I remember a girl in high-school said I have pretty eyes. I remember that compliment almost 15 years later and still gives me a bit of a confidence boost
When I was like 5 or 7 my mom's friend said that I had pretty eyelashes, I still remember it to this day.
I only remember a small number of times a woman has ever complimented my body, not counting family members. It was usually inconsequential stuff like a nurse saying I have great veins while drawing my blood.
I (a man) used to subconsciously want to say that those memes about men receiving compliments were exaggerating, and that nobody would value a single compliment that much. Then my eye doctor said I have beautiful eyes, and it genuinely changed the way I see myself.

Compliments are so OP. Mainly because most people cannot see themselves objectively how other people see them and have a negative bias towards themselves. I got a compliment about my eyes from a girl like 2 months ago and I still appreciate it. Also, I remember one day I was wearing this flannel in college and got compliments about it throughout the day, it's amazing how much praise from others can boost your confidence. If you're in a relationship, make sure to compliment your partner basically every day, because it helps them more than you might think.

There was a few tweets about sexism on there and I’m surprised that the “why is my wife/husband shouting at me” isn’t on there as they were trying to show sexism and its affects (which this example shows the extremes of how past affects cause neglect of issues) this personally affects me a lot because I take my anger out with shouting which leads to me feeling horrible about myself I want to spread awareness about this so people understand how things from the past don’t make things from the future acceptable this makes men feel like they’re doing something wrong and try to be better causing depression and they try to be what they’re told to be making not many of them go to therapy ending with suicide so I want to spread awareness of the issue and prevent this
