

  • @wildfrisco
    @wildfrisco 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You need to keep the tests all on the same size (and weight) wheels. Otherwise you've basically changed more than one variable and your results reflect that, when originally you were trying to isolate differences in just the tires.

    Why do you provide the watt hour per mile for only one of the tests, then you provide this arbitrary “vehicle range“ which is dependent on the battery pack size of your specific vehicle? You are just forcing us to have to calculate the white hour per mile based on the ratio from the values on your first test… It’s a little ridiculous :shrug: WHr/mi is directly comparable, no matter what EV any of us own.
