I haven't hit with the 110 yet, but I use the D243 model in my men's league play. I'm a former college player myself and the D243 is absolutely legit. I have hit some 400ft+ bombs with it. Even mishits don't really sting like wood, but the bat does have a very sizeable sweet spot. I swing the 34-31. I've had the bat protested before in major tournaments, but it's 100% legal and approved through rookie ball if I'm not mistaken. Highly recommend the bat. I've had it for over 8 years also and it hasn't broken yet.

I'm 42. I've broken a lot of bats over the years, wood and metal both. The one year warranty caught my eye and composite sounded interesting. Boy how things have changed.
I've been hitting bp on a regular basis with the D271 for 2 years now and it's as hot as the day I bought it. I've bruised my hand on some I hit off the handle. The bat is still unphased. The 33/30 271 is unbelievable and I can't wait for the 34/31 243 to arrive in a week or so!!

Sooo....wood composite bat madness? There's some good options from the KR3 bat company and some composite wrapped bats that you could toss in there as well. I think that would be an interesting series
#batbros100k. I think that any of these DeMarini wood composites would be the best possible wood bat for someone my age. The i13 is an especially amazing contact hitter bat which is what I am used to so I would definitely be able to get used to the funky set up. I have not swung wood bats at all, I know that I can still just hit metal bats for now but I will have to completely switch at some point. The bat bros said it themselves in their Rawlings wood composite video that if you switch from a good metal bat with a big sweet spot to a pure maple or birch bat you would get a rude awakening. I have swung two piece composite bats before so the slight switch to the wood composite would not be that difficult at all. I have always been good at spraying balls across the field and I think I could continue doing that with this bat while also preparing myself to hit with pure wood bats. Thank you to baseball bat bros for doing this giveaway in the first place and I hope they continue to upload great content and making their fans happy. Hope to see more wood bat reviews. I know "Pro" wood is more or less the same, so it makes me wonder if buying from Stinger, Akadema or other, smaller companies at literally 30-50% less than Slugger or Marucci gives you similar performance. If all top shelf bats using "pro wood" are equal across manufacturers, is there really any reason to pay a premium for a Marucci AP5 (at $150+) versus a Stinger AP5 (at $90) or an Outlaw Bats AP5 (at $90, customized)?

The fact that any i13 could be used as a contact hitters bat is outstanding. I have hardly ever swung wood bats in my entire life and one day I will have to swing wood full time. #batbros100k When that day comes wood composites will not be allowed but as for right now, these DeMarini wood composites would be the best way to transition from metal to gradually shift into wood. I think that I could not handle the massive change to a pure maple or birch bat and with these bats being lighter and more forgiving it would great for someone on the younger side like me. I have not really been looking for wood bats and all my knowledge on them is based on videos like this and these bats are really hard to find and I think this would be a great opportunity for me. #batbros100k. The baseball bat bros said it themselves that these DeMarini wood composites are the best wood bats for contact hitters. The I13 in particular since it is cupped it would be really light and would allow the hitter to get tons of bat speed. I am not used to swinging wood bats and I know I would suck with a pure wood bat. So if I were to swing a wood bat a wood composite would definitely be the way to go. I have always been a contact hitter so the swing weight of the I13 would match what I have swung in the past. I am currently swinging a two piece composite so I would be used to the feel of this bat. That i13 would definitely be a great for a younger guy who usually swings metal bats and does not have much experience with wood bats. #batbros100k. I have only swung metal my entire life and one day I will have to swing wood so I might as well make the transition now. This definitely would be the very best option of wood bats there could be for a younger hitter like me. #batbros100k I do not think I could handle a pure maple or birch bat and these especially the i13 are made for contact hitters. Since this bat is cupped it is really light and somehow still has a really good sweet spot and good pop without the barrel being bullied by the ball that much. I do not know much about wood bats and everything that I do know is based on these videos. I have hardly ever swung wood bats so I think it would be better to start off with a wood composite like this one so that the transition is not to drastic. #batbros100k. It is the final day of the giveaway and I am pumped to see the results. But for now I will continue to comment and try to win sick bats like the DeMarini I13 wood composite. I have only swung metal bats in my entire life, and I think if I were to switch over to wood I think wood composites are the way to go. It also helps that I am a contact hitter so a nice balanced wood bat that not gonna snap on mishits would definitely be my best option. I am still pretty new to heavier bats and I don’t think I could really swing a pure wood bat, let alone control it enough so that it does not ring my hands in oblivion. I do not know that much about wood bats and all that I do know is based off of these incredible videos and think that they make it pretty clear that this would be the best possible wood bat for a younger hitter like myself. I love swinging metal bats and I have always hit great with them, but one day soon I will have to switch over to wood bats. I also love balanced bats so I think that the very balanced deMarini i13 wood composite bat it a great starter wood bat. I have really considered buying one of these wood composites for my hopefully upcoming baseball season, but I thought they were out of my wood bat budget. You should use the 2018 louisville slugger vapor, I’m trying to prove to my parents i need a new bat because its not very good, and mine is dead too so it makes it even worse

Just explain to them that often times cheaper bats most of the time are made for people on a budget and they don’t perform well. If your parents have money then investing in a good bat is worth it. You don’t wanna get a cheap bat that you don’t like and sometimes it is the bat and not the hitter.

i don’t have insta, which makes it difficult for me to participate in this sorta thing. however, i am a hs player and i really don’t have much money to spend on a bat, considering my other one is crap. i am used to hitting with my friends bats, usually like a louisville slugger prime, but i don’t really have one for myself that i can use for myself. it would be much appreciated and thanks for the good content. keep up the work guys

Will, you mentioned that the i13 felt lighter (5:02) - but i13s generally have that "barge pole" heavy reputation. So, did you mean lighter than OTHER i13 BATS? Or lighter than 110? Because if I can have the extended barrel and sweetspot of an i13, but it's light like a BAUM 271, hell ya!
It felt even lighter than the 110 - lightest i13 I’ve ever swung. Not a ton of juice behind it though

Love your videos! I'm trying to decide between a Brett Bros Maple Master (MM110) and a DeMarini D110. Just curious of your thoughts between the two. I'm a contact hitter who likes a bat with a good/decent size sweet spot and good pop. Looking for a "wood" bat that has great durability. My first time playing in a wood bat league. Durability is also a huge factor, i do not have much money to spend on bats. Also, I am a 2-3 hitter so i need a bat that is not super endloaded but also not light. Also, at 0:52 you say the handle is nice and flexible. as someone who lives in a cold state, flexibility in the handle preventing me from getting rung up is something that is extremely important to me. Also, i have always swung i13’s and they have felt perfect for me. I saved up and bought a baum bat a while ago and the sweet spot was too small and it rung up my hands. This would be awesome if you would choose me for this giveaway, and if not, it’s alright. Keep the great videos up, peace🙌🏻
