Very nice, tight work by Lee Marvin, good to see him in his prime around the time he had the great roles in Point Blank and Liberty Valance. Thanks for this.
In the episode with Ross Martin, he drives a 1958 Ford with dealer plate DL 29. That was the plate for Courtesy Motors in Chicago. My father worked there and eventually operated the dealership.
This was a radio script that was based on real events; it was used to make episodes for the radio series "Your FBI" and "Texas Rangers." In both of these earlier versions, Artie was shot and killed, living long enough to make a dying confession to the murder.
I wonder if lee would know where they would bury him? I salute him for his service to our country.he was buried at arlington national cemetery. He was a marine sniper
Nice episode. Wasn’t there the same plot on another tv show? Except they found the bad guy at a surveying camp in the woods. Can anyone help me out on that?
I was always a big fan of this show and it's great to see it again. How could I forget the jazzy music? thanks for sharing.

The trio watching the fight at 22:59 really was like a scene in 'Police Squad'.
An early Christmas gift from toolman. Thank you for sharing!
I have the ENTIRE SERIES on DVD, INCLUDING the SOUNDTRACK 😱

I listen to both radio shows. I thought I recognized the story.

Thank you Toole, sorry I missed you in chat, but I did enjoy this episode. Merry Christmas!
Interesting episode. This one seems to have more location shooting than usual. Thanks for posting, TooleMan!
They just don’t make em like Lee Marvin anymore…

It appears Police Squad was modeled after this
I see Mary's dad is in this one.....IYKYK
You can notice in these bw shows the color of the suits of the lead stands out different😺
This plot is almost identical to an episode of the radio drama "Tales of the Texas Rangers. I'm not accusing anyone of anything.
What about her husband? A lot of grieving!!!!
