There have been several wood composites throughout the years, demarini made a couple, Mizuno made one and there's a couple others companies that made them but they weren't like this model.

The corn dog is underrated! Been using it since I started high school. People made fun of me for using it, then I broke the record for most home-runs in a season in our school using the corn dog.🤷♂️

I’ve had a Corndog since they released for $50 and still have it. It’s an awesome bat and more people are intrigued by it then anything when they see me with it. I did well with it in Semi Pro league 😌
Maybe it's working kinda like a golf club.. like a big head driver with a flexible graphite shaft that gives you extra power from the whipping action as the shaft springs back straight throughout your swing. Could also help explain why the sweet spot feels small, cuz you need to catch the ball in the right part of your swing for max power.. idk just a guess

I got the corndog and the combat backbone from the just bats mystery box back in the day and I remember reading that they were designed like this cause 95% of wood bat breaks happened in the handle so they used a composite handle to make a “wood bat” stronger. I could be wrong tho

Used these wood composite bats back when they dropped dude from Demarini gave a couple to our coach for us to use in a wood bat tourney. Won the tourney using only those bats
dude, the slow pitch version of this bat is one of the hardest bats to get. If one pops up on the aftermarket it's gone in minutes.
Those metal wood bats are for real. I knew a guy who swung one in a summer league and had a lot of success with it. Wasn't a demarini, but similar construction, different brand. I think the lightweight metal handle makes a big difference, if they have a good cut of wood on the barrel it works really well. Would love to buy one, but they are difficult to find
I’ve been waiting for this review I have the BBcore and the smaller barrel of this bat there soo heavy and pure endload but if u get it off the sweet spot witch is very small it’s an amazing feeling

Probably swings and hits like the AJ 35/33. This is probably a good BP bat for hitting some tanks. Small heavy barrel makes you focus on quality contact.
Seems like a decent practice bat if your trying to hit a specific spot or homerun derby bat. Also watching the bat flex with the video in slow mo is hilarious.

The slowpitch bat bros should review the slowpitch Corndog. I dont think its quite as good as this baseball version looks for hitting their respective ball, however it really sucks the morale out of the other team, and gets the outfield to shade yah DEEP when you sling a dinger with the ole corndog.

I got two of these specifically for a BP bats. There were fantastic - but they dont seem to last long. A couple jam shots and the maple started to crack near the joints

Just think of the physics. You got a thin, flexible composite handle and you whip the heavy, dense end around and just all of that whiplash comes right through the ball.
