Hey guys,
Since I cut out some stuff to shorten the video, I need to add some context towards the end in case it looks like I'm bragging about my life.
The point wasn't to show how great I am, I still have plenty of issues like everyone else, but I've stopped comparing myself to others and focused seeing the difference between me now and me previously. The second you can do that, the easier it is to get better.
These kinds of videos are not going to be the norm by the way, I just felt like talking about this.
I'm very glad to hear that you're doing better! Just do be sure to not overexert yourself.

And so it was said eloquently, that any person no matter how flawed or torn can turn around and change there life for the better. Every once deserves a chance for improvment. So next time think to yourself and remember this vedio about this PSA on why to bring Gordon every playthrough and build him properly. Give him the spport he needs to be the best version he can be. Growths be damned, he is the greates unit every created because his mountain to climb is the most dificult. However, that never stops him grom giving it his all, and persevering through every dount the community heeps upon his glorious shoulders. may we all aspire to be like him and over come great adversity and be the best versions of our own Gordon.
When we needed him most, he returns! Gilbert is definitely one of my favorites of Three Houses. On top of that, I relate to your own experiences. I've been very solitary for most of my life, mostly of my own doing. I would grow depressed and apathetic, feeling that I could never be good enough, never deserving of a strong friendship. I would find myself frustrated that no one around me ever tried to reach out to me, despite how I would push them away. But I've been working this job for nearly a year now - mostly a lot of simple, dirty work. And yet I've never felt happier. I've found myself surrounded by colorful people who acknowledge my strengths and appreciate both my work and character. I feel enlightened to so many aspects of myself (both good and bad) that I hadn't been aware of, and I want to hone my boons and lessen my banes more now than ever before. I know that I will never get it all right. But I know that as long as I strive, I can be proud of myself.

Hanneman makes you at first think we're about to get a watered-down mad scientist route, but dude is just several series of wholesome. One of the best people who could be your friend in that trainwreck of a church.
This is the kind of videos that the FE comunity needs.
Seeing art trough the personal experience of others is one of the most rewarding ways to experience art, it makes us understand more about said art and most important about ourselves.

Well, I didn't expect Three houses to have such deep characters at first glance, still, good to see you again (and how broken three houses is with counter attacking + vantage lol)
Concerning the video itself...I may hve to reconsider some things I may have done or how I see them, so at least i'm grateful about some of the advice, even if it may sound obvious to others
(And hopefully, people will realise you can do good with video games too)
I saw this after watch Horace. Then I saw songs in the description. "Oh I missed a video I got 15 minuites lets watch it real quick".
I wasn't expecting a character essay but out of all fe characters think Gilbert desurves it more than most expecily given how the fan base treats him. I always hatted him since I was projecting abit with him seeing his moments with Annet (the doll and ledders) I saw it as a way to play victdom on my first play through since I didn't see his suports. On my second blue lions play through I used him abit more and saw his supports and realized etheir he is just gasighting everyone or he really hates hisself and I thought it was some combanation of both given how sincere he was.
Iv dont got much else to say but I want to say I liked his and bylefts support when you get it after abunch of other supports like how I got it in my second playthrough. I saw it as his looking back on everything in his supports and learning to not hate himself. It made the support feel earned and not given and that made me "like". I still think he did bad things and that the gaslighting he does explain why he is very desisive but I don't hate him just disopointed.

What a wonderful video. You've put it in words as I've always wanted. Gilbert is fantastically written and people overhate him for the reasons explained in the video. It's an utter shame he isn't playable in Three Hopes. I was excited to get more content between him, especially with Rodrigue.

I went in expecting a funny gameplay compilation or something, and got a genuinely thought provoking and spirit lifting video instead, awesome work.

I love how FE fans love weeb shit like Samurais and Bushido and all that. And yet Gillbert is the best definition of a realistic "Samurai" in all FE. He has lived on honor and on his master. And the day his master and honor died, he too practically wants to. But can't because he is obligated to protect Dimitri. Dimitri is the only reason Gilbert didn't commit suicide. Or the famous "honorable death" or Suppuku. To me. Anyone who likes Samurais and hates Gillbert is someone who doesn't bother understanding the bad things.
