My first time watching your videos! I have watched about 10 so far & love them! I do just regular cards, but I like the different ones you make. I live in USA, like you said “It’s nice to see how we communicate with each other, the words we use are different” I think so too! I love your “inky binky”! Instead of saying “rag”. You’re very creative! I will be watching and “likening” a lot more! Thank you!😊

This is 8.1.24. You've been here for a while now. I AM one of those visual learners!! And I DO enjoy your "chattiness." And the coffee and the tea etc. It's more than JUST an art lesson. You are MUCH appreciated. I'm 71 and still work full time in my accounting firm, but I try not to miss spending time with you. Thank you!!❤

Wow, thank you so much for sharing this, I’m stunned by your work, just beautiful. I must add that I love your teaching skills, you make everything so realistic and natural leaving in any little accident because, to be honest, I always make mistakes, sometimes they end up happy ones, but I feel it’s how we learn. I’ve been watching all your videos, and today is Mother’s Day, so happy Mother’s Day to you, and my daughter is just bringing my coffee now, so cheers and enjoy Jo. Hugs from your neighbour across the pond in Ireland. XX

That's lovely thanks Jo, I'll definitely have a go. All the wonderful TH-camrs I watch get thumbs down, and some even get nasty comments, I don't know why anyone would do that when someone has made so much effort to share with complete strangers, but they do. I love your videos, I feel like you're a good friend and it doesn't feel quite so lonely. Love all the personal touches, and I learn so much. Keep doing what you're doing ❤️❤️❤️

Jo , you never waffle, you make me feel like you are chatting to me, in fact, I have actually answered you out loud more than once!! I’m down in Devon but originally I’m from Lancashire, so you almost take me home!! As a retired art teacher, I can follow your instructions so easily, because you inspire confidence whilst explaining in fine detail, especially the reflections which have been a huge problem for me. I’ve tried ‘drawing’ them in but not very successfully! Your three methods are amazing!! A huge, grateful Thank You!! Donna.

Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorial Jo, I love how you explain things in so much detail that we can all understand where your coming from or what you mean etc. Love watching your video’s and I’ve learnt so much from you, take care, and keep smiling, don’t let the person who is giving you a dislike thumbs down a second of your time, they are doing you a favour by hitting the thumbs down as it signals to TH-cam that the person has watched your video, so really every time they press on the thumbs down your video will become more popular in the statistics. xx

Thank you so much Jo, and firstly there is nothing wrong with this tutorial. You’ve shown me so much that I didn’t know, and lots of tips and tricks too. Whoever that is, just ignore them, you have 212 great 👍 comments, and just one ☝️ moron, who probably leaves these thumbs down 👎 for everyone they watch. Why bother????? I really don’t know. I’ve just seen your channel, and I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up 👍 too. And I really really don’t do that lightly. Your excellent and very easy to listen to. I’m really really looking forward to seeing you again soon. Stay safe and well too xxx Mags

You're so sweet to fret over the down vote (most people these days wear them like a badge of honor - haha I suppose you aren't very controversial though (or you wouldn't think so! )) But please don't get too bummed about it - who knows what set someone off when they were having a bad day, or maybe they just hate ink. There is also a mirror image (flat) rubber stamp that I have to do opposite images. It's the same principle as the brayer, but flat on a wood mount. I will be using your acetate trick for sure - it is so much better than rubber because you can see what you're doing. I really appreciate your explaining as you go along. It is very helpful to me! Thank you!!

Awesome tutorial, very informative. I loved how you showed different ways to get the same results. I did my first reverse stamping earlier this year, and loved the results, I used the gel plate, and stamping platform.
I’m kinda scared of the brayer, I need to bite the bullet and use it. I can’t believe someone would make you feel like that, thats not a sign of a good teacher!
I’m the same with keep saying so, and right, and I can ramble on forever too. It just made me giggle, because I say the same in my videos 😂❤️❤️❤️❤️

It's funny you should say about a brayer, because it was a Lavinia tutorial video that gave me that light bulb moment to enable me to do it without those dreaded lines. Barbara Gray from clarity was also helpful with talking about the very edge of the roller and doing a wheelie to get rid of ink off that very edge which again gives lines. Thanks to both ladies I can now brayer 👌👍
