It seems the aircraft had decided it had paid to use the entire runway, and it was going to get its money’s worth! The climb out that followed was one of the most shallow I’ve ever witnessed. Was it actually climbing, or was that the curvature of the earth doing it’s thing? 😅

    The A330 is very nice sounding. The 777 is OBNOXIOUSLY loud...!!! And from what people have told me who have flown on it they agree.

      The throttle back on a 777 will make your ears bleed, and scare the living daylights out of the uninitiated who might think it’s an engine malfunction and we’re going down…..😋

    As much as I love GE engines. RR engines are what I grew up with. Cuz for some reason, the airline I flew on only put RR on their planes, beside thing like 777-300ER which only run on GE-90 specifically.
    Their B787, B777-200ER, B777-300, A330-300, B747-400 all used RR engines. (Also A350, but RR XWB is the only option for A350 anyway)
    And I used to fly on them so often that RR engines noise just make me feel nostalgic. (Beside B787 and A350, cuz these are new)

    @Fuel to Noise Generator Love your channel name! I think it’s funny. I’m sure you’ve seen and heard jet fighters like the F15 Strike Eagle take off in full afterburner. Talk about a “fuel to noise generator” - those planes take the cake. Of course there are other jets that make a lot of noise on takeoff- F111 and F4 Phantom (before they were retired,) B1B bomber, F18, etc.

    • @FueltoNoiseGenerator
      @FueltoNoiseGenerator  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, that's a completely different level ;) However, very complicate to record during take-off as a passenger, though ;)

    • @FueltoNoiseGenerator

      With increasing airspeed the noise from the engines is much less noticeable since the aircraft "travels away" from the sound (however, only if you're seated in front of the engines).
