That is a lovely scene Jo and I love the effect of the mica powders... I have plenty and have not used them for years! Getting too old is my problem but there we go... I just love watching your videos and you do give me good ideas so thank you 😊❤

Thank you Jo for this.... I may have been one of those who said I struggle with scene building! If Mr Mojo leaves me, as he so often does, I can get such motivation and inspiration from watching you create. Simply the best! Thank you and enjoy taking a day off! 💕🙋‍♀️🇺🇸

Great scene Jo! I have those trees and will have to pull them out and have a play. This was a great tutorial for a scene building. Thank you for another great Card idea, as I don't have a calendar. Waiting for the 2024 to be released. See you Tuesday! Bev Ann 🫶 🤗 🌞 🌻 🦋

I think your perspective of light and shadow is dead on. Don't doubt yourself too much, you do a fantastic job with perspective and color. Beautiful cards and everything you make. Thank you for going on this fantastic journey into our minds with us. I do have one question, How do you set your work for crafts like your calendar and cards, so that the pastels and such do not rub off on the recipients fingers as they touch it. And you know they will... I would.

Thanks so much for watching and for taking the time to comment…when I use the pastel pencils I smudge them and that helps to fix them…if I use large amounts of pastel them I use a spray fixative to fix them,,,I have a Matt fixative and a sparkle one,,,hugs Jo xx🧡

Hi Jo what a lovely piece of artwork you are so good at what you do amazing,if you don't mind I would like to ask a question how do some people make such vivid colours on their cards they are so bright I would reall like to be able to get that effect thank you so much Jo love and hugs.

Only thing I can suggest as this is what I do, buy good quality inks, of course nice bright colours, & make sure to keep them clean. I'm sure Jo will have more & even better suggestions. X

Hi Marilyn, thanks so much for watching, Please feel free to ask questions…bright colours can depend on many things…the type of products used…for example spray inks are bright…also alcohol inks…but they are for specific uses….some of these can be hard to stamp over…
When using dye based inks such as distress, or Elements, some colours are brighter than others. Good quality card is easier to blend on and will give brighter results too,
Also bright posca pens can be used to add more detail and vibrancy…
Hope that makes sense…hugs Jo xxxx

Agree with Jo. I've watched many videos of others using spray Inks and alcohol Inks along with pan Pastels. There is a wonderful woman who does Demonstrations for Lavinia. She goes by the name Inkybliss and She shows everything She uses to make all the brilliant colors. I have to say, I could never afford to buy all the products She uses. But I must say, She is an Artist. And, She is very experienced and talented!!! You will enjoy watching her, but She will blow your mind!!!
