The rocks would work by setting up a spot and walking a fuse of eggs back to your frontline even if the map maker had stoppedthem from working within ranged of a nullified structure. Cheating is when you find that a something like the factory or AC turret is clickable and disable it.
hey tom just a tip to make slow maps run faster, if you disable high fps mode the game caps at 30fps but the physics run at half the update rate so the pc can keep up better, works wonders on these maps where it's impossible to hit 60 anyway
It'd be interesting if map makers could edit rock prioities so towers are targeted before m-rifts. I mean... The humans should develop signal jammers on their most important structures. Thus preventing them from being easily targeted by rocks.

Hey Tom! I discovered recently on LPAC maps that you can manually trigger eggs by clicking the ground exactly under the egg. Found that out trying to spam multiple eggs in one spot and started setting them off instead of bunching/stacking!
Living vicariously through you on this one, as this map just lags crazily, to the point at 4x speed, the tenth of seconds click away about 1 per second ... feels bad man.
Just for the record: there is a lpac map that makes you realise that it can be impossible. Its not even getting harder, you just get only one emitter and purple wall maze without rocks or eggs. It takes 1-2 hours by default (what a muppet creator, I know, so long with just boost every 15s or so). The "hard" part is when your emitter emits so much that some of it spawns as anticreep... You have to get to the sweetspot of sluggish progress and then not buff any more or you go back and forth randomly...
I've been waiting to catch a new video shortly after release, and this is a great one to start on! You've gotten me into this game, and now I"m addicted!
one thing that i think is funny is that you can actually click on the ern forges (i think there are three on the map) and click on the button to shut them down at the beginning of the map
So, the air sacs on this map are on a rather short timer, like REALLY short timer, a whole minute regardless of the amount of boosts you sink into it, so I suspect the map creator wanted to make air sacs be more useable, but it's not as useful as the dark tower especially the previously new map when you can use it to blanket the entire map and the creator likely knew that's something people were going to do because they leave beacons surrounded by those pink shield walls to keep them from being destroyed, but that doesn't mean the skimmers, air sacs, or blobs can't reach them.
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1031 Yey, I do like melting maps, and this one was indeed Eggcellent he he Ooo, an arms race indeed, can't wait to see how it is managed :D
Air sacks are slow and expensive to upgrade but on a map like this where there are no missiles they are basically compounding interest because unlike all other units they never go away and reload on their own. But again very slow and in focused more of a seeding unit.
Ey, guess who's back with Citry Destruction 2. Now with... actual challenge. I was sitting around on the night before my birthday, counting down the hours before I have to host my annual Golf with your Friends tourney on my own, ironically very difficult maps, and decided... Fuck it. Then I spent several hours, working till 3:30am making that sequel that I mentioned thinking about last time. Same deal as before, the map is called "LPAC City Destruction 2" or you can search "Liarra Sniffles" in the author tab. Or, if you wanna be even more slick, search "Bam" in the tags, that way you can also play a bunch of other maps Tom has played. I still haven't gone back and 'hardified' the first map, but at this point the first map being easy is cannon, so my hands are tied. Anyway, Happy Birthday to you too!* *(If it's your birthday when you read this, otherwise disregard.)
imagine a gamemode like this on this map with the generating urns but you only start off with so many boosts and dont generate any new ones and urns will be destroyed if they spend enough time floating in creep and you get boosts based on that like every urn that destroys gives you boosts instead of just time could be interesting but idk anything about making gamemodes or anything like that
And what exactly would more towers do to stop the rocks? make you put it on x4 while you go have a bathroom break? While simultaniously punishing people playing normally, pressuring everyone into the rock strat that's just "walk away for a few minutes then come back and win." Yes that's always a viable strat on these maps, but don't encourage a situation where that's the ONLY strat. Even after they fix the rock issue, those sort of metagame changes tend to stick, and it's one that makes the game more laggy.
Man, it feels really cheap on the map-maker's part to give the Humons redon right beside the rift lab, where's the strategy in snipping off supplies in that?
Tom so casually rejecting the Air sacks breaks my little heart every time
I wonder when we will start seeing maps countering this Tom strat as well.
"You're wrong!" edit really got me

My favorite one that was a bug for awhile was when you could move Zeus's. Could just stick them all in a corner while you killed everything else.

M rifts do look like they are targeted last
love these maps. they're like the perfect difficulty for not being a complete wash but also not 4 hours

Tom: You need a little love. But do we even _care_ about you?
Nothing like early Air Sacs to kick off a CW4 video!
Anyone else just see that last little tower in the corner at the end? 😂
The eggcellent jokes are 10/10.
Tom totally Rocks at Creeper World. Its Egg-celent
I love it when Tom puts out a new Creeper World vid!!

If there's one thing I know about Tom, he rocks.

Tom! That game you played when it was a game jam game called Dome Romantik is out and it's called Dome Keeper, you should give it another try
"Eggcalent!"
Oeuf
6:46 Literally! A hole lot of problems.
Tom really knows how to egg on those nasty humans!
I hear that opening music and all i can think of is TheRussianBadger playing Space Hulk Deathwing...
It's impossible to not be excited for a new tom video
I feel with the pretty much complete lack of air defense the airsacs could have done at least some terrain melting.

if you press F9 you get a topdown view and can pop the eggs by clicking on them
bam! Captain Dissolve-o is back!
These dissolve maps are a real neat idea, but the 5fps lag they create is like sandpaper on the eyes to watch

I am going to give a blob a little pat on the head and nobody can stop me
the airsacks try to do your will yet you give them no credit😆

i know you probably get this a lot, but i really love your videos!
i still haven't figured out how to play as creep but i know how to do it thanks to your content.... but seriously, how do you play as creep??
It's not just Justice anymore, huh?
NIce game!
I enjoyed it
Bam!

I ran out of boosts once
tom constantly missing that the emitter is at the unit limit
Pretty sure unit limit actually means that he is out of boosts/rocks/eggs, as they are granted over time, not that the emitter cannot be boosted more.
@@theenglishbassist ya I noticed that, when the blob nest continued going up
Just forgot to delete my comment
It's not cheating, it's a clever use of game mechanics
I want him to play a map that is built specifically to use each creeper thing in sequence. Starting with air sacks.
Hi Tom, please play Repetendium. It's really fun and I think you'd like it!
