Gigi, purtroppo, aveva già mostrato contro Haiti e soprattutto l'Argentina di non essere in forma. Quella squadra aveva un'età media troppo elevata, e purtroppo Valcareggi non l'aveva capito (e non era neppure ben consigliato, probabilmente). Così la disfatta fu inevitabile.
È proprio così, e lo stesso Chinaglia era appesantito e fiacco e a peggiorare le cose il suo pessimo rapporto col CT che ha causato dissidi nell’ambiente , comunque il quadro fisico-atletico della squadra era pessimo e con squadre atletiche come quella Polacca non poteva che finire così?
As far as I remember , there were no dirty fouls in that game (except maybe one). Just hard football. no dives or other BS. Compare it to the current Italian team play.
